Unique moments of relax Arrived at the Bed & Breakfast La Rosa dei Trulli you will be pleasantly surprised by the scents and by the colors. The white stone of the trullli is in contrast to the lush green of the garden and the blue pastel of the sky. The large square in front of the residences offers a splendid panorama view over the town of Alberobello and over the surrounding countryside.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing B & B, perfect in every sense. Staff were amazing and the amenities were fabulous. Breakfast was great with lots of choices in the apartment. Right on the main road so easy to find and only a 2 minute drive to the Centre of Alberobello. Highly, highly recommended.

Beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect. Totally relaxing and very comfortable bed. Don’t miss staying at this gem. Delicious breakfast, and nothing was too much trouble. Easy journey into Alberobello. We loved every minute of our stay here.

I can only give positive description about the place. Very authentic, small but cosy. Fridge was full of yoghurts, butter, milk and juices, baskets full of buiscuits and toast. Fresh croissant was delivered to the door every morning. A garden with olive trees and lush plants was perfect to sit out with a drink or two. Owner proved to be very helpful in finding and reserving restaurants for us every night. Take his advice. Nothing can be reached on foot, so be prepared to use the car. A very special place to stay at.

Response from Ekaterina Matarrese, Proprietario at Bed & Breakfast La Rosa dei Trulli

Thank you very much for dedicating this nice review to us and appreciating our welcome. Our property is located 2km from the car parks in the center and for this reason we do not recommend reaching the town on foot in the evening as the road is poorly lit, but during the day some customers do it quietly.

My wife & I toured Pulia last September and the first place we stayed for a few days was La Rosa - we were welcomed and made to feel at home, The property was classic & comfortable - it also has a small pool in the garden. In the evening we would sit outside in the vineyard with a couple of drinks - so relaxing - we will definitely be back - thank you

GPS will only get you so far. We had to call and then we followed the grandfather to the gated trulli. It is at 36 km on SS172, if you follow the kms.. Young couple speak English. We had the unit with a separate bedroom plus another bed off the dining area. Kitchen is fully equipped with full refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes etc. also a washing machine. One can hang clothes outside on clothesline that is under cover. Breakfast is included, but minimal. Grocery store is a few km back towards town where you can buy whatever you may want if you intend to cook in. A car is necessary. Good location for day trips to either coast.

Amazing place. Can only find poitive words to describe "La Rosa dei Trulli" and its hosts. We felt like at home! The distance to the center of Alberobello is a 5 minutes drive, easy to reach. Our "Trullo" was very clean and we had literally everything one needs - bottles of water, milk, orange juice, spices, zwieback, jam, cookies, even pasta and tomato sauce and all kind of spices. Then shampoo in the bath room, a washing machiene and a dishwasher and obviously all you need for it. Books, games for families like chess, even a night light in case one is scared to sleep in the dark, etc. In the morning, the hosts even got fresh croissants for us and left them in a chest next to the house door. Can only recommend this place!

Our family travelled from Australia to see Puglia. We arrived in Alberobello at this beautiful bnb. The setting is magnificent with beautiful gardens and a terrace to sit in and relax at the end of the day. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking our own dinner. Laundry facilities were also good. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Piero brought fresh croissants each morning and offered to go to the local pharmacy for us and also to pay our parking fine as we were leaving the next day.

My wife and I spent four nights at this B&B. We loved it. The owners: Beppe, Katia and Piero are wonderful and very helpful. There is ample parking right on the premises. But the uniqueness of staying in a trullo is worthwhile.

Personally, I wouldn't say that staying in a trullo is a "must-do" when you're in Puglia. It seems a bit overhyped, although we really liked the charm of Alberobello (it was too early in the season to be too overburdened with tourists) and were glad we stayed in/near the town. This is a really good option if you do - certainly cheaper than many of the other places we looked at, and really spacious, comfortable, and tranquil. We didn't realise there would be two bedrooms so it's actually ideal for two couples or a family. Even for just the two of us, it was great value for money. It's not walking distance to the town which is its only drawback - but it's a short drive away and they tell you where to park in town for free (they also advertise a taxi service). Breakfast is served to your room in the morning for a small charge and, while basic, is quite plentiful and was a nice change from some of the huge buffets we were getting at other places. This is a great no nonsense place in a town that is overpriced and very touristy.

This was a great place to stay, fresh croissants delivered every morning. Well equipped and very comfortable with friendly and helpful hosts. It was also a good base for exploring the area and was near a supermarket. There was also a covered car park to keep the car cool. Lovely terrace to have breakfast on and to relax on in the evenings.
