Visited Arabba recently and although we did not stay here our hotel deal meant that we had our evening meals at this hotel. We also had the use of the hotel ski and boot room. As this hotel is very close to the lifts this was an advantage. The hotel has a decent bar which we used on a couple...

Just back from a weeks skiing. Hotel is just a couple of minutes from Burz lift and a bit longer to Portavescovo Cable car and gondolas. Arabba is a great access point for the Sella Ronda. Only 3 lifts away from the Marmolada's 3 cable cars. A long, long red run from some 3,300 meters. Wonderful views from top. Also you...

Pros Spacious Room Food was tasty with decent choices for starters and mains Well placed for lifts, shops and Arabba's best (and only) apres bars Spa is good (pool, steam room and saunas) Table tennis and snooker table available to use Older clientele (less noise and nobody clumping through corridors at 2am) Cons Shower/bath was under a sloping roof which...

This February I stayed here with 110 fellow skiers and snowboarders, so you would have thought a group this big would pose a serious catering challenge to the kitchens and staff. Not here, they coped magnificently, good wholesome food every night, as well as a substantial breakfast every morning before hitting the slopes. This being my first trip to the...

A skiwi re visits the Dolomites, wonderful. Duplicated my 2015 visit, but day two was unmemorable as crashed, ended in hospital in Brunico for 7 days then back to Arabba, 6 days then home, so a different holiday from the first. Hopefully redo more successfully 2017

Many of the reviewers below don't seem to know what 3 star hotels in ski resorts are like. This hotel is very comfortable, with generously sized rooms and a lot of public space. The furniture in the rooms is more than adequate - the bed was very comfortable. 3 star does not mean luxury, so I'm not sure why anyone...

This is the second time we have stayed in the hotel, and it won't be the last. We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Portavescovo, they are so very welcoming and all the staff are so friendly. If the snow is right you are almost ski in and ski out, with only a few steps to take to the...

We stayed for a recent week's skiing trip, and found the hotel ideal. Plenty of decent, fresh food, including some lovely home-made pasta. Well set up for skiers, with a heated boot room, and the pool and sauna were very popular. For those seeking more excitement, the hotel was also well served by its bar, which was lively and popular.

This hotel is kept spotlessly clean in all areas and was always warm, the two thing I find important in a hotel. yes the furniture in the bedrooms is a little basic but if you are here for a skiing holiday it is adequate. the restaurant staff were all very helpful and the food very good, the only complaint I...

The rooms here are very basic and the furniture was damaged and chipped in our room (it was in need of renovation) but the rooms were clean which was the main thing. The pool is extremely small and once a few kids were in there we decided to leave. The food was very good although lacked in choice somewhat as...
