Bosco Selva camping and village is a comfortable (3 star), 11.000 sqm campsite situated in a lush pine and oak forest which offers its guests a refreshing shady respite in the hot days of summer. It is located about half a mile (800 m.) from the famous trulli zone of Alberobello – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Camping Bosco Selva is a wonderfully relaxing place to spend some time due to the welcoming and peaceful atmosphere there which is also thanks to the professionalism of the hands-on owners. The owners, along with the rest of the staff, strive each day to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay, by maintaining everything in perfect working order. An environment that has, in its love for nature, for tranquility, for safety, and for cleanliness, the winning formula. Camping Bosco Selva has assigned pitches which are in a tree-covered area.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This site is very very handy for the fabulous town of Alberobello, a UNESCO world heritage site comprising thousands of stone ‘trulli’ houses - you can walk in, in 20’.
But as the pitches are unmarked and amongst the many trees of a pine forest, (legitimate) random parking by other campers precludes others from finding anywhere accessible/suitable to pitch. Very old fashioned camping, which is not without charm, but oddly only 2 std + 1 ‘stand up’ toilets for women, even tho 6 showers and 4 ‘foot washing basins’. Curious!

It was very cold when we stayed at this campsite, and there had been snow on the mountains the previous night after we travelled from Paestum. We had a very warm reception on the site and all the staff were welcoming & friendly. Although the site didn't seem to be listed under ACSI, we were offered the low season discount. The setting was very rural and the walk into Alberobello was straightforward ... we particularly liked the friendly Jays and it was good to hear the Scops Owls & Woodpeckers. Even at this time of year there were several people camping, but the site is more geared towards summer business. The toilet blocks were not heated and the water was not consistently hot. The open-sided dishwashing facility was difficult in the cold weather and there was no hot water. I appreciate the risk of freezing pipes in the winter, but 'all-year' sites should maintain some of the basic elements, however limited they are. At this time of year, the bar & shop were also closed. I'm sure that the campsite is wonderful in warm weather and during the summer months, but there are a few things that need addressing for winter visitors. None of these disappointments would put us off going again, as we're used to travelling out of season.

One of the best campings we have visited. Large trees, amazing facilities and crystal cleanliness. Anna's hospitality is the best we've met all these years of traveling. Hosts always smiling and are always willing to help. The location of the camping amazing. A 20-minute walk and you are in the center of Alberobello. The campsite also has rooms very well equipped and clean.

This campsite is just outside the town and is an easy walk in . The pitches are amongst the trees and you pick your own space. After some recent crowded and grubby sites down at Amalfi COAST it was a pleasure find this chilled out quiet place.
We stayed with our motor home and we were able to spread out a bit , awning out , hammock out , furniture out , perfect. when you consider its one a few euros more per night than the camper park in town where you can't even take a chair out.
lovely clean toilets and shower block .
perfect.

We were on this campsite for 7 nights, because we wanted to cycle in the valley, and we were very satisfied about our stay. Small campsite, a lot of trees and shade, simple but efficient services and friendly staff. The campsite is situated next to a tennis court (with bar/restaurant) just outside (beautiful but very touristic) Alberobello. 5 to 10 minutes by bike( all the way down; back up takes longer😊). There are cycling itineraries in the vicinity, but the starting points are not easy to find once you’re in a village or town. The tourist information centre in Alberobello could help us out, the one in Locorotondo could not. But it is beautiful cycling amongst old olive trees, vines and trulli.
A drive by car to the beach in Monopoli took us 45 minutes, to Ostuni a bit longer.
In summary: nice small campsite in the beautiful Valle d’Istria, ideal place to visit the surrounding area.

After some bad expériences with Italien campings (expensive, dirty, no notion of English) this camping made up for the rest. The perfect base for a visit to Alberobello! You get what you pay for! Chapeau!

Really nice quiet campsite with free wifi and really good bathroom facilities. The lady at the front desk was kind and very helpful. She could understand English well and informed us that alberobello has a beer and pizza festival. Winning!! It's only a short walk down to see the trulli to

This is a great small camp about 1 km walking from the unescorted trulli area of town.
Lost of trees and shade and a friend host who speaks good English
The trulli area of alberobello is very pretty - it is a nice town in that part
We throughly recommend both the trulli village and camping biscotti selva

Unmarked pitches, some hidden in overgrown grass. Very hot showers but water for washing dishes was cold! We rode bikes to trulli which took about 5 minutes (no bike lane). Of note, this campground is near gorgeous forrest park w/ walking trails. Free wifi available at bar only. Very friendly staff!

Very rough roads south from Bari. Easy to find site, lovely welcome, pitch anywhere you can reach electric points, but grass was so long you automatically looked at where other outfits had been. Didn't use the loos but they looked clean. Great to be able to walk to Alberobello within 15 minutes. Magical place!!
