Very well looked after on our recent overnight stay! A lovely welcome from Senninha who put us right at ease considering it was our first trip to a hotel in Covid times...
The hotel was lovely and clean. It was very reassuring to see a sanitisation station as we entered, a sanitisation station in the elevator and sanitisation seals on all the bedrooms.
Our room was bright, airy, clean, with very comfortable beds and more than spacious enough for our family of 5. We were even able to accommodate a wheelchair with ease (which we had not informed the hotel we would be bringing) within the room.
A request for additional pillows was dealt with very swiftly and promptly considering it was late when we came back from our evening out.
For breakfast we were warmly greeted in the dining room by the bright and cheerful restaurant manager Carol who looked after us with a wonderful air of service and fun as she took our quirky breakfast orders... one daughter didn’t want anything from the hot food menu but had 3 different cereals!
Carol was engaging, chatty, and made us feel relaxed and comfortable in the dining area which was very well spaced out and clean with ongoing cleaning throughout breakfast service.
On checking out we again had the pleasure of being looked after by Senninha to whom we complimented the levels being taken to ensure cleanliness and reassurance were being met.
We as a family will use this hotel again.

Just back from a four night stay here. Really can't find any fault with our stay. Exceptional value for money, €465 for two rooms for four nights with one dinner and breakfast each morning.
Check in and check out was simple, our interconnecting rooms were spotless and kids loved having their own space.
Staff in the restaurant were amazing, food was lovely with a great selection.
Location was perfect, 30 mins to Dublin zoo and tayto park and only 15 mins into Dublin on the Luas. Aldi right on door step and great restaurants/takeaways across the road. We'll definitely stay here next time we're in Dublin.

I stayed in the hotel over the bank holiday weekend. I emailed in advance to advise it was my boyfriends birthday, Georgiana-Maria from the reception team emailed back advising she would allocate a nice room for our stay.

We were given a really spacious superior room on the second floor. The room was spotless with a sticker on the door showing the room had been sanitized and cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. When we entered the room there was a cake and a happy birthday card Which was a really nice touch from the hotel.

We did not eat in the bar so I cannot comment on the food or drinks however overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed on Saturday night 11 July before a trip to Tayto Park. It was our first trip away since lockdown and we were slightly nervous. From the moment we arrived until we checked out we felt safe and the staff were amazing. Senninha looked after us on reception and Keith served us in the restaurant for dinner, he was friendly, attentive and made us feel at ease. There were hand sanitizers everywhere and all staff wore masks which I’m sure were not comfortable. The bar closed at 9pm but there is nothing the hotel can do about that. Breakfast was different to the normal buffet style, Kabir served us for breakfast and he brought the buffer to us. Again nothing was too much trouble for him he was back and forth to our table as the kids were hungry! The rooms were also spotless. Great value for money excellent staff and we will definitely staff again. Well done to everyone!

First of all I have to say the Irish people are the most friendliest and nicest people I have met and this was reflected 100% in the staff here who were kind courteous and professional throughout my stay especially Kieth working in the Bar/Restaurant who was very friendly, chatty & made me feel welcome every time I walked in. The hotel itself was clean modern and comfortable, the food was a reduced menu due to COVID for my first week stay but by the second week the menu had expanded to a tasty and appetising selection of dishes. If I was to give one area of improvement it would be to adjust the dampers on the room self closing door mechanism, as most of the room doors started banging shut from the early hours, I was up fairly early but I could imagine other guests having a later lie-in may be woken by this. But why dwell on a negative when you have a great hotel with very friendly staff and great food. Thank you for making my two week stay with work comfortable & COVID safe.

We had a meal - fòod and service were very good - the fòod was served promptly and the waitress was very attentive - we shall be returning again and will recommend this place to others. All of the tables are socially distanced and all of the staff are wearing masks. Noone is allowed to sit at the bar and the toilets are kept to a very high standard. You will feel very safe and comfortable after spending time in this hotel which is located in the very convenient area of Newlands Cross. The car park is free and you can always get a space. You will be sure of a warm welcome everytime.

I stay a few nights a week most weeks, check in staff are always smartly presented, polite and super friendly. Checking in is very quick even when its busy. The bar is very well staffed and on hand for anything you need, Terry in particular is making sure your happy and that you have everything as well as checks from the serving staff. Really great selection on the menu particularly since the menu change, great improvement. Rooms are nice and clean and if you are cold you can ring reception and they will boost the heating for you which is great as I like a warm room! Only change I would make would be the possibility of a daily food special just to have something different as an option.

We booked into this hotel for two nights for two adults and three kids. Check in was quick however, when we entered our room the beds didn't look to be made up to the hotel standard I smelled the pillow it was dirty, I looked around and I could see pizza boxes under the dressing table, I then went into the bathroom and the bath was full of dirty towels, we clearly had been giving a room that had not been cleaned! My husband went back to reception and complain, the lady was very apologetic. I just think that this should not have happened especially during Covid 19. We got a new CLEANED room which was very nice. The next morning we went for breakfast however the lady told us we should have booked a table unfortunately we had not been told this at check in. This hotel is a clean hotel and the actual breakfast is very good I just think there is a lack of communication between staff but I do understand they are under pressure at this time.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. Sincerely, Shane

We stayed here following a trip to Dublin Zoo, our package included bed, breakfast and a 2 course evening meal for us and 2 kids. I honestly wasn’t expecting much as we got a really good deal but I would definitely return to this hotel. Check in was completed online in advance so on arrival we collected our keys and headed to the room. It was bright and clean and perfect for a family of 4. As dinner was included we headed to the bar, all staff were friendly however the service was quite slow. We waited quite a while to have a drinks order taken and for items ordered to be delivered. The food itself was quite basic but again for what we paid I couldn’t complain. Breakfast the next morning was great, due to COVID it was table service and the food was hot and tasty. The hotel is located just off the motorway and has an Aldi across the road and a few other shops / takeaways nearby.

Out of my many stays in Dublin during the last 10 years, this year I found the New Maldron Hotel a very accomodating hotel for our needs.

Checking in was quick, efficient and informative. The room was clean, fresh and quiet (despite it being half term and full of holidaymakers).

Our buffett breakfast was tasty freshly cooked and the variety was good. Some of the seating was booth style which I personally thought made the surroundings quite dark and enclosed, it does provide privacy but it darkens the view.

There is parking, but you do need to find a space as it is quite crowded, there is CCTV and gates at the entrance. The N7 trunk road passes nearby but we did not hear any noise. There is an Aldi opposit if you miss your breakfast.

A very comfortable and convenient stay at a good price.

Thank you for your hospitality, we will be returning.
