Villa Bordoni is a sophisticated country house hotel, nestled in the grey-green hills immediately above the town of Greve, in the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. This 16th-century noble villa commands an extraordinary vantage point over the unspoiled Chianti hills and their biblical landscape of vineyards, terraced olive groves and forest. The hotel is surround by vast, beautiful gardens, and offers a pool - open from March to October. The in-house restaurant offers lunch and dinner daily, proposing only the very best of Italian and Tuscan cuisine, as well as hands-on cooking classes. All in all, it is a boutique and luxurious, yet relaxed retreat that we hope contributes to help our guests create lasting memories of a great stay in the heart of Tuscany.

My husband and I recently stayed three nights at the Villa Bordoni. The hotel is tucked away in a private lovely quiet area. It’s a smaller more intimate experience as the villa only has a number of rooms. Driving at night can be quiet challenging so I would not recommend

We booked the Colognole Suite. This suite was so perfect. It had a nice shower, very spacious, and a nice view. You do have to climb stairs, but nothing crazy. You can tell the owner takes pride in this place. The grounds are well maintained. The rooms are super clean.

About a 4h30 drive from Malpensa... it may be a good idea to do an overnight in Milan, then take the fast train to Florence - where you can pick up a rental car!
