My (now) fiancé and I chose Poggio all'Olmo after weeks of researching various places to stay in Tuscany, and obviously what stuck out to us about this place was (a) the gorgeous views and (b) the absurdly low price. So if you are thinking "it seems too good to be true" like we did at first - don't worry, it's...

We spent a wonderful week in the upstairs apartment at Poggio All Olmo. The hillside property ticks all the boxes: stunning views across the Tuscan hills, swimming pool (kept immaculately clean), beautiful gardens, terraces to sip your wine while watching the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see, and comfortable, rustic accommodation. Our apartment was spacious, with a separate large...

From the cheery greeting by Francesca to the beautiful views at sunset overlooking the hills of Tuscany, this was everything we were hoping for in the Chianti region. For travelers with a car interested in escaping cities and enjoying a truly Tuscan experience, this is a wonderful option. Florence and Siena are each about an hour by car. We had...

We spent 5 nights at this picturesque guest house in Chianti. The location has beautiful views of the surrounding Chianti countryside, the accommodation was great, and Francesca was a wonderful host. We would definitely come back.

Francesca our host was so helpful answering questions before our arrival. Directions were helpful as well. During our stay, I was struck by how the grounds, room, location, pool look like something out of a luxury travel magazine. In particular, the views and pool area are both incredible. Francesca had an amazing breakfast-spread in the morning and was available to...

We stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely stay. Francesca is a lovely host. She guided us to several great restaurants in the region and makes a lovely breakfast every day. The room was good. It was very convinient to have a small kitchen in the room as well. The rooms also come with a great view over the...

I googled the best area in Tuscany and then googled the best bed and breakfast in said area and came up with this. The view from this B&B is spectacular and the area is perfect. The great thing about this place is that it's small. Some other B&B's have 20+rooms, which in my book is a hotel! This place only...

This was a perfect accommodation from beginning to end but more on that later. First you need to know what to expect on the drive in to town. The road to the house can be a little scary if you don't know what to expect. Make sure to arrive in daylight at least the first time you drive to it....

We travelled for a month in Umbria and Southern Tuscany and this place was the highlight. Poggio all'Olmo was a bit difficult for our GPS; however, once we turned off the main road out of Greve there was a reassuring sign which told us how far up the road we needed to go. Don't be put off when you get...
