We stayed in chalet Maxine for a week at the beginning of March. It was well located for the slopes and local amenities (bars), and our host Amy was the perfect host. The food was brilliant throughout the week and Amy catered to all our various dietary requirements. She also waited until gone 11pm for our delayed arrival, greeting us...

Stayed in Chalet Maxine for week in March 14 as group and all had a fabulous time! Chalet on whole is (as advertised) fairly basic, though has absolutely everything you need and was always warm and clean. Amy was an even better host than the reviews had suggested, the food everyday was superb, all individual tastes catered for and very...

5 of us spent a week in chalet Maxine from the 25th Jan. Upon arrival we dumped our boards in the dry room and met our host Amy who showed us our rooms and made us feel instantly at home. The chalet was spacious, warm and far exceeded our expectations. On top of this Amy was the best host, breakfast...

Watching Blue Crush 2 in the comfort of my very own chalet in the middle of Meribel is one of the highlights of my life. The part when they go to the club and the white girl dances like a local but then the ivory poacher grabs her was gripping from start to finish. The experience was made more enjoyable...

I and two friends stayed at chalet Maxine in December. We booked our holiday through Ski France and from start to finish we couldn't falter. Chalet Maxine is in prime location in meribel with it being only a short walk from the lifts and also the après nightlife. The icing on the cake for chalet Maxine was our beautiful host...

Fabulous stay in the Maxine, which has a great central location in Meribel. Bella, provided great food for the team with ample supplies of wine. Triple rooms upstairs are excellent. Double rooms downstairs are a little cosy for twin beds.

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of January with 7 other friends, every one of us said we would go back. The host Amy could not do enough for us. Making sure everyone was happy whether it be at meal time, nightlife and where to go skiing. Having stayed in a few catered chalets before this one...

Amenities

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Slap bang in the middle of the Three Valleys, Méribel has a fantastic location, access to some of the best skiing in the world, and a vibrant nightlife. Created by a Brit, and decidedly un-French, this purpose-built resort is very popular with UK skiers in search of varied pistes and riotous evenings. The round of happy hours, live music and general revelry starts relatively early in Méribel, and usually carries on into the wee small hours. There are plenty of pubs to choose from, and a wide-ranging selection of restaurants, including some top-notch Michelin-starred establishments. During the day, there are plenty of non-ski activities on offer, including swimming, skating, hiking, snowshoeing, hang gliding, ice climbing and dog sledging. ... more   less

“Tip: no wifi in chalet but is free/available at the Tavern pub just a short walk away. Pick a upstairs room for space and at back (road noise can be quite loud). Couple of beginners in group had bit more of a trek in mornings, there is however a bus.”
