We have just returned from a 10 day stay and honestly loved every minute.

This is the best hotel in the area without a doubt.

Some of the rooms have been refurbished and have beautiful modern showers and facilities. Whereas our original room, although very pretty, was very dated and not to our taste. Once we had changed rooms we could not fault a thing.

The breakfast buffet is busy due to Covid restrictions, but the staff are working so so hard to make sure everyone is happy that you really do have to just be patient and understand that this is for everyone’s safety.

The swimming pools are stunning and there is plenty of space to sit. They charge €10 a day per person to sit around the pool on a dumbed which includes a towel, although it is free to sit on the beach and there are plenty of chairs there too.

We ate lunch around the pool every day. Both the service and the food was excellent. In fact everyone that worked in the pool area including the pool attendant, went out of their way to be pleasant and polite and could not have done more for us to make us welcome.

We ate dinner in the dining room once or twice as they have a set menu which they show you at breakfast which you can pre-order from. This food was also excellent and very tasty.

The location of the hotel is fantastic to reach all the surrounding shops and restaurants.

I would not hesitate to return to this hotel or to recommend it - it really is fabulous.

The staff here are wonderful and work so hard under pressure. The only member of staff who needs to work on her skills is Barbara who hands out the coffee in the morning. She is the only loose cog in an otherwise very tight machine!

Lovely hotel in very central position right on the beach. No 5 bus to Venice was right over the road and the main shopping street and Piazza Mazzini were short walk away. Food was excellent, best we have ever had in an Italian hotel. My husband is gluten free and the chef checked the ingredients for his meals every night and we were presented with a huge basket of gluten free breads at both lunch and dinner.

The only criticism I would have, which is on behalf of my husband who has mobility problems, is that, due to the new buildings being added on to the old buildings, not all lifts stopped at all floors which made it difficult for him to get around the hotel. There was a lovely covered veranda which would have been perfect for him to sit during the day out of the sun, but it had steps only access. Access to the restaurant from reception was up a steep slope with no handrail, so we had to have dinner in the basement bit of the restaurant with just a few tables, as it was directly accessible by lift from our room. The front entrance was up steep steps. There was a lift to the basement which led to the car park which was level with the street, which was how he arrived and left, but this was locked by 11.00 pm which meant he could not walk out with me in the evening. Our original allocated room location, on the ground floor, had three steps leading up to it which meant we had to change rooms upon arrival. Our new room was in the old bit of the hotel and was old fashioned. I also never managed to get one of the lovely padded sunbeds by the pool - they charged 10 euros a day and there were not enough to go around although the pools themselves were great. We ate lunch on the veranda every day - that was lovely. On behalf of myself though I would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Le Soleil in July 2022. We took the rooms as were allocated, which were at the back of the hotel overlooking the road and local square. Firstly, there was no road noise to tell of and these rooms get the sun in late afternoon and in the evening, which is perfect as who spends any time in there room earlier than this. The rooms were clean, functional and perfectly adequate, no problems at all. Although at first I wasn't too happy with the loungers at the pool, costing 10Euro/day, quickly realised that this provided the best of both worlds with allocated loungers on the beach and if you fancied a day at the pool then you could book the days you wanted, no having to get down to the pool early and putting towels down, with associated stress that can cause. The cost included selecting your preferred location, a large space, parasol, table and large towels.
We had promised our teenage sons pasta and pizza every day but the hotel is more what I'd classify as fine dining, there were no complaints there as everyone loved the food with no requests to go to alternative restaurants for pizza in the evening. The food was fantastic. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay with special mention to the restaurant manager, Bruno, who was the utmost professional ensuring everyone was attended to. The dinner menu was available at breakfast so you could select then if you wanted, reducing any waiting time in the evening, not that it was ever that long.
The hotel offered free bike hire and we took the opportunity most mornings to go for a cycle before it got too hot, just request a bike at reception then collect from underground garage.
The hotel is well positioned for walks along promenade, walk to the local water park, getting the bus for ferry to Venice or to a long strip of shops and local markets etc.

