Hotel Principe Palace is often celebrated for its lively atmosphere, combining historic allure with modern, pristine rooms and an inviting terrace area. Its prime central location is a hit for proximity to shopping and the beach, though it comes with a caveat of potential noise during events. Guests consistently commend the hotel for its cleanliness and the staff's commendable service.
While the rooms are noted for their ample size and cleanliness, some guests feel there's room for updates. The value is generally seen as fair, with affordable dining and reasonably priced drinks, despite mixed feelings about certain room amenities.

Outstanding in every aspect. Perfect location for shopping, a short stroll to a very clean well organised beach with free sunbeds for hotel residents, and the food cannot be faulted. If you choose to visit Venice the bus stop for the port is just round the corner, 6 euros 20 cents return and takes 30 minutes, once at the port use Marco Polo company for the ferry trip, better boats and not as crammed as some of the others, cost is 15 euros return and takes 30 minutes. Bus number 5 from the hotel to the ferry port and same number from the port to the hotel, stop number 46 is round the corner from the hotel. When booking take the option of room with balcony overlooking the Plaza. , Entertainment on the Plaza every weekend. The hotel rooms are spacious and very clean complete with a fridge, no kettle for tea and coffee and the hotel do not allow kettles in room, rooms cleaned every day and bedding and towels replaced daily. Prices around the hotel for food and drink are very good, Americano coffee 2 euros, small beer 4 euros, large 8 euros, pizza and pasta meals around 10 euros each, We will certainly be back and is highly recommended

A traditional hotel situated on a lively square. We had a lovely comfortable room at the back of the hotel so weren’t affected by noise from the square. We had an updated room which was modern and functional , lovely modern en-suite. We had selected a deluxe room when booking. We had space for two suitcases , drawers and two wardrobes with normal hangars. Kettle is provided along with a decent fridge. The room has good aircon , a Hairdryer , dressing gowns and slippers. There is a small safe that was free to use. You need your own towels for the pool and beach. All areas of the hotel were immaculate, some rooms are more traditional than others. The restaurant overlooks the square and is on the 4th floor - it was calm and peaceful away from the square but you could still see what was going on. All staff were friendly and helpful but Salvatore and his staff in the restaurant were a step above with their service and beautiful welcome each day. We were half board and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in with the freshest food and amazing choice - everyone is catered for including a good range of gluten free , milk alternatives etc. The amount of fresh fruit available , the choice of antipasto and desserts would have been enough for us but you also had two dishes that you pre-ordered for your evening meal - again huge amount of choice. The omelette chef on a morning told us he had joined the hotel in April along with 3 other chefs. The hotel is located close to the main bus route to Punto Sabionne ( number 5 ) it is easy to get about by bus and to Venice from the port. The pool area is lovely and the bar staff were very attentive and helpful, the snack bar is only open 12 to 3 and we arrived on our first day after 4pm - they did offer to see if the kitchen could provide something and supplied plenty of crisps and nuts with our drinks to keep us going till dinner. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby but we enjoyed sitting downstairs after our evening meal to people watch with a cocktail or two - again the bar staff were friendly and attentive. The beach is close by and the hotel has its own sun-beds and parasols free of charge for guests - we didn’t use this and stayed by the pool. A really enjoyable stay and relaxing holiday.

Very well located. Easy walk to the beach and along the strip. The breakfast was superb! We originally booked on a half board basis however dinner does not start until 7pm which was far to late for our little one so on those occasions we ate out. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Venice is in Easy distance also just catch the bus 2 streets away to the port and water taxi from there. Rooms were clean and kept to a high standard. The pool is absolutely amazing beautiful views of lido from the top. We felt drinks were exceptionally priced 12 euro for a spritz and 2 prosecco! The staff were very attentive to our baby which was lovely to see. The only downside is there is no kettle in room for tea/coffee or iron/ironing board and you can't settle your bill until the evening before you leave so keep an eye on those spends if putting on the room. Overall a lovely stay

The majestic centrepiece of Jesolo! We arrived at this amazing hotel standing proudly in front of one of the main squares along Jesolo’s main tourist thoroughfare. It’s commanding location makes it the talk of the town, a central hub to an extensive calendar of activities and festivals right outside the front door!
To the front is an amazing covered terrace with a retractable roof, comfortable seating and table service from the hotel cafe and bar. Perfect to people watch and look over events on the plaza and mingle with other guests. It’s very popular in the evenings as I made friends with many other guests here, some who return regularly over the years.
The staff are very much the stars of the show, hard working but always smiling and attentive, remembering drinks which is a lovely personal touch.
The rooms are a typical format stocked with the usuals you would expect, and whilst the hotel is undergoing a schedule of refurbishment, mine was yet to receive attention. Nevertheless, it was spotlessly clean and perfectly liveable and had everything I could possibly need.
The full board experience is totally new to me and the fourth floor restaurant didn’t disappoint. The menu changed daily, and the sheer talent on show was amazing from buffet items to a la carts.

