Beautiful place to relax. Very helpful staff. Both Leticia & Matteo suggested some really good places to visit and also to eat. Ended up staying here for 3 nights! My daughter enjoyed playing with Matilda (the dog). There is a nice swing and beautiful views from this place. Good place with peace and quiet!

Friends and I visited the winery for a tour and had an amazing home cooked meal at the restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! I was part of The Spark Experience and this was one of our featured evenings. Christian gave us a tour of some of the property, the wine making process, the cellar, and then we enjoyed a lovely dinner. While we didn’t stay at this inn, we did get to see two empty rooms, which were beautiful and typical of an Italian villa. I would stay here when visiting this region again!! This was one of my favourite dinners we had while visiting Italy!! The food is meticulously presented and explained and the wine is just delicious! I love red wine and this wine didn’t give me a headache!!!

We rented a Vespa from Florence and ventured out to see the Tuscan countryside. This was the first vineyard/winery we came upon and it was our favorite. It is quaint and the setting is perfect. We tasted some wine, got 2 plates of meat/cheese/bruschetta and a bottle of white wine for under 24 euros. This is a must see!

Location is quite picturesque. And the houses on this farm have definitely some character. However, we had a very uncomfortable stay. First night was absolutely sleepless, as our room seems to have still issues with mosquitoes reported by others previously. We both ended up badly bitten. We slept the second night with closed windows despite no aircon. Luckily there was a ceiling fan that helped us through the night. Additionally our bad was creaking every time we moved and with mosquitoes flying over over we were constantly waking up each other. Bathroom was rather old and some fixes in the shower were done with a sticky tape. Breakfast was quite basic but sufficient. Served in a pleasant farm room though. We really enjoyed their cold cut plate with their local wine. It was pleasant to relax in the courtyard. Swimming pool area was also nice and relaxing. No wifi in our room. Just in the breakfast area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could score this place higher. We may had a bad luck with the room as others didn't havqe issues with mosquitoes when we asked.

Stayed here last weekend 2 nights for a Wedding up the road. Beautiful setting, and room. We had the only room on the top floor, that also has its own private terrace, with stunning views. The hotel/vineyard seems to be pretty much run solely by a young Italian lady, who I believe works here alongside undertaking a nursing degree, so I'm told. She was nothing but hospitable, and tried to help with every query of every guest; from manning reception, questions, breakfast/snack waitress, wine tasting guru, maintenance lady… need I say more. The wine produced on site was delicious, 5 Euros per glass, or only 8 Euros pet bottle, exceptional wine for the price! Breakfast is a standard continental breakfast, very simple, but tasty. They also offer a cold-cuts & cheese platter during the day upon request, we didn’t indulge, but it looked delicious. On the Saturday morning/afternoon we had some spare time so drove down in Greve town, they have a large market on a Saturday in the town square (triangle), worth a visit. The only drawbacks, one of which was resolved very quickly, and the other I did not think warranted an immediate complaint. We had an AC unit in our room (not all rooms do), but no remote, so requested the remote. Due to a bit of a language barrier, and that we went out for the evening on the first night, we spent the first night without AC, which was a little unbearable. However, next afternoon, I requested the remote, which we were given, and problem solved. The second, was our room had a very pungent smell of sewage, not ideal in the 35-degree heat. I may be wrong, but as the bathroom suite worked fine, I think this could be down to the angle of the soil pipe (perhaps?), but to correct this would be ripping up floors and a major building task. Therefore, as we were only there 2 nights, and the hostess was exceptional but rushed off her feet, we did not complain. Hopefully by reading this, the owners may look in to this. Thanks to other reviewers, we noted the potential mosquito problem, and took all the sprays, after-bite lotions etc. There are mosquito’s, but we were fortunate our room had a fly net on each window (not the door to the terrace though), and they are to be expected in Tuscan Summer. Take lots of mosquito sprays, and even a window net if you are concerned. Overall a wonderful place to stay, would definitely return if the bathroom smell could be sorted.
