We stayed here for four nights. It was in a very convenient location...close to beach and an easy walk to bus stops. The room was spacious, airy and very clean with exceptionally comfy beds (my husband and I both have a bad back) and the bathroom had plenty of towels as well as hairdryer and shampoos. The staff were friendly,...

Located a 2 minute walk from the waterfront and about 5-10 minutes from the beach. Surrounded by shops and restaurants. Rooms are not huge (bathrooms are...) and there is no elevator - but entire building is very clean. Room 11 has a small balcony overlooking the square. About a 5 minute walk from the bus stops that provide transit all...

We were not staying at the hotel but decided to have lunch there and the food was excellent and all freshly made and plenty of it. It was a Sunday and many locals seemed to be dining there too after church which is always a good sign! The service was OK although the woman who we think was probably one...

We spent 4nights there, not in the hotel but in an apartment nearby. Good location, in the centre, not far from the waterfront, the bus stops and the shops. Breakfast is ok, not really varied, but I would definitely recommend the banana cake! A good place for hikers wishing to go to Sao Lourenco and other hikes alongside levadas.

It was my first time in Madeira and I fell in love with the island and its people. I really wish I could write a positive review about this little hotel but to maintain the integrity of my reviews I will be brutally honest. The whole place is very dated and tired. The photos you see must have been taken...

Both my partner and I have just returned from Machico. It was very clean and tidy. The staff are excellent. The breakfast was very simple, nothing hot was offered which became quite boring, we also had a few days when they did not seem to be open for evening meal. Other than that as I said --- You get what...

If you want to have a really nice meal, you should try Amparo Restaurant, in Machico. The place is calm, the decoration is lovely and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. If you take a look at the menu, you'll see that there's a great variety of dishes, meat or fish, but i chose "steak on the stone". I...
