In a break from touring, we decided to stay at the Verdura resort for two days, and are so glad we did. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms large and modern, and our room had a lovely patio overlooking the Mediterranean. It was early May so we didn't venture into the pool,

Maybe the most stylish and most modern hotel in Sicily. Very quite location. Spa or Golf is what can you do there, otherwise there is nothing around. April was too cold to enjoy the pool or beach area.

Spent a few nights here years ago. A short ride to Sciacca, and right on the sea. The food is amazing and grown within a kilometer away. The spa was perfect. Room decor is classy and comfortable. I would go again.

This place is a secret gem in Sicily. Service was impeccable, and rooms were very well appointed, with amazing views and well good decoration. The highlight are the leisure options, including a huge pool, private beach and water sports. Food was amazing in all the restaurants

You need to go to the nearest town ( on the small side ) which is Sciacca by taxi or if you have a rental car. You probably want to leave the resort once or twice if you are there for a week but if there is a piazza there it is not quite what you may be looking for but there are a couple of decent restaurants one of which I reviewed on our recent trip.

We have just returned from Verdura having stayed last week. My wife is vegetarian and found good options in each of the restaurants. While not as extensive as the rest of the menu, we asked if they could prepare vegetarian options and were always accomodated.
