Really great experience staying here in August for 4 nights. The hotel is located super close to a great beach, and the rooms are spread around, making this feel like a mini-resort rather than a hotel. The room was clean, fairly modern with good A/C and a bath (water pressure could have been better). The star of the hotel is the pool/bar area, with double sunbed loungers available, a really nice pool to swim in and friendly staff who keep your hunger and thirst at bay.

The staff really went above and beyond during our stay, helping us use the hotel's free bikes (which were a bit ropey) and tennis court. They even packed us a small breakfast to take with us because our flight was so early in the morning.

The breakfast was delicious, with many different varieties of food available - both savory and sweet. Covid-19 precautions were taken and felt quite reassured by these, and the outdoor seating overlooking the pool was nice.

Highly recommend Porto Naxos Hotel!

We loved this hotel so much! The second you walk through the door into the huge reception lounge it just feels luxurious. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Everywhere was spotless. Our room was large and very comfortable. Great beds. Lovely thick towels and robes. Great aircon. A Fridge. Fantastic location just on the edge of town. Despite having a room right on the road side we couldn't hear a thing. Our room was so quiet. There is a supermarket right opposite and the beach, bars and restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk through the back streets. All really safe to walk through day or night. The best part had to be the pool. It was the most relaxing pool we have ever been to. There only seemed to be adults there during our visit so it was really peaceful. There was chilled house music playing. Big comfy sunbeds that were readily available and not reserved or hogged by absent users! Dani was amazing. The second you needed anything he was right there with fresh towels, putting up your parasol or fetching you something from the bar. Vasilis the bar tender made some really lovely cocktails. The food was lovely and very reasonably priced. We really can't praise it enough and would go back in a heartbeat. Naxos itself is beautiful. Chora and the port area are spectacular. Such great views, especially at sunset. No end of great places to eat and drink. A real Greek gem. I can't wait to go back and will definitely stay at this hotel next time.

Very comfortable week at Porto Naxos Hotel. Clean rooms, facilities in good working order, helpful staff. This hotel is ideally located for exploring Naxos. Situated just on the edge of town it was a 15min stroll into the centre each evening for dinner. Plaka beach is about 15 min drive away. (We can recommend 'Tonys' nearby for renting mopeds and quad bikes.)

The hotel is situated along a main road into town. I can't comment on how loud the road outside was at night but I would recommend booking a room facing the beach if possible.

Breakfast was pretty standard and offers a decent variety for all. The pool area is very comfortable and the pool bar a particular highlight. The vibe was very chilled and not too noisy. The gym is very basic and could benefit from some improvement/general updating. For some reason it was locked on arrival so I had to ask for it to be kept open during our stay.

We stayed in the Superior room with pool view. The private terrace was enormous and a great spot to watch sunset with a cocktail from the bar. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall we felt very satisfied with the room. Hotel Wifi didn't seem to be great so we reverted back to 4g data.

Particular shout out to Thomas on reception who was incredibly welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. He even organised a taxi to collect us on upon check out and take us to the port.

I would absolutely stay here again when we return to the beautiful island of Naxos.

We stayed at Porto Naxos for 9 nights and overall we were satisfied with our stay.
The hotel is in a good location near the beach and near the city centre of Naxos.
The room was clean. The main room looks like it was recently renovated and it was quite nice. The bathrooms are out of date and they are long due a renovation. There must also be an issue with the plumbing/drainage as the bathroom would often have a bit of smell.
The staff we encountered were very nice. Panos and the other receptionist were very friendly and professional. They were very helpful and courteous. The pool bar staff were also very nice and friendly.
Overall this was a very nice stay. We have been visiting Naxos for 7 years and we felt that we found a good hotel to return to. Unfortunately this was tainted by the behaviour of the hotel manager at our last day. Due to high winds, we couldn’t travel to Mykonos (our next destination). We asked them for a room overnight. At first they said they didn’t have one and we had to check out and they would call us later to confirm if they had a room. They expected some non shows as the winds would mean that anyone travelling by boat couldn’t arrive. We packed our bags and checked out and popped in to a few nearby hotels to check for availability in case our hotel couldn’t accommodate us. Some of these hotels offered us very good last minute rates for premium suites and normal rooms similar or even less to what we were paying. But then Panos called and said we could stay in the room we had after all and they would match the rate we were paying. We then returned and unpacked again for the day.
On check out they wanted us to pay 50% higher than the rate we had paid. We showed them evidence of our Expedia booking and the manager who was only on the phone and refused to come out to discuss was insisting that this was the price after Expedia discounts and not the rate we were paying. After lots of back and forth we just paid it and left. They just charged us their published rate and not the rate we had paid when booked. I feel stupid for not confirming with Panos on the time as if he had said the price then we would simply treat ourselves to a roof top suite to a hotel down the road for less than that. This left a very sour taste and I don’t think we will be returning anymore. For the sake of a few euros, they left a customer disappointed and feeling ripped off. This is not a way to treat customers who stayed for 9 nights.

We had a lovely time staying at Porto Naxos. It is a 10 minute walk to the main town which has lovely restaurants and artisanal shops to browse.

The hotel itself could do with a bit of a freshen up in terms of decor, but the building, gardens and pool are very nice.

The reception staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful and our room offered lovely views of the sunset.

There is a supermarket across the road, which is very helpful for buying water and essentials.

Thank you fir having us!!

The hotel is very close to town, to all bars and restaurants, and close to a nice beach, but it is also right in front of a very busy street. That means that you don't get to hear crickets and birds, but heavy traffic in all hours of the day, including in the night. Moreover, there are no measures whatsoever taken for COVID. No one in the breakfast area wears a mask, the trays with food are exposed, and generally pandemic is over for that hotel. Only the people in reception wear masks, but I assume it is for their own protection. The pool is nice, with many sunbeds. The breakfast area is really nice and open, overlooking the pool (the hotel has no sea view), and the girls at breakfast are super nice and accomodating. There are many options for breakfast, very few for vegans. The rooms are comfortable, with a small balcony, but they could be cleaner, and they are definitely NOT soundproof. There is also a super market right acroos the (busy) street, good for buying water and essentials. A good hotel, but not the best.

Great staff, good pool, the bartender (chrysostomosis) is awesome with very good coctails and service. The breakfest is very good but you need to pay for your espresso and Cappuccino, but filter coffee is free. The air conditioning is very good and the rooms nice. Nice location also with the beach close by.

We were really pleased with the location of the hotel. On the edge of the town, but only 5-10 minutes walk to the centre and town beach, meant that we were away from the bustle and noise of the main central area. There was noise from the fairly busy road outside, but that was minimal from inside our room and we often use earplugs to sleep anyway. There's a really good supermarket directly opposite, and a bus stop for Agios Prokopios beach is minutes away.

The room was spacious and bed really comfortable. It was well cleaned each day. The biggest disappointment was the balcony. It was smaller than anticipated, chairs weren't that comfortable and as it was so surrounded by overgrown tree branches then it didn't really have a view. So sadly we didn't really use it apart from for drying clothes.

Buffet breakfast was great with lots of tasty options. The pool area was really relaxing and pool great for a dip. Maybe it would have been improved if they'd varied the music playlist a bit - as hearing the same tracks on loop every few hours got quite tedious on a couple of days!

Staff were all really friendly and helpful.

We'd definitely stay here again and recommend it overall as a really great option.

This place is so great. First of all, the staff are amazing. Second, the hotel is very clean and rooms are beautiful. Finally, the location can’t be better if you want to be close to restaurants and a night out in town or a day on the beach. We will absolutely return as soon as possible.
