We booked this hotel at very short notice, to escape the noise and bustle of Naples and chose a Junior Suite with Sea View and Balcony. We got a taxi from the ferry port to the hotel because we didn't know Forio. But in fact, it is a 10 to 15-minute walk from the ferry port if you walk along...

If you are looking to go for an Italian holiday away from the main cities and wanting to get the feel of the Italian way of life, the small island of Ischia could be for you! It is a short ferry ride from the port of Naples (about an hour). We booked a cute hotel, Nettuno, which is on the...

I know it is Italy. I travel with my own wine opener. But to return to my room where the small wine bottle and only beer in the mini bar were not restocked was sad. There were 2 plastic cups the day I arrived and, well they were not restocked either. Ice doesn't exist. It took 30 minutes to get...

We booked 3 nights requesting a room with a view and we weren't disappointed. Everything was so nice, we would recommend this hotel to anyone. It can be reached by hugging the coast from the ferry terminal or better still by walking up into the center of the town (which is one lovely street only!) and turning right. The hotel...

Very nice hotel close to the ferry stop Forio, from Naples. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the hotel? Room was very nice. The roof top was an excellent place to catch the sunset in the evening! Breakfast was wonderful! Everything home made! Was convienent to restaurants and store. We took the bus (#1) to San Angelo and then a...

Chose this hotel due to its proximity to Forio center and the good reviews on Expedia. Rooms were generally as promised and the spa facilities seemed nice even though we didn't get to use them. We were happy with the location and the staff was friendly though some of the receptionists did not speak English which might present a problem...

We stayed at Hotel Nettuno for 4 nights. It's pleasant, fairly basic but clean and well appointed. The first night was in a double room and the last three, in a junior suite. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. The beds were surprisingly comfortable (as I find beds in Italian hotels to be a bit hard). As mentioned, the location...

The hotel is OK, but nothing particular and it does not have a holiday feeling at all. The breakfast room is inside even though the hotel is close to the sea. It would have been much better to serve breakfast in the terrace. The staff was friendly and the rooms clean. However they were small and the view was not...

We booked this hotel near the port at the last minute in order to escape the mosquitoes further inland. We wish we had booked it for our entire stay! Beautiful marble finishes, a great balcony with sun loungers though not at the front of the hotel and a lovely air-conditioned room with en-suite. However, the real attraction was the vast...

The hotel is situated at one end of Forio, allowing one to wander into the streets lined with shops, cafés and restaurants or stay put and enjoy the view of the azure sea. The hotel is tastefully decorated, modern and clean. The cleaners are discrete so the room appears cleaned as though by elves in your absence! The continental breakfast...
