Situated within a short ride from city of Levanto however without the hustle and bustle of cinque terre and the crowds visiting it every day is a perfect place to stay as it is a calm hotel with very friendly and helpful hosts. The restaurant serves magnificent food in the evenings focusing on local product as well as some Italian...

The hotel is recommendable. New and close (by car only unfortunately) to Levanto. Very friendly welcoming and the in-house restaurant was (a bit too) expensive but we enjoyed nevertheless. Breakfast was for me great, not too big but offering fresh produce. Great coffee. Only minus was that the aircon did not work for 2 nights. Altogether a positive experience and...

Pros: - Away from the maddening crowds that Cinque Terre has become inflicted by - sadly. - Fairly quiet as the double glazing keeps the road noise away. - Personable and efficient staff, who know what they're doing and are helpful. - super excellent restaurant next door but be warned - it's a gourmet place and it's expensive! - acceptable...

We stayed here for 3 nights using it as a base for Cinque Terre. The hotel itself was perfect. Very well maintained, beautiful decor and lovely staff. Just a few minutes drive to the train station and so much easier than watching the poor people who decided to stay in one of the towns and drag their bags through trains...

I am a year late writing this review but not because we didn't love the hotel. Rooms were excellent and the food was awesome. Short drive to the train station and easy access to Cinque Terra. The best part however was the helpfulness of the owners. We'd had a minor accident in our rental car prior to arriving and were...

Conveniently located 10 minutes from Levanto train station, 4 minutes to Cinque Terra via train. We had a great experience. Rooms were spacious clean and modern. Sonia was extremely helpful at check-in and when we left a personal item at the hotel after we checked out. She is shipping this item to us. Very accommodating and helpful. Both Sonia and...

We spent 2 nights at Abetaia in September 2015 as a base of operations for seeing the Cinque Terre. It has a lovely location in the woods well outside of town. It felt quiet and safe. The staff was very friendly and spoke English for us which made us feel very welcome. Our room was a Junior Double Suite. It...

We can only agree with the great reviews on this quality hotel at very reasonable rates of charge. The rooms and service are top class. One of the best breakfasts of our 8 week tour. A little out of Levanto in a peaceful setting. Cinque Tere was disappointing with so many tourists but visits to Portteverre by boat and a...

Hotel Abetaia is the perfect stay for a base at Cinque Terre. The peaceful surroundings of the mountains and the warm friendly service of this boutique hotel are what makes this stay wonderful. Our room was extremely comfortable and clean and my children had their own beds, which was a nice break from the regular small sofa beds. Breakfast was...

Beautiful hotel just outside of Cinque Terre and downtown Levanto. The scenery is lush forest and a crystal clear creek on the side of the property. We loved the reception area which is a multi-purposed room for check in, breakfast and an incredible dinner restaurant. The food, prepared by the wife of this family owned B & B, was some...
