Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I could not recommend this hotel more! It is in a fantastic location by the castle, the rooms are new, clean and have a great view, they serve great breakfast, and the staff are extremely kind and accommodating!

My favorite area to stay in Naxos town is the Borgo, as the old town outside the Kastro is called since Venetian times. It means a lot of charm, but also several steps in often quite narrow alleys. This time my choice had been the hotel 'Panorama' with an entrance by a big bougainvillea. I had been in touch with Mrs Irene about my arrival and she offered me a welcome drink, after Mr. Dimitris had picked me up at the port, showed the way and helped me with the big suitcase. My room was No 113 with a window facing north and a view over a flat roof towards the sea as well as the mountains. Just next to it I could see hotel Anixis, where I had stayed back in 2007. Outside the room was a small communal terrace and from a big terrace on top of the hotel one has superb views in all directions. A breakfast is available in the basement as of 08.30, best booked in advance. Since I didn't use it I cannot comment on it. Room 113 with two beds next to each other is not very big, just right for me, but if coming again with my wife I would ask for the bigger rooms 104 or 109. In any case I had a good nights sleep on a comfortable mattress and with no noise. In the wardrobe there were many good wooden cloth hangers, not just a few thin plastic ones one often encounters. It also had a safe. The quite small bathroom had a good shower and free toiletries. On departure Mr. Dimitris again helped me with the suitcase all the way to the port.

First time visit to Naxos and picked Panorama Hotel based on other reviews and photos. I was not disappointed, such a cute hotel and location was great. It was very close to the Naxos port and lots of cute shops and restaurants/cafes. The view from our room was beautiful it looked down over the port town and out to the Aegean. Accommodations were nice and clean, hotel staff was very nice and friendly. Dimitris was so nice and helpful! I would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Naxos!

It was an absolutely faultless stay at the Panorama Hotel in Naxos. The communication already before arrival was great and being met at the port was certainly very much appreciated. The hotel is only about five minutes away from the seaside corso and two minutes away from the historical Venetian castle boosting the most amazing and large rooftop with stunning sunset views. But the best part was the lovely Irene and her husband who went out of their way to ensure the most perfect staying, including organizing a day trip around the main sights of the island. If I were ever to return to Naxos, would not even consider another place to stay.

Or ferry had delay. We finally arrived at the port. They waited for us with the “panoroma hotel” sign. He helped us with or bags. We were thankful for that other wise we would be lost in the old town. The welcome was warm he informed us about the important places we past. We felt welcome, he makes time for his guest/wishes. He is a warm, calm and friendly person. Or room was more than great! Amazing view, all the facilities (wifi - airco - fridge - hairdresser worked). We loved the bed and or shower. (Try the products we liked them). The cleaning was more than perfect. Try the breakfast aswell it’s so teasty! + Centrally in the old town Close to the ferry Close to the busstation Close to the beach Amazing breakfast in a cozy room Car renting Verry nice rooftop Laundry is possible Luggage storage Candy’s - We don’t recommend for older people a lot off stairs in the area off the old town. Nicolas thank you for everything! He gives us a lot of tips, advice, helped us during or stay… He maked or time in Naxos more than perfect! We have a greek friend more now 😁 Greetings the steph(f)anies

What a fantastic hotel in the historic old part of town. Fabulous views over the city and harbour from some rooms and the rooftop terrace. Marcos is a very genuine & welcoming host who made us feel right at home & put on a great spread for breakfast. Highly recommended!!

We just got back home after a fabulous holiday in Greece and writing my first review on this little gem. Marcos is the best host anyone could wish for. His recommendations on places to see and things to do are spot on. Specially the restaurants are the best if you want to taste Naxos. Must mention Marcos did not charge us for the day we couldn’t arrive due to ferry strike even though we have booked through bookings.com. He is a good hearted man. Was there to pick us from the port. Rooms are very clean and we enjoyed the walk up hill to the hotel through little boutiques. Walking distance to Portara where we enjoyed the sunset one evening. Old castle and the museum are next door. We liked the Very decent, yummy breakfast too.
