This is a late post. My husband and I stayed at the Grotta in April 2016. Grotta is a family run hotel managed by siblings and their mother cooks the most delicious food we had in Greece. As soon as we got off the ferry we were welcomed by Dimitri who was waiting for us with his car. Once we...

Our stay at Hotel Grotta was great! It's a family run hotel, the owners are really nice and they made sure that our stay was comfortable. The hotel sits on a cliff and overlooks the Temple of Apollo, which makes for a great view! The brunch selection is massive. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Athens, santorini, and naxos on our Greek vacation, and of all the hotels, this was the BEST! Nicoletta is the sweetest, kindest lady - there's just something about her that makes you feel comfortable. Maybe it's because she fed us immediately upon arrival - I don't know, but she's a very warm, friendly, helpful person, and staying...

What can I say about such an amazing place? Just thinking back to it brings tears to my eyes. From the friendly pickup/dropoff at the port, to the welcome with a snack and Papa's wine, to leaving more wine and a gift in our room for an anniversary present. Breakfast was out of this world, I've never seen a more...

This is a family place, and they treat you as if you're a much-respected, long-missed member of that family, only without the arguments. What's not to like--love--fall in love with? The hotel is modern, comfortable, clean, with a really fun pool in the basement that my daughter loves and a large, roomy common room, where people eat breakfast, sit, read,...

This hotel is newly renovated and has a wonderful view of the harbor and the Temple of Apollo. The rooms are comfortable, modern and very pretty. There is a pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Nicolette and her brother Dmitri were charming hosts; Dmitri picked us up at the ferry and gave us a brief history of Naxos and...

I stayed at this hotel with my husband for 3 nights in October and it was our first visit to Naxos. We were met on arriving at the hotel by Nikoletta, one of the owners, who made us feel like long lost friends. She is the kindest and warmest person I have ever met and I know I have made...

From the moment I arrived until I left I have never felt so comfortable. I arrived after 22 hours of travel and was welcomed at the ferry as promised at 12:00 am by the grascious driver from the Hotel Grotta, and I mean gracious as I do not know how to travel light, the driver and the sign he held...

Hotel Grotta is one of the most enjoyable hotels I've ever stayed at. Nikoleta, the manager, welcomed us with Greek pastries and drinks, and that was just the start of her top-notch hospitality. She gave expert advice on hiking, sightseeing, and beaches, and was very sweet to our young daughter. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and...
