My wife and I had an amazing time at appartamenti Il Castagno. We met up with friends who were spending 5 weeks there and although we only spent 3 nights, they were absolutely marvellous. Lorenzo, Danilo e il nono Dario were extremely welcoming and warm, in fact the whole family is welcoming and warm. As a treat our friends had booked a meal wich Danilo cooked and we were really delighted with the delicious dinner. We certainly would stay at Appartamenti il Castagno again the apartment itself was very comfortable and well equipped. Group of 6 stayed a week with painting instruction fr American friend who discovered the Beccatini family inn. They welcomed us as family, comrtable clean apartments with fully equipped kitchens. Hiking, ever changing views of mountains to Florence and Arezzo, delicious food by Danila with cooking demos. I hope to go back with my family and to paint those hillside shadow again. A perfect spot.

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment with exquisite views from the balcony. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. It is ideally located for touring the Chianti region. But you will need a car . The village is small but there is a larger city about 20 minutes away where you can find everything you need.Plus you can get a train to Florence from this town called Figline Valdarno. Florence is only a 20 minute train ride away. The owners were very peasant and helpful. The apartment was nice and clean and spacious. I would stay there again and I would recommend it to my friends.

The apartment is located on high ground in Greve and has an awesome view of the surrounding areas and Florence. The apartment was well equipped! Hosts are wonderful people. Very responsive in their communications and very helpful! We had dinner cooked by the host as we arrived a little late. The dinner was awesome! Home made pasta, beef steak, salad and some skewered fruits. One of the best meals we had in Italy! Overall it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay for 6 weeks in the Cipresso apartment which had fantastic view of the Chianti hill, Florence in the distance and beautiful sunsets. The apartment was well appointed and the best part being the interaction with the host family - we didn't speak Italian and they didn't speak English but great fun communicating.
