Came for a visit with my mom in May 2018 after staying here with my husband in April 2015. I absolutely love this vineyard/hotel. The wine is delightful (especially the chianti reserva) and the grounds are absolutely magical. It was so great to see Ines was still working here!

Gorgeous place to stay you will need a car as it’s a bit out of the way, we did day trips to Florence, Siena,San Gimignano, Chianti all easy driving. We had 3 nights at this vineyard. The only fault that we were not aware at the time of booking was the restaurant only opens

We stayed at Castello Vicchiomaggio for one night only but wished we could stay more! Beautiful castle with amazing view. Our room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was good too. The only little thing is that it's a 10min drive to the town which isnt really fun when you don't

This is a very real castle overlooking a vineyard. The facility is remarkably modern for a structure that is hundreds of years old, including wifi and individual suites with full bathrooms and kitchenettes. The infinity pool is absolutely gorgeous with magnificent views. The

Since we had flown into Rome, we rented a cute little Fiat 500 & drove up to Chianti. The drive is very easy & most of the way is beautiful. As stated above, the apartments are fully equipped for making food. The town of Greve is a 10 minute drive & has a market & a few really good restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel is not open every day so you will need to go out or make food in. Hope that helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
