privileged location, sea views and super hosts create a unmatched offering which we enjoyed again and we wish to revisit next year(s). The visit to Chalki village proved this year’s discovery, I strongly recommend.
What a fantastic hotel in the historic old part of town. Fabulous views over the city and harbour from some rooms and the rooftop terrace. Marcos is a very genuine & welcoming host who made us feel right at home & put on a great spread for breakfast. Highly recommended!!
We just got back home after a fabulous holiday in Greece and writing my first review on this little gem. Marcos is the best host anyone could wish for. His recommendations on places to see and things to do are spot on. Specially the restaurants are the best if you want to taste Naxos. Must mention Marcos did not charge us for the day we couldn’t arrive due to ferry strike even though we have booked through bookings.com. He is a good hearted man. Was there to pick us from the port. Rooms are very clean and we enjoyed the walk up hill to the hotel through little boutiques. Walking distance to Portara where we enjoyed the sunset one evening. Old castle and the museum are next door. We liked the Very decent, yummy breakfast too.
Everything was absolutely perfect. The central location in the chora, the hospitality, the view from the rooftop, but most of all the comfort and look of the room: spotlessly clean, modern, stylish. The shower was great and I loved the toiletries provided, they smelt amazing! It felt like being in a 4 or 5 star hotel but at a fraction of the price. Even the restaurant that Marcos recommended was spot on, easy to find in the maze of the chora and super cheap with MASSIVE portions. Thank you, Marcos!
We returned to this hotel after 40 years and found its every bit as lovely as it was then - by pure coincidence even ended up in the same - much improved - room we stayed in originally. The hotel is welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. It is well maintained, spotlessly clean and our room was modernised in a sensitive way with air con. Other rooms appeared to be of the same high standard The hotel is on the northern side of the Chora and high up so it benefits from lovely views and the gentle breeze in even the hottest conditions. There is a roof terrace where you can survey the harbour - nice in the evening. While the hotel is out of the way, at the same time it’s literally three minutes walk to the main square. The challenge if you don’t know the Chora is to find that three minute route. The only thing I would mention is that, Panorama might not suit those who find it challenging climbing steps. …
