The whole experience was incredible! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. They have an insuite hot tub available for a fee. I skipped it because it was out of the budget but I would consider it if I had more time to enjoy it. I went solo but this would be a wonderful romantic get away. It is in the middle of the Trulli area in Alberobello, that being said you are not allowed to bring your car into the area. They have paid and free parking about a 2-5 minute walk from the house depending where you park.

We enjoyed very much the amazing trullo in Alberobello centro , it was very clean cosy and warm. Thank you Stella for being so efficient , friendly and welcoming and also for recommending us an excellent restaurant in Locorotondo ‘u curdunn ‘ which was also amazing . We enjoyed our stay very much visiting the Christmas lights . I highly recommend truly antichi mestieri and wish them well .

This trulli is situated about a 2 minute walk from the centre of Alberobello. The alley is impassable for traffic so very quiet so one needs to park the car in the nearby parking area a few minutes walk away.
The place was very clean and we had access to a pool if wanted about a 15 minute walk away. My only negative comments would be that the mattress was a little lumpy and it would have been nice if coffee and tea had been provided as had been in other places we stayed.

Room Tip: The trulli get a litte chilly a night as the walls are so thick and have little natural light.

Be very aware of this place! What you get is not what you have booked! I had a reservation for Trulli Antichi Mestieri on Booking.com, on that day before my arrival, the owner sent me messages through Whatsapp and informed me the address to stay (Via duca d'aosta 15), Which was very different with the address they claimed in my reservation which I have already saved on Google map which I was heading for (Via monte san gabridle 1). I checked the google map, they were two different properties and looked totally different. I have been travelling for over 30 years, it was first time I experienced something like this. I asked them why the address was different, they ignored me for a while and then sent me an advertisement for the opening of their spa (charges 100euros). I had to ask again, then they turned to be very aggressive, said “that is reception, do you want to sleep in reception?” then they charged my credit card which according to the reservation I should pay at the property. A very uncivilized behavior.

I didn't know what to do, so I had to find a stop on highway and called Booking.com calling center. I told everything and also said although I wasn't feeling very comfortable, but if I couldn't get my refund, I would go to stay in that property because it was 90.67 euros after all. Booking.com contacted the property and then informed me with an email after 45 minutes that Booking.com had cancelled my reservation for free, without charge and asked me to find another property. So in the end I didn't stay in Trulli Antichi Mestieri.
Booking.com informed me that I would get the refund within 15 business days. I waited patiently for 15 business days. Then they told me that the property refused to refund. Francesca from the property once contacted to me, but then just totally disappeared. They simply just ignore me.

The whole thing is just so ridiculous, a property can actually do whatever they want without any ethic.

I did some research on Trulli Antichi mestieri's reviews on booking, yes, they have a high score, that was why I booked them, but I also found out they have been doing things not properly from low score comments.

Basicly they have some different properties with different styles in different locations, can be out of Trulli historic zone. They give rooms to the guest according to their availability, so what you get totally depends on your luck. Before booking it, I compared a lot of properties, I booked that room based on the pics, but in the end all the works turned out to be wasted and became a nightmare.

We should get what we pay for. Why so difficult to understand? When they buy a cloth, the seller gives them another piece, they can happily accept that? Can you?

Dealing with them is like dealing with people who are not civilised yet.

I did not get the trullo I booked. I queried it with the girl doing the check in and I was told it was what I had booked. We then unpacked and by the time I realised that it was not the trullo I had booked I did not complain as I did not wish to re pack and move again at that point. The trullo was beautiful inside but did not have the characteristic exterior which would have given me the trullo experience I had looked forward to for many years. There was a cone roof but you had to look hard to see it (see photo). It was on a street where I could park outside (it was in Via Bligny). Unlike the trullo I had booked it was not in the historic centre - either the Rione Monti district or the Rione Aia Piccola.  We had to drive to breakfast and the breakfast was fairly uninspired, so we gave it a miss on the second morning and had a coffee and croissant in a cafe' in the centre.  A 10 am check out is too early if you are going to have to drive to breakfast.  There are plenty of characteristic, attractive trulli in the historic centre that are available for short term rental so next time I would book directly with these rather than going through an agency with lots of properties in variable locations. I appreciate that the trullo is characteristic but the stairs are very hazardous. I nearly fell from the top as the first step comes sooner than you would expect. Thankfully I caught my arm on the bannister otherwise I would have gone head first down the stairs from the top. My husband tripped at the bottom. I do not like the way this company does business.  Although they were attentive once we had arrived, I did not like their initial contact.  On the positive side the trullo we got was extremely well equipped and very comfortable.  It was attractively decorated and it was very spacious inside and thoughtfully renovated.

Excellent location. Very nice Trulli right in the heart of Alberobello.

Comfortable room with good powered shower

Surrounded by shops, bars & restaurants.
Convenient parking round the corner from where we stayed for a small fee.

Breakfast was at the hotel which is a bit of a walk away or can drive to it. It is typical Italian breakfast.
Alberobello is a beautiful place to visit.

Great place to stay in Alberobello. Trulli was very well located (middle of the old city), clean, cozy, comfortable. It also had a small private terrace which offered a panoramic view. A truly unique experience.
The host was very nice, friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend it! 😊😊

Great renovation with modern conveniences in an ancient stone house. Wonderful outside deck. Comfortable beds. Once the tourists leave its very quiet. We didn’t get breakfast- our choice - and the coffee and baked goods a bock away at Martinucci were outstanding. We stayed two nights and wished for more.

We stayed at this trullo for two nights and were surprised how spacious it was! Authentic details inside and the shower and sink were in built to the wall of the trullo itself which was lovely.
It is right in the centre of the tourist area so can be noisy when people walk around outside and there was construction at the top of the street which started quite early in the morning.
Breakfast was either served in the room or you can drive to the main office area 5 mins away- we chose the latter both days and enjoyed the options at the breakfast buffet.
Parking is just down the street for 6 euros per day but beware on a Thursday there is a market in town and the only car park that isn’t blocked is the further away from the town (not far but there are two side by side).
There are two types of plugs in Puglia so remember to bring both as the standard European ones don’t work in the area.

An enjoyable experience in a Trullo and La Corte Dell’Astore were great- very helpful and accommodating.

If you visit Alberobello, you must experience staying in the best trulli. Totally recommend. We enjoyed our trulli, it was comfy and unique in its own way. The location was perfect and we felt really welcomed.
