This hotel is quite good, ideal for stays in the city of Avellino, being positioned quite centrally, so even without a car it´s reachable. If you have a car, its huge advantage is its covered underground parking. I was suprised by a very nice room, which was recently restructured (and I noticed that rooms are being restructured) and was very... More

We had a lovely stay in this clean and convenient hotel right in the heart of Avellino. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful--making calls on our behalf because our Italian was not very good.

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. My husband's grandparents were both from Avellino and we wanted to experience the town. The green areas are beautiful. Even though we spoke no Italian and the residents spoke little English, with the help of my translator app on my Ipad and the graciousness of the people, we got along just... More

I had to spend a few days in Avellino and I am very grateful that I found this nice hotel. The staff are really charming and helpful. The room, though not the biggest in the hotel, was very very comfortable, the bed perfect and also the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was nice. I also had dinner in the restaurant,... More

Wonderful find after a day's cycling. Lovely ensuite room with a fabulous shower. Very helpful staff. The restaurant was operated separately and the food and service was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Superb value!

The Viva has a great location. A very short walk to buses to Naples (one hour) and Rome (three hours) and next to a small supermarket. The staff speaks English and are friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is nice and the food decent but watch out if you order the buffalo mozzarella for an appetizer! It's gigantic and you'd better... More

I booked through Expedia and stayed for 2 nights. Staff was friendly and professional. I was given room 114 and the bathroom was clean to the point that you can eat off the floor. The only thing I would change is the window curtains, it looks like a shower curtain but that's just me. Overall, I would definitely book again.

Our stay at the Viva Hotel was excellent. All the staff were amazing and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant and cafe are exceptional. Close to shopping precinct, cafes, restaurants and the bus terminal. There is a park across the road from the hotel as well. Loved it 😊. Highly recommend it.

If you happen to visit Avellino by bus, this hotel is virtually 100 meters away. It has a steep flight of stairs to the reception and no one speaks much English. I didn't try the restaurant as there were very large TVs which we blaring out the evening news. The room was OK and the air-conditioning very efficient. The bathroom... More
