Anoudos Hotel is a traditional hotel which is located only some steps away (30 meters) from the famous child-friendly Saint George Beach on Naxos Island. Naxos is the capital City of Naxos Island with a beautiful port promenade and a lot of good shopping facilities. The walking distance is only 5 min to Naxos town. In the Hotel you will receive a friendly, warm and familiar atmosphere. Always feeling like home under Maria’s (hotel owner) care and interest. Maria makes you feel as "friends" and not as customers.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Convenient location, close to the city center of Chora Naxos and the castle, 10min walk from the buses and the port as well. Very clean rooms with nice balcony and nice common terrace where you can enjoy during the day. The attention of the staff and the owner was also really good, she provided us with many recommendations about what to visit in the island. There is also a beach nearby and easy access to parking if you rent a car. Only the size of the Triple room with 3 single beds was a bit tight for 3 people. Maybe it's better to ask for availability for a room with one double and one single bed to have more space

Me and my sister spent 3 nights here and had a great stay! The hotel is not far from the port, so we were able to walk with our luggage from the ferry. It is out of the hustle-and-bustle of the main centre, but close enough with a couple of minutes walk getting you there. It is also down the road from the beach where you can get a decent meal or spend the day on the sand. Maria was wonderful, so welcoming and helped us with what to do in Naxos to make sure that our stay was the best that it could be.

Sanoudos hotel is a very nice small hotel very close to the beach and to all commodities you would need with the luxury of silence during the night. Maria the host is lovely and does everything to make you feel welcome. The rooms are nice and exceptionally clean. Breakfast is perfect also. This is a hotel that has everything you need for a very reasonable price. The day we come back to naxos we will stay here again.

We were swapped to this accommodation on the day we arrived here due to the other accommodation messing up our booking.
It honestly worked out for the better! It was a wonderful, clean and good location.
The breakfast was outstanding and the host was very attentive. We couldn’t have asked for any more!!
Would recommend to anyone as a first choice!

A complete scandal to call this a hotel! We have been to Naxos, one month at a time, for the past 10 years and have never stayed in a worse place than this. To begin with, "the mold/ or something else disgusting" in the room was so horrible that it went through the color of the walls. There was, when we arrived, no working fridge and the rooms have basically no view. Since Naxos sometimes is quite windy, a balcony placed in constant shade is completely unusable. The cleaning is under all criticism and during our 8 nights we were never given a proper cleaning, despite talking to the owner Maria. The bathroom lacks shower curtain and was very small. To make things even worse, the owner made a double transaction for the cost of the room and I would certainly not recommend you to use credit cards at this this accommodation.

We spent in Naxos 9 fantastic days also thanks to Maria's friendly and her hotel. The hotel is located in a strategic position so that you will be able to reach the bus station (the bus are so efficent in order to let the visitor able to reach many villages and beaches), the port, the "Paralia" (the sea-front) and the Kastro (the ancient town). Also Agias Georgios beach (the beach of the city) is very close like the Portara from which you can have a wonderful view of Chora. Maria is very friendly and when you arrive she is full of indications and smiles! She is such of guide in order to help you to understand which villages & beaches visit. She is full of attention in order to keep rooms clean and always ready to gives you replies of any your doubts. Also she prepares very good breakfast in her fresh garden. Enrica & me suggest very high Hotel Sanoudos because you will be not a host but a family member!

My fiancé and I stayed at Sanoudos in the beginning of August. It's a quaint little hotel maybe a 10-minute walk from the port. Of course, that didn't prevent us from getting lost. Apparently, the directions on Booking.com weren't the most accurate and we ended up looking for the place for almost an hour. We called Maria (the one-woman-team running the hotel, it seemed) and after she gave us directions, we easily found the place. She was quick to offer us a cold drink and was apologized profusely for the confusion. We cannot ask for a better host!

We got a room on the first floor overlooking the street. Very clean room and lots of towels. The bathroom was also clean and well-maintained. However, it appeared like the bathrooms in the building are all aligned in one column so that you can hear the conversations other guests are having from their own bathrooms. Not a big deal; just lots of potential awkward eavesdropping LOL The beds are okay; I'm not sure if they have a queen or king bed, but we got two twin beds pushed together so there was a gap in between. It wasn't horrible but my fiancé and I felt like we slept apart from each other. I would ask for ONE big bed in the future.

Overall, we still very happy with our stay. If you're looking for a budget hotel that won't compromise on cleanliness, check out Sanoudos Hotel. We didn't regret this stay!

Nice and clean rooms, with veranda for morning and afternoon coffe. Tasteful breakfast in a very social area. Quit location close to the beach. Best of all is Maria, the owner who wants the best for everyone!