I stayed in the Principe this year. We have been coming to the Principe palace for many years. It is so consistent.
You receive an amazing welcome from the staff from reception . Terrace bar , pool bar and the restaurant. The housekeeping staff are. simply amazing as well. The rooms are spotless.
We stayed in a suite near the pool and it was fantastic with high end porcelonsa fittings, solid wood floor and double balcony. Air conditioning was brilliant which is required for the hot weather we experienced.
Next I would like to discuss the food.
We have stayed a number of years, however I have to say the food this year was the best. Fresh local produce and classic Italian dishes served a la Carte. Large buffet with a huge variation on choice each night compliments the starter and main a la carte dishes.
Desserts change every night but ice cream is always on offer. What I find the best is the freshest of fruit with watermelon and local cherries (to die for). If that’s not enough there is a huge choice of cheese each night.
Wine list is varied and very reasonable £ for £ compared to the generic choice in UK restaurants. The Amarone “Massi” is a firm favourite.
Restaurant staff are amazing, fun, friendly helpful and extremely positive and efficient. Aldo, Domenico e “La Squadra” Grazie !
Max dines with the guests each night which says more about the quality on offer than anything else.
Dorin, Eugenio and Matteo run the pool bar like clockwork, treating every guest like family and always very happy at work. They make the most amazing Spritz.
The pool was lovely for a dip and to cool down from the hot weather.
Front of house is very efficient and was able to help with anything that came up.
Wat makes this hotel different compared to any other I stay in through the year is care. Max and Caroline are always front of house with a calm, eyes on hands off attitude to management which shows in the quality that is provided.
We have re booked yet again for next year as at the Principe I truly relax.

My reservation was canceled without any notice from the hotel. Let's go into detail, I booked the room on August 11th on their OFFICIAL WEBSITE. At the end of the booking I inserted my credit card, which is a card with an unlimited credit limit. I called the property on the 14th (check-in was scheduled for the 15th) to ask about parking availability. When I gave my name and surname the receptionist informed me that the reservation had been canceled because it had not been possible, according to them, to withdraw the money from my credit card. With great rudeness and great arrogance, I was told that they had sent me a cancellation email. I've been looking for it for days, but alas, nothing has ever arrived. Furthermore, again very rudely, upon requesting to reinstate the reservation, I was told that there were no more rooms available. The point is that if I hadn't called the day before I would have found myself without a hotel on August 15th with Jesolo completely full. As I had the courtesy to call to inquire about the parking, if there had been problems with the payment (which I highly doubt) unless there was a sudden amputation of the fingers, courtesy requires the hotel to call the customer by phone and alerts to find a solution. Having said that, I will definitely put a cross on this hotel and if I return to Jesolo, it will be the last place I will stay. I rather prefer to sleep on the pier on the beach.

Comfortable room and spotlessly clean, if a little small. Nice and quiet which suited us. Complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival which was a nice touch.
Fridge in the room was a decent size, but the hairdryer wasn't great.
The buffet in the restaurant is excellent with a huge selection of local fish, salads and meats which varied each night. We were on a package so we had dinner included which was, in the main very good although the first night the risotto was very poor. Pasta and other meals throughout the week were amazing though.
You need to choose your primi and secondi the night before, for the following night, which is a little odd in a hotel that size I thought, but not a problem.
I would say avoid the white wine in the restaurant (very hit and miss - two glasses out of three tasted corked to me) but the prosecco and red wine were absolutely fine.
Really nice rooftop bar at the pool - when we visited the weather was not great so it was quiet, but from speaking to other guests it can get very busy in peak times. Snacks, Beers and wines all similar prices to other places in the area (€4 wine, €5 beer)
Service all round was very good, better at the pool bar than the café bar but probably due to it being quieter. Service in the restaurant was excellent with very friendly staff.
People return here year after year and I can understand why.

We loved this hotel. We were treated like family at every turn.
The rooms were a tad dated (but Italian hotels tend to have that feel anyway) but they were spotless and were cleaned and fresh bedding every day.
The food was spectacular, our waitress was sweet and attentive and remembered our preferences every day. We didn't have a single bad meal and there was so much choice at breakfast and dinner, everything was fresh and beautiful.
The pool area is immaculate and the pool is fabulous with plenty of sun loungers.
We cannot recommend this hotel enough and cannot wait to return!!

This was our fourth stay at the hotel - in many ways it retains its excellence, but there are things to consider before booking.
On the excellent side (and I have previous reviews on this), there is a real community feel about the hotel which I have not come across anywhere else. Many of its facilities, including the rooftop pool, are really first class. If you want somewhere to relax by day and party by night, this is probably for you.
It fell short this year, however, of the five stars. There were two prime reasons for this.
First, the food. The food was exceptional last year; this year it was back to “quite good”. Do consider whether you really want to go half board (as we always have, but probably wouldn’t if we were to return); you are essentially tied to the vote for your evening meal every evening and it *may* get a little familiar. This will work for a lot of people - particularly, I would suggest, larger families. For couples, however, it may be a bit restrictive as there are excellent choices nearby in Lido di Jesolo itself and the wider Venice area.
Second, the location in Piazza Mazzini may be seen as a significant advantage - but it can also be a disadvantage, as the square can get very noisy at night (particularly on the Tuesday dance nights) which means you are really obliged to tolerate a party going on directly at the entrance potentially until 11.30pm on about three or four days in a week. Again, this will suit some people who will enjoy the party atmosphere; but for those who have come to relax, this may be an issue worth considering.
We are very grateful to the team for another enjoyable stay, but there are those issues just to ponder for people before booking, depending on exactly what sort of holiday they want.

The hotel is centrally situated which is excellent for all the amenities, including restaurants which dominate the landscape: so there is much choice. The hotel was opened in 1947, so is very comfortably palatial, with its own seperate Cocktail Bar. I have to mention the very high level of housekeeping. The sheets were changed every day & the rooms, if a little tired, left spotless. The ladies themselves, lovely. The pool areas were fine, in low season &, yes, do take a towel. Reception couldn't provide us with change for gratuities, when asked for €5 notes, on three separate evenings, which was disappointing because we wished to tip the different restaurant staff! Finally, there restaurant, situated on the 4th Floor was well managed & served by Salvatore & his staff. The food was excellent & do go half board for a very varied & quality Italian dining culinary experience.

They request that gentlemen wear, shall we say, proper trousers - that essentially excludes shorts or (at least implicitly) jeans.
That said, others have suggested they are not that strict on it really, though I don't recall any blatant breaches!
There are more places to choose from in the Jesolo area.
