We met our host, Mariano, at a bar not far from where we had parked. He had secured a parking spot for us around the corner from our little trullo for the night. It was so quaint! Fully furnished with a kitchen nicely stocked. A nice little bed in an alcove. A little washroom. Very well located close to the town with restaurants and shops. Was a little cold in the room since it was cold outside. There was no heater. There was a fireplace with wood but no mention of us being able to use it. Good thing there were lots of blankets to keep us warm during the night.

Trulli Resort is wonderful. I Trulli are original beauty. The hospitality is careful and refined. It is situated in a strategic point of Alberobello. You sleep in a trullo nicely restored with stones and furnishings from the scent of a timeless art.

We had a primorous service. We had problems finding the hotel, but we're promptly 'rescued' by the friendly host, Mariano. The place was a wonderful refuge from the summer heat. We did I not even had to turn on the air conditioning, which was functioning perfectly when we tested it. All beds were confortable, kitchen was full with fruits and nice breads. Location could not be better. Unforgettable.

While the trulli was quaint, the stone interior made for a very chilly night. The hot water supply only lasted for half a shower, making for an even colder experience. There are 3 beds available, but one is in the attic, which would be very difficult to access. The bed we slept in did not meet our expectations, given the cost of our stay. Breakfast was a basket of commercial snacks.

Dear guests We have a lot of pleasure in our review, of which we remember some things You have to consider that it is a Unesco World Heritage Apartment of 1400 humanity not of Hotel or other formula, breakfast for the Italian legislation should not be served, for that the same is offered together with the bar fridge with packaged products. For the arrangement of the bed you have been told that the third bedroom on the closed mezzanine floor can not be considered during the winter months but can only be visited. Disliked for your comment we will treasure A very cordial greeting

A real Trulli house experience. Exceptional personal welcome by the owner Mariano - a lot of information about Trulli history, house itself and a life there. Guidance for Alberobello sites, places to see or visit, restaurants etc. A lot of information about Puglia region also. Just ask for any advice you need. House itself is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. And "it is your home" in all aspects as Mariano said. Thanks a lot!

Arrived stressed after driving around town for 2 hours looking for it to be met by a man waiting on a bench in a neighbouring road for us.
Took us to our trulli house - great location and it was an authentic trulli. Great so far! But otherwise awful. Sleeps 6 but only one tatty armchair. Bedding was dirty and needed replacing- sheets were clean but inadequate bedding and pillows need to thrown away.
We had booked a b&b through booking .com but it was a self catering property with inadequate facilities. The breakfast part was very poor quality supermarket products left for us on arrival day.
When the man( was he the owner?)came the next morning for payment, he announced it was cash only although we had given our credit card number to book it. Also tried to overcharge us. Told him as we were on way back to UK we did not have enough euros to pay cash. Offered to do BACs transfer to his bank but this didn't seem possible- don't know why! I asked for a receipt but he couldn't give us one. Said he would email it- haven't received one just a form in Italien which is in poor handwriting and doesn't seem to be a receipt.
We gave him all our cash and then had to tramp around the town on a Sunday for an hour to find a cash machine that would accept our card.

We also found it odd that the Internet in the house used another company's username- are they connected to this company or was he accessing one of their premises nearby.

We saw lots of other lovely trulli houses to rent which provided their breakfast at a local cafe- scattered accommodation.

We would never return to this property and remain suspicious about the whole saga.

The rest of our holiday was brilliant!!!!!

Dear Sirs we are very sorry for what you have written about your stay. We stress that our as specified on all portals of the world it is a museum of 1400 apartment formula for vacation and not a B & B or 5 star hotels. on all sites is reported that the payment is made in cash directly to the structure as it does not possess POS. The sheets are changed daily to change ogno Guest Let me tell you that in his words there evil and wrong choice of LOcation and also a lot of envy for all 169 excellent advisor. We will still treasure his wonderful advice

Staying in the trullo was an experience I will always treasure. The trullo was perfectly clean, beautifully detailed, and supplied with everything I needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The town of Alberobello is like a step back in time; I watched the craft of a trullaro firsthand in the city park as he worked on a stone wall, and ate one of the best meals I've had in Europe, in a former underground olive mill. Most importantly, the owners of the trullo are kind, gracious and generous hosts. I recommend this experience to anyone - family, group or solo traveler.

Arriving on Sunday, when there are no trains from Bari, we ended up taking a bus from near the Bari train station but it took two hours because of all the stops and it was a not clearly marked 15 min. walk into town. We found an internet cafe, made our booking last minute and when we arrived the door was locked, fortunately one of his friends came to notify us that we'd have to wait 30 minutes for Marinaro to arrive as he lives out of town. His friends kindly guarded our luggage at their gift shop while we went to a cafe. The location is very central and perfect for dining, we enjoyed the Slow Food restaurant on the next street up the hill, on the way from the main street to the trulli is a deserted looking trulli covered with a blue vinyl sheet and someone is living there so do not get close.
The trulli would've been perfect if it had Wifi to check trip details. Mr. M told us the town had Wifi and gave us the password but it was a big waste of time and not all the Wifi cafes there have proper Wifi so check before you order. The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette, shower/toilet is through the door, down the hall and it came with complimentary water, soft-drinks(not sure if the wine in the living room was complimentary), a manual espresso pot, breakfast( fruit and packaged sweet cakes that came out of a box). It was a magical stay. There is another bedroom up the ladder for larger families. We used the fireplace at night, did not realize that it would cost 30E to do so; was charged 20E. For 70E Marinaro drove us to Matera and it took an hour.
