The Trullo was situated in a very good location, in the center of town, close to all attractions and restaurants and other Trulli, and happened to not be in area where large tourist groups are walking by. The Trullo itself was very clean and well kept and had a kitchenette with a minifridge and a hob to cook on, together with all cooking utensils. It was a very comfortable stay. The staff were gracious and allowed for a late check-in, as our flight got in very late, and also arranged for a taxi to collect us from the airport and take us directly to our Trullo.

Tipico Resort is more of a cute BnB, although they do offer breakfast which we didn't opt for. The Wifi connection could have been stronger. Also, the reception is opens at 3pm, you can call the staff on the numbers provided, and they will help you.

All in all I would recommend Tipico Resort for an affordable Trullo experience.

We were on a cycling holiday & stayed in our own little Trulli house which was lovely and private and was on a quiet street yet right in the centre of town, it was very spacious and clean. Laura on reception at the Tipico Resort was exceptionally kind and helpful. The hotel reception area and the little bar where the breakfast was served was only a few moments walk away from our room. Everything was perfect, we would certainly stay here again.

Fun to stay in a Trulli! We had a family room which was quite large. It had a small kitchen. The interior was perfectly up to date with wifi, A/C, TV, etc. Good location but up a steep hill. Check in was easy but impersonal. Really no service from the front desk. Basically an AirBnb. Breakfast was ok. Bad coffee.

Stayed for one night in late December 2019 as a family with two adults and two grown up kids. Booked large trulli for four, which was in fact a nice two bedroom apartment made of three merged trullies. Very traditionally looking from the outside, but very modern inside. Surprisingly well heated place, which is unusual. Great location, although the whole place is quite small so everything is within 5-10 min walk anyway. May be worth bringing luggage to the parking lot close to reception and then park, as you still need to walk a little. Quite basic, it decent breakfast, although a very cheap one. Also comes in a nice setting, so worth getting. Overall, really enjoyed the stay and the city overall. Probably one of the most unusual and enjoyable hotel experiences ever! Thanks a lot!

The trullo idea seems very appealing and we needed to try it out. We rented two trulli on the same road from a Saturday to a Sunday. Already Saturday afternoon we realized that the streets are overrun with large tourist groups that stopped every 10 minutes outside our trulli (noise and confusion). When dark came, basically all evening and into the night the streets were the place for the local youth to party - screaming, running and making it impossible to sleep in either of the two trulli. Next morning (Sunday) at 08.00 new large and loud turist groups just outside our trullo. It was like sleeping in the middle of Disney World. Opposite our trullo town was another one where mass turism was evident with turist "magnets" in every trullo along the main road. On Sunday morning we addressed our problem to the female receptionist that was completely uninterested. No appologies for any of our ruined sleep - 4 people leaving trullo town of Alberobello tired, frustrated, and exhausted. Breakfast was OK - thus two and not one star. Alberobello seems to be a tourist experiment gone wrong. Our advice is: Go there, see the beautiful trulli, but do not sleep there.

Lovely experience of staying in a trullo. Plenty of space for a family of three. Gorgeous little fairytale house, surrounded by other trulli, restaurants and shops.
Simple basic breakfast.
Overall, a must if visiting Alberobello.

Alberobello is a special place & we looked forward to enjoying an experience staying in an authentic trulli. At the Tipico Resorts office, we were greeted by Paolo who personally showed us to our trulli. We loved the entire experience! Our trulli was cozy, super clean, & had a lovely ambiance with modern conveniences. Paolo also provided us with accurate advice on local restaurants, parking, & sights. He & his colleagues were all professional, friendly & so helpful! Paolo also accommodated us with our request for an early check out. Thank you again for a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay in a Trullo. We arrived in a hired car and parking was absolutely not a problem. There are three paid parking sites all within walking distance from reception. People who have whinged about parking clearly haven’t done much travelling in Italy. I wish all places had parking like here. Once you check in reception walks you to your own Trullo. The Trullo was very clean and unique. Other comments are correct that they aren’t really like a hotel but who cares. They own a large number of individual Trullo around town and if you need anything during your stay reception are there to cater for your needs. Breakfast was in a set room which was reasonable. We would definitely return!
