The AC system in my room was insufficient and sleeping at night was only a dream. All I asked was a normal €10 to €20 fan so that I might sleep at night. The management gave me all types of excuses and by the end of my stay I still was without a fan.

We chose this place for its close proximity to the Gole d'Alcantara. Just 600m away so one can go on foot. The property is also in quiet and serene surroundings in the mountainous region of Sicily. Wonderful hosts Romano and his wife are always ready to suggest where to go and where to eat, even though they offer a very...

We stayed there for 2 weeks in June and it was a nice try for agriculture tourism family vacation. Very pleasant owners who live on sight and really help to explore Sicily by car. Good facilities, we enjoyed swimming pool and a nice garden. Good views of the Giardini Naxos bay. They offer continental breakfast and different types of dinner....

Very nice small cosy resort in eastern part of Sicily. A good location if you are interested in going on tour on Mnt Etna. But the best things about this place are the friendly owners and the excellent food. We were very glad we stayed in for dinner during our stay. We received good information how to plan our tour...

This quiet small hotel is an ideal place to relax and explore eastern Sicily. As it is located not far from the towns at Taormina and Giardini Naxos, it is easy to reach the beaches there. It is good place to go on tours of Mount Etna, the excellent hosts can arrange day trips if necessary. There is a nice...

Very nice hotel and very quite. Pity we did not have dinner here as breakfast was excellent. We even had freshly squeezed oranges from the orange tress surrounding the place. Staff very helpful and it is only a few minutes by car to go to the Gorge.

Just arrived home this morning from a long weekend in Sicily staying at the beautiful Casale Romano. Firstly, 4 days is nowhere near long enough! Secondly, this place is an absolute gem and it was a total pleasure to stay there. From the minute we rolled up the gravel driveway to park the car under the shade of the baby...

Casale Romano is a wonderful location for a holiday. The accommodation is great and the dining is superb with the freshest possible ingredients cooked in the traditional Sicilian way, a very good wine list and, of course, attentive service throughout, particularly from the owners who take the trouble to explain (in a variety of languages!) not only what is on...
