Our family stayed in one of the two bedroom Trulli suites, complete with a kitchen and dining area, bathroom, and a cute little patio. The accommodations were very clean and well stocked. There is a great complimentary breakfast served at the wine bar around the corner. The accommodations are perfectly situated in the historic area. All of the staff at Trulli e Puglia were wonderful and very helpful! We felt very well taken care of during our stay. We really enjoyed having the wine bar around the corner, as it was great for breakfast, and also for cocktails/wine and snacks. Mimmo and the staff at the wine bar are awesome! We definitely recommend Trulli e Puglia!

Must do. If you are looking for the real experience, you can’t miss this opportunity. The host will make you feel at home and you will be immersed in the UNESCO historical centre. It feels surreal. Look for Mimmo who will give you all the tips for a great visit to the city

Great location as the accommodation is a trulli house. Set up as a self catering unit. Clean and tidy, we had a patio area at the back too. Breakfast in the wine bar area, good, plenty to eat, nice staff. Also had a fun wine tasting with the owners, would recommend.

Alberobello is magical and staying in a trullo is a privilege for the lucky few who can get to this town and stay overnight. Trulli e Puglia B&B is in a great location, but any location is good. We texted reception when we arrived and they directed us where to park and sent someone to help with our luggage. It was a couple blocks' walk. I was pleased to hear that we were "upgraded." We were escorted to our trullo near the reception office and given an extremely quick orientation. The young man was out the door in a flash. I was surprised to find a full kitchen, large dining table, and a ladder leading to a loft with two extra beds. The space was plain but fine. I was underwhelmed.

Soon I realized what we were missing: the conical ceiling of a trullo! And the circular walls of a round building. Ours was a square room with a curved ceiling and lacked any and all feel of a trullo. I didn't even take any photos; it just wasn't cute or charming. Outside I realized that, although other rooms had conical roofs, ours was just an extension. Inside: totally ordinary. Characterless.

The "upgrade" must have meant the addition of the kitchen and loft. For us, it was a serious downgrade.

It was too much trouble to pack up and try to get a real trullo. It would have taken precious time. Although the room was disappointing, you can't spoil Alberobello. We had a great time exploring, and I write this to forewarn others to check their rooms before settling in.

Mimmo’s effervescent, warm and welcoming personality is reflected in his young staff; Mariana, Antonella, Stella. We were made to feel so welcome and their energy, joy and sense of fun was so infectious that we were immediately swept up in the cheerful mood. They offer genuine hospitality at its best. Nothing was too much trouble; picking us up from the train station, finding train times, places to visit, restaurant recommendations. When the train strike prevented us from getting to Grotte di Castellano, Mimmo took us himself. The wine and liqueur tasting combined with tasting of various ‘tarallini’ with ‘marmalades’ was a perfect introduction and lots of fun. The trulli are delightful and interesting from the outside. Inside our suite,Grazia, was fascinating, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. A very comfortable king bed and quiet streets made for a perfect sleep. Grazia is virtually an apartment with 2 double rooms, living/kitchen, bathroom and outside terrace. The white washed walls and white stone floors (heated in winter!) are contrasted with the wooden furniture for an aesthetically pleasing result. It is very different, functional and a most worthwhile experience. A very good Continental breakfast (great croissants) complete with cappuccinos is served in Mimmo’s brother’s bar a few steps from our front door. Mimmo’s English is very good and he is most informative about the area and lifestyle. On his recommendation we had a wonderful dinner at La Cantina and lunch at La Fontana 1914. Alberobello is easy access by train to Locorotunda, Martina Franca and Grotte di Castellano – all worth a visit. The highlight of the 5 days was the cooking lesson in our trulli from Mimmo’s mother, Cosima. Even with our very limited Italian, we were able to take part and learn. Afterwards we feasted on the prepared food; bread, focaccia, pasta, meat and wine while we enjoyed Mimmo’s entertaining company. A great experience! The Alberolbello area, though touristy, is unusual and well worth a visit. Mimmo’s trullis are definitely the place to stay is you want to experience first class hospitality with flair.

Alberobello is a very touristy town with all entails. If you are really interested in experiencing a stay in a Trulli then this town has many options. A Trulli is a bit dark and you need to be certain your Trulli has good ventilation. The unit we had came with a kitchen and an extra loft for a child. It was nicely decorated and well maintained. Breakfast was two doors down int eh little Trulli bar at the corner. Antonella and Alma looked after all our needs and were very helpful. We were travelling late in the season and had other hotels that were offering great deals so we found this Trulli to be a little expensive.

The rooms are distributed around Trulli near the hotel reception and breakfast is served in the shop adjacent to the reception. The Trulli whare you stay are amazing and very well presented inside. Ours had a kitchenette with cooking equipment but there are many restaurants close by.
Breakfast was very good with a good selection and as usual amazing coffee.

Improvements would have been some tea/coffee sachets in the room. Also it appeared the hot water was shared with adjacent Trulli giving insufficient hot water for the shower.

We had a 2 room authentic cottage for 2 nights. It was a great experience to stay in an authentic hut that family’s once lived in. Had all mod cons incl a small kitchenette and fridge etc. Very helpful people at reception which is a short walk from the accommodation. Beds could have been more comfortable. Very clean. Quiet. Good location. Nice buffet breakfast and great coffee.

The accomodation was exactly what we expected 😀. Clean, nice, big enough. We didn't stay long for breakfast but we did enjoy the wine bar. The reception staff was really helpful with ordering a cab to the train station.
We really enjoyed the stay.
