Located on different levels this is the only Trulli Hotel so worth the steps to reception. Located next door to San Antonio Church it is only a short walk to the centre of town. The buffet breakfast was good but our room facing the town square was noisy.

Stayed here for one night early September on the basis of location although reviews were mixed.
Good pints -
Great location - old Alberobello just outside the door.
Value for money - we paid €56 euros with breakfast
Clean room and shared areas
Not so good points
No car parking so unless you are lucky you will need to park in a paid car park nearby and add the cost onto the holiday.
We actually had difficulty finding the hotel which was little to identify it from the road and our car park was a long 10 - 15 minute luggage lug away.
Appears to be a converted former nunnery perhaps and the rooms have an ‘institutional’ feel and place bit of a maze - pretty strange!
No air conditioning to rooms.
Adequate room fittings but dated.
Limited cold breakfast but ok.
Overall it’s all about the location - no frills small lodgings.

I had read all the reviews about this Hotel before I booked and they varied greatly. As It was one of the less expensive in Alberobello I decided to book it. As mentioned there are 3 flights of stairs 2 up to the reception. A member of staff very kindly helped me with my suitcase as I was struggling a bit. I found during my week long stay all the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and pleasant to talk to. My room was on the second floor at the back overlooking a lovely Courtyard. My room had two single beds the rooms are basic but very clean. I did find the bed a little on the narrow side and the mattress very firm. The bathroom was a good size and towels changed almost every day. I did have a few Mosquitoes in the room but that's bound to happen with the windows open. There is a fan which I did appreciate . I don't think it matters where your room is as you will still hear the church bell ring which didn't bother me and there are dogs at the back which i could hear barking on occasion . But I didn't know during summer there is a Beer Festival every night behind the hotel and you can hear the loud thumping music until after midnight. Breakfast was better than I expected I don't mind a Continental breakfast it was adequate for me. Cereals, toast, boiled eggs, yogurts, croissants, ham, cheese, pastries, tea, coffee, juice, it's better than some hotels I've stayed in. Breakfast is on the ground floor beside the courtyard .The hotel is about 20/25 mins walk from the Train St. I arrived on foot from the station around 5pm took me a bit longer to get to the hotel with luggage and trying to get through the crowds. There is no Taxi rank at the station so might be best to book one in advance if needed. In all I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sant' Antonio. The village is very hilly and be careful of the slippy stones.

We had a great stay at this former convent. The room was spacious and clean with a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. From there you have only some steps into the village of Trulli (and the masses of tourists...).

The hotel provided comfortable accommodation although the visitor needs to climb a flight of stairs with luggage to check in. The breakfast was poor and the receptionist also served us at breakfast. Parking is not on site and the visitor has to walk around 5 minutes to reach the hotel.

I would argue that the location of the hotel makes it the best place to stay. Located at the top of the main Trulli street, the hotel itself has a Trulli roof. An old monastery and attached to a church it is very picturesque. The rooms are simple and clean, with wifi throughout although the signal is not very strong, I suspect this maybe due to location. Breakfast is in the courtyard, which is lovely although the choice was very limited. If I came to Alberobello again I would stay at this hotel

This is a good hotel for the money in a perfect location in Alberobella.
You get among the trullis as soon as you leave the hotel, and despite there being a beer festival nearby when we stayed there it's quiet at night - apart from maybe the church clock striking the hours and quarters.
We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.
Car parking was in a public car park about 150m away. I believe the hotel used to pay for this, but now it's 5 euros a night. There may be free street parking nearby, i'm not sure.

Attached to the church, this ALBERGO was a clean, roomy and pleasant place to stay. It occupies a great location close to the town centre and just beside the Trulli houses zone. Breakfast comprised. Buffet taken in their downstairs dining room and was plentiful, good and tasty. Free WiFi available. Definitely recommended.

We impulsvely decided to stay in Alberobello, charmed by the trulli and friendiness of the people we met. Walking uphill, we saw people leaving Hotel Sant'ngelo so we inquired about a room, and felt fortunate to find one available. The receptionist was very helpful, walking with us down to the main road to guide us in our car back up the hill to a free parking area not far from the hotel. Our room on the second floor towards the back overlooked the courtyard, was quiet, light, roomy, and clean. The window screens were worn, but a minor thing. Breakfast offered a good selection of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, juice, bread, cold cuts and cheese and the cappuccino and espresso were nicely made to order. We liked the fact that the hotel was at the edge of the trulli traffic, next door to the small church, and away from a lot of busy activity but convenient to walking throughout the town. Considering the attraction of Alberobello, this hotel was a good value and a great place to stay.

This is a beautiful building. I think used to be a monastery. It is within easy walking distance of the main trulli area. Dont expect a luxury chain type hotel. It is basic, clean and comfortable, with a peaceful atmosphere, quite monastic actually. The staff are lovely and the breakfast coffee some of the nicest I have had. if you want to stay somewhere a bit different from run of the mill hotels you will enjoy staying here.