The hotel location is very good, right on the beachfront with its own sunbeds on the beach so there’s no need to bag a lounger early.
Basically there are two levels of room at this hotel. Those with front and side facing balconies are more spacious, those facing the street are less so and very noisy. We could hear the guy snoring in the bed next door. We booked a room for three sharing and it was far too small, we upgraded one of our party to a single room and paid extra.
The rooms were immaculate, the cleaning staff excellent.
Great choice for breakfast.
Evening meals were good though again we asked to move from our initially allocated table which was a small two seater ( we were a party of three). Once this was sorted all was good. Very good selection of wine and the choice for evening meal was good, any preferences were catered for.
So basically beware if your booking is for three, and make sure your room allocation is what you were expecting.

It was the location and the appearance of this hotel was what we were attracted to. Beach front location close to shops, bars and a number of restaurants. Our room was above the main street entrance, we had requested a sea/pool view but we were informed that if we booked with Jet 2 you were allocated in the front of the hotel as there was no option when booking for a sea view even if you requested it, but it wasn't a big problem. It was a comfortable room with an electric shutter that cut out any night time noise and it help keep the room cool. If you only book B&B you have the option of booking for the evening meal on a day to day by checking the menu that is presented to you at breakfast or it is available from the front desk where you can book diner at an extra cost. We tried it on a couple of nights but then we opted to use a local bar across the street facing the square and a brilliant restaurant called the Gente di Mare (recommend this place to eat)on the main strip only a short walk from the hotel, very good food at a reasonable price. As so many have pointed out you have to pay 10 euros a day for a pool side lounger but you get 2 loungers free including a brolly on the beach so why would you bother paying 10 euros. As i said we booked this hotel mainly for it's location, we were able to book excursions to Venice, Lake Garda and Verona through the Jet2 rep, well worth the money although you don't get much time at Lake Garda. The hotel breakfast is ok there should be something to please everyone. The beach is good but a little crowded, good and safe to swim in the sea. There is only entertainment once a week which is a little disappointing but there is usually something on in the square opposite. But taking everything into consideration it was a good holiday and not a bad hotel at all.

If you book with TUI the rooms allocated can only be described as 'the cheap seats' when the holiday was anything but cheap.
When we checked in we had not been allocated the interconnecting rooms we had requested and had to wait 3 days for this essential requirement for us travelling with young children.
Rooms were small, noisy air conditioning, very soft uncomfortable beds, old musty bathrooms, cheap plastic chairs on balcony, noisy deliveries every morning from 6am outside the room.
We requested daily to pay to upgrade our room and improve our experience which we were not able to do as the hotel was busy.
Reception staff were surly, arrogant and unhelpful.
Pool staff are disorganised, you need to speak to them to book beds by the pool and check your allocation for the next day. Reception do not inform you of this at check in.
Cleaning and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful.
Pool, restaurant and communal facilities are 4 star. The hotel has been revamped and extended in parts and it is clear where this is the case. There has been no investment whatsoever in the rooms we stayed in. We feel very misled by TUI, we did not have a 4 star holiday experience. Book with caution and lower your expectations.

Room 425 - last week August beginning of September. Had a lovely week. Room upgrade was modern and clean. Cleaning lady was wonderful and attentive. Lovely pool and beach facilities. Restaurant breakfast and dinner was exceptional with good choice and attentive, friendly staff who constantly replenished and cleaned the breakfast area. Particular thanks to Massimiliano our waiter who could not be more helpful and Bruno who took our orders. Many thanks for a wonderful break. Mike & Maria

