Fabulous location on the beach, with some stairs/access ramp. Great beach bar with reasonable food and drink. Sunbeds were free and it felt like the hotels own private beach. Rooms were dated with very little storage which was a bit frustrating but they are due a refurb this winter I believe. Please allow more storage!! Our superior balcony was immense with great sea views but a small room with one double bed. Staff are all fantastic with special shout out to Ephesus who mad the best coffee at breakfast. brilliant. Restaurants are a 15 minute walk away and easy taxi back. Pleny of choice in the village for eating. cetrainly would return here and would recommend as a chilled hotel with super sea views and plenty of spaces for guests to enjoy in the gardens and beach.

We have now holidayed on 13 Greek islands and Andros and the Aneroussa Hotel is the only place to which we have returned. After a 2 week holiday in 2022 we came back for 3 weeks and loved every minute of it! The hotel has changed ownership since last year but there were still a couple of familiar faces. Not too much had changed, there have been new sunbeds and parasols on the beach and new comfy seating to the side of the beach bar. The beach has retained its Blue Flag status for another year and rightly so, it is a safe sandy bay which is wonderful for swimming. The sun loungers were free for residents and could be reserved on request. We never had a problem finding somewhere to sit, however it may become busy in the high season as it is a public beach. We had a different room this year on the top floor, dual aspect, with a massive terrace plus another small balcony. It was wonderful with comfy sun loungers and bistro set on the main terrace and another table and chairs on the other. I would think that every room here has good sea and sunset views. We were well looked after by all the staff from Breakfast to Reception to the boys in the Beach Bar. Orpheus had even converted us to coffee at breakfast by the end of the holiday. Most people sat outside to eat breakfast; the wasps were annoying some mornings, but it is possible to sit inside too. We enjoyed the 20 min walk into Batsi for dinner (take some comfortable shoes), however there is also a good little Taverna 5 mins downhill from the hotel which is set right on the beach. Sunsets and the night sky are amazing; although the road back to the hotel has lights we did find a torch useful. Efi, the General Manager, and Alkis, the Front Office Manager were both extremely helpful assisting with travel to and from the hotel. In 2022 we travelled with Sunvil and this year made arrangements ourselves with the help of Efi and Alkis – very much appreciated. This is a very well maintained friendly, small hotel in a lovely location and we would very much like to return.

Great view, kind staff, delicious breakfast and very good coffee. The best place to unwind after a year in London. The beach has been upgraded since the previous years with new infrastructure and this upgrade can be seen in the fact that it is the only beach on the island with a blue flag.

My room's balcony had an absolutely beautiful view of the vast sea. Waking up to this view always got me in the right mood for the day! Not to mention the sunsets around 8pm! The breakfast was varied and tasty, no complaints! The bar makes excellent cocktails, try the Aperol Spritz! The staff (both upstairs at the hotel and downstairs at the beach bar) were all extremely warm, helpful, and pleasant to interact with. Thank you Efi, Alkis, Vassilis, Orfeas, and Venetia (I've likely forgotten a few names). Speaking of the beach bar downstairs, it's got a great and reasonably priced selection of food and drinks. I'd recommend the club sandwich and the freddo espresso as an afternoon combo. The beach is beautiful, clean, while the background music definitely has that Greek summer vibe. Importantly, I noticed there's also an accessibility ramp to get to the beach, and the hotel is serious about recycling. Kudos! Totally recommended! Next time I'm in Andros, I know where I'm staying.

Wow where to start! The team are welcoming and so lovely! The whole place is immaculately clean! The rooms have beautiful views! The breakfast is super, served outside with the best barrista coffee! And the best Greek yogurt that's like cream! The beach feels private with service for lunch and drinks to your lounger from the beach bar! The hotel bar is tiny but so cosy and we'll stocked. The Hotel is a 15 min walk to Batsi which makes it accessible but peaceful. **please note for the cat lovers amongst us there is a feeding station half way to Batsi please leave some water or food it you can! You can buy dry cat food at Batsi Supermarket for a couple of euros! The whole team are fantastic.. Friendly, kind, professional and they cannot do enough for you. We rarely go back.. But here is 1 of only 5 hotels we would return too. We loved our time there so much that even though we were off to another island I was so so sad to leave. It felt classy, quiet, refined and cosmopolitan all at the same time. A total gem. Thank you guys We look forward to seeing you again.

We loved our stay at Aneroussa and Batsi. Efi and the team are so lovely and really made our stay. They were all so helpful and hard-working. The location is gorgeous, with stunning views from all the rooms and a beautiful little beach with a hotel bar. Had one of the best massages ever at the hotel spa. We went for lunch at Agia Marina restaurant 5 mins walk away most days and would definitely recommend that. Batsi itself is a really easy and nice 15 mins walk away - our best dinners there were at Oti Kalo and Mastello, and we loved Al's bar for cocktails.

Lovely place, beautiful architecture and friendly staff. The sandy beach is a plus, since few hotels at the island have one. It's a great place for either family or solo travel for relaxation and rejuvanation.
