Quiet, clean hotel, comfortable beds. Poor toiletries. Average breakfast. Only set dinner menu is available in the restaurant. Typical tourist hotel, where no one expects you to ever come back. Friendly personnel. Outside pool will be a big attraction in warmer season

Very good location, just a short walk from the centre of Alberobello and all the remarkable Trulli Houses.
Quiet, comfortable room and good air conditioning. But what made our stay so relaxing was the large and very beautiful pool area! Plenty of sun loungers available, large shady umbrellas plus a table and chairs for eating lunch. An excellent pool bar service was provided by a cheery young lady who brought our drinks and tomato and mozzarella paninis which were absolutely delicious!

We enjoyed our stay at Ramapendula Hotel in Alberbello in early June, 2023. It's location was about a 15 minute walk from the old town. Parking was included on the site. The hotel had lovely well-maintained grounds and a nice outdoor swimming pool. A good breakfast buffet was included with our accommodations. The staff were pleasant. We recommend this hotel.

Nice, modern hotel in Alberobello with very nicely landscaped grounds (including an olive grove in the rear of the hotel), a beautiful pool, and free parking. While very modern, the hotel is actually built around an old trulli.

Saw no advantage to staying in the touristy trulli area, since it was only a short walk or drive (parking in town center relatively easy) to this area. Staff helpful, especially Antonella at the front desk.

In the middle of October, after much searching for hotels in Alberobello – home of the trulli - we noticed this three star hotel just outside the city. It is quite new, with modern facilities. The price was right so we booked it for three nights. The room is quite large, with two chairs! The bathroom is well appointed even though it only provided liquid soap for washing, shampooing and showering. The water pressure was good and the towels fine. The room had satellite television (a small old fashioned television set with no English channels). There is only WIFI in the reception area.

The staff was very helpful. My spouse was suffering from an allergic reaction to numerous insect bits received in a hotel in Ravenna. The receptionist directed us to an emergency medical service where she received prompt and excellent care. The hotel receptionist was very supportive and often asked how she was feeling.

The hotel breakfast was very good with a large buffet selection of various foods. Located within five minutes walking distance of the trulli areas of town, we highly recommend this hotel. We also used it as a base to visit further south in Italy (Lecce and Gallipoli).

We had originally booked to stay here three nights mid-travels through Italy. We thought it would be a place to relax and casually explore the sights in Alberobello and nearby towns.
The hotel was a disappointment. There was no wifi ‘due to a storm’. The pool was very cold. The bath towels are thin, and not due to age. The rooms, while old, are very clean. There is no in-room facility for tea or coffee; not even a plastic cup for water.
The hotel seems popular with tour companies so if it’s a one night stay with only basic room and you’re happy with high price, this would do.
Just beware - breakfast finishes at 9am unlike everywhere else in Italy.

We spent 3 nights at the Ramapendula in May, 2018. We used the hotel as our central location from which we took day trips to other nearby cities. .The hotel has a very good breakfast and dining services are also available in the evening. The rooms are fairly large and clean. In front of the hotel, there is a large pool and an area with tables and chairs for relaxation. The hotel is within walking distance of the center of the city; although walking can be "challenging" because of traffic and lack of sidewalks on some streets. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Ramapendula

The hotel is about 15 mins level walk from the beautiful Old Town with its quaint trulli.
Plenty of places to eat and other shops. Amazing market each thursday morning till 12.30 pm. Easy travel (a few minutes)by rail to the nearby towns of Locorotondo and Martina Franca. About two and a half hours by train to the capital, Bari. Well worth a day trip.

Nice hotel with a great pool area. Beware, the pool water is cold, very cold, and this puts most people off actually using it.
The dining room is large and dated. The two 'old' waiters are charming and attentive. The management should open up the terrace from the dining room, this would really encourage guests to eat there in the evenings.
We had a standard room with no balcony,(no 118) but we were on the ground floor so it was OK. We were told there are no balconies in this hotel!!! Really everyone loves a balcony. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, when we asked for some we were told it was not possible!!! The bathroom was good and spacious with a bath and shower over the bath. The TV was small, and should have been on the wall.
The bar in the reception area was small and often unmanned. This should be the hub of the hotel but too small and almost insignificant.
