Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Location, location, location. That's what it offers to the guests as it is literally within walking distance from everything. Other than that, it looks old and needs new mattresses and new air-conditioning. It was clean since there was a cleaning service every day, but it is very outdated especially compared to the hotels around it. There is almost never someone at the reception but you can call the owners and they will provide you with information should you need it.

This two room apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, at a good price. It’s right on George’s Beach, and yet an easy walk to the port, shops and castle and restaurants without number. One room has a double bed, the other has a single bed which doubles as a lounge and, a kitchenette. The terrace opens onto a glorious view of the beach. It’s also spotlessly clean. We’ll definitely stay here again.

If looking for an affordable stay near to town, then go for this place.its so so near to st George beach(shallow waters, good for families with kids, and has amazing restaurants, pls try kavouri.kavouri has average price for amazing food).the owner was friendly and helpful , to the extent of sending us by car to the port on the last day at no charge. The room I had at the ground floor was spacious with a small kitchen and a refrigerator.however the bathroom is attach together with the toilet ,and it's kinda small.beware of its the lower ground room, the shower can be very strong , and water may spill over from the bathroom.the room has a little stench smell when we stayed on the 1st nite, prolly it was becoz nobody stayed in this room for quite some time, but we manage to get rid of it by opening the windows and switching on the air conditioning. Other than tat , it's a nice place to stay in coz of its location and it's a quiet place away from the bustling sounds near to the port.

We were so happy with our choice to stay at Studios Naxos! Research and advice from other travelers on the forums paid off. I booked directly by contacting the owner Stavroula who was very responsive to email. The owners, Stavroula and her husband were so welcoming. They provided pickup and drop off at the airport. They also own the little beach shop on the lane below the studios and provided a map and helpful info to get us started on our exploration of Naxos Town (Chora) and the island. We stayed in the top floor studio which was perfect with a separate sitting room/kitchenette (couch that turns into a bed if you have extra people, small fridge, sink, 2 burner cook top, dishes, utensils, pots, table and chairs). The bedroom with twin beds is separate; beds and pillows were comfortable. The balcony opens off the bedroom with views looking over the few tavernas below, directly down to Agios Georgios Beach and the sea. Balcony is just wide enough for a half table and a couple of chairs and has a retractable awning for some protection from the sun (or rain if needed); lovely to sit out there for meals or to relax and to take in the lovely views and street life in the narrow cobbled lanes around the many quaint studio apartments in the area. Studio has AC but we did not ever need to use it. Bathroom is set up in two rooms, one with shower and sink; the other with toilet and sink; actually quite a handy set up. Wifi was free and connection and speed was great. There is a small lending library at the front door of the studios which had a good selection of English language books and some travel guide books. Location is perfect on the north end of Agios Georgios Beach so only a few minutes walk either along the seafront or narrow streets into the main Naxos Town waterfront or Old Town and Kastro area, Portara ruins at Temple of Apollo, ferry port, harbour, ktel bus station etc. Few minutes walk to the main square and selection of local supermarkets, bakeries, tavernas, shopping, car rental agencies etc. So much to see and do in the immediate area. Only 15-30 minute drive to get into the hills and access to mountain villages and to other beach areas (accessible by car or public bus). Free convenient public parking on the waterfront just north of the studio which is about 1 minute walk (we could look down at the parking lot from our balcony). Agios Georgios Beach immediately in front of Studios Naxos has a selection of tavernas for drinks or meals, is sandy and has a very graduated sheltered sandy entry into the water. Lots of people including children enjoying the beach and sea even after peak season. This was a perfect location which contributed to a perfect vacation! Miss it already!

The hosts are awesome. They will pick you up at the port and take you back when departing. The location is near St George Beach and night life. The breakfast that is provided every day is home cooked. It's a very hearty and large breakfast. As a matter of fact, we pack the left over sandwiches for our daily excursions. If we ever return to Naxos, which we plan to, we will definitely stay here again.

We had a very pleasant stay here. It is close to the beach, the owners are very friendly and even picked us up from the port spontaneously. The rooms are clean and they have all the facilities you need during a stay on Naxos.

We stayed in the 3rd floor studio for 3 nights, enjoying an impeccably clean apartment, comfortable beds (2 twins), and beautiful view from the sunny balcony. There is one bathroom--spread over 2 rooms--one with toilet, the other with shower. (I can't recall if they each had a sink or if just one of them did.) In the shower room, the ventilation is through a hole in the wall (!)--we learned that we needed to close the door to that room at night to avoid getting cold! the kitchen included a hot pot, a two burner stove and a small refrigerator--and a table and sofa. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood to the nearby market store for essentials. The location was terrific--on the beach, in a neighborhood, and a walk to town and all it offers. We took a terrific tour with Naxos Tours--8 hrs up and down the mts with stops in small towns, historical markers, a potter, and a distillery. Excellent guide and astonishing views--a 25E bargain. We enjoyed Naxos and would stay again at Studio Naxos--kind and genuine people! And very clearly--hard working!

Mike was extremely helpful in assisting me to get a reservation for the perfect room to fit my needs. He also offered to help me with many other things like locating car or bike rentals and local food shops. After I broke my leg he was again super helpful with cancellation and refund issues. As soon as I can travel to Greece I will book with him again.

Stayed for a week in July 2016 and loved our top floor studio. Quirky inside with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms so very large for 2 people. Lovely little balcony that gets the sun all day and has amazing views over the beach and sea. We were so well looked after with incredible generosity and would have no hesitation in highly recommending these affordable studios. In a fantastic location just yards from the beach ( great for a quick dip in the sea) restaurants and some lovely cafes. Easy flatish walk into the town. Make sure you find the old market area. Would recommend a seaview studio. Fantastic holiday - thank you!