This is a wonderful hotel with a very relaxed vibe. Food, staff, location and facilities were all excellent. Beach is right in front of the hotel with free sun beds. Sun beds around the pool must be booked in advance for €10 per bed per day. Rooms are very clean and comfortable with a decent sized balcony. Maybe a bit small if you have kids and if you don’t book directly with the hotel you will not get a sea view and may be in the back of the hotel facing the road and the sometimes very noisy (at night) Piazza Aurora. I asked to pay for an upgrade but it was not possible. I didn’t mind this as we only slept in the room so not much of an issue and it’s up to the agent to inform you anyway. My family loved the food choices (at least 6 per course) for dinner plus an appetiser buffet. Breakfast is an excellent buffet that caters to every taste. Staff are very helpful, attentive and all speak English. It was a little embarrassing that I don’t speak much Italian. Highly recommend an excursion to Verona and Lake Garda for the day. Getting to Venice is very easy by bus and ferry.

I’ve just returned from 9 days at le soleil, it was a lovely holiday and overall a great hotel. Some key points are summarised below;

The hotel is spotlessly clean with daily visits from housekeeping and the general grounds/ pool area etc, all lovely. The location is also great with plenty to do when you turn left or right out of the hotel and a great spot on the beach. The staff were great, very helpful with nothing too much trouble. The food was also lovely and reasonably priced. We booked bed and breakfast only and had just the one evening meal, the food was lovely and we wished we’d have booked half board.

The only slight issues I had were firstly with the family rooms. We had room 105 which was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. It had a large/ king size bed for adults and a pull down bunk beds for the kids which reminded me of what you would expect In a prison cell! The room is clearly not big enough for families and so if booking for families I would check on the room. I believe the rooms in the main part of the hotel are to a higher standard than this but we didn’t know at the time of booking. Those rooms had key cards etc whilst we still had an old fashioned key. It made us feel a bit like the poor guests!!!

The pool and sunbed situation was an issue for us. We had two loungers reserved daily on the beach and we managed to book by the pool on just 2 occasions despite asking every day. I’m not sure how people were managing to book in advance as the option was never given to us. We found ourselves running back and forth from the pool to the beach with the kids which wasn’t ideal. Also the pool area is not accommodating for children. No inflatables, no balls, no jumping in, no fun for kids at all it would seem. For a resort so geared up for families this felt a bit off and the kids soon got bored!!!

I used the gym a few times which is small but equipped with enough. Your room card gives you access but I had the old style key so had to ask at reception….the poor guest again! I was also slightly Concerned that there were no staff in the gym or any cameras that I could see. I was often in there training alone and from a health and safety perspective it seemed a bit risky. A camera where reception can see what’s going on would be a minimum expectation.

I wouldn’t be against coming back to the hotel but would definitely upgrade the room. Overall I would probably look at other hotels due to the issues raised.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the Les Soleil in Jesolo and really wanted to share our experience for anyone looking at Hotels in this resort.

Firstly as will have been highlighted in many of the other reviews the location of this hotel is truly excellent, literally right on the beachfront and a short walk from the town centre, couldn't ask for a better spot.

The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, the rooms are attended to every day and all of the public areas are really well presented. The food is really well presented with breakfast offering an abundance of options to choose from and the evening meals were a delight with a special mention to the salad bar, which on its own would have sufficed it was that good.

The Staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, from the front of house to the pool areas, Also worth highlighting that the drinks were reasonably priced which isn't always the case in Italy which in turn meant that the Hotel was busy in the evening which leads to a better atmosphere.

Downsides, just a couple and very subjective, firstly the pillows were really firm to the point of making sleep an issue, the only other point would be the coffee at breakfast which is supplied from a machine, I just never got the grasp of it despite numerous attempts at trying to get a simple coffee, but these are really minor points when taken into consideration and would have no hesitation whatsoever of recommending this hotel or resort.

We went in May. Definitely no requirement for caps in pool. As for meals, there are some larger tables but most seat 4. While we were there there was a large party of Austrians in the hotel any many of them just pulled tables together at breakfast, no problem. Dont know about the restraunt for dinner and evening meals because we only had B&B. The staff are lovely and if there are no tables big enough to accommodate you all I'm sure they'd allow you to pull them together as in the breakfast restaurant.
