Family owned winery with passion. They all are lovely. Vasco who showed us the place is simply friendly. Sandra, the winemaker and owner, is equally lovely. Cant say less really. Wish to be back here soon.

We had an outstanding visit to the Passadouro winery with a group of friends. Jorge is an amazing and brilliant host. He shared a lovely wine selection with us. The drive took us through windy roads and allowed us to see the beauty of the was amazing Douro River valley.

We spent 6 nights here as part of a 5 day self guided package walking tour of the Douro Valley, but have some difficulty in giving an overall rating. The Quinta has a number of very positive features - a wonderful location, excellent and varied evening meals eaten at a communal table, the opportunity to try a wide range of...

We stayed 3 nights with family style dinner each night. Meeting and sharing with other , mostly Dutch guests was fun. Rooms were basic but a wonderful location. Ronald and Jet were great hosts. The wine was excellent, especially the port. Unfortunately the Quinta is being closed at the end of 2015, but the winery will remain open.

I did a great deal of research before I book 4 of us into Quinta do Passadouro and was looking forward to staying there for 2 nights. It was a great disappointment! The setting is beautiful however we were never made to feel welcome. Upon arrival Jet was almost rude to us, very abrupt, quickly showing us our rooms, never...

We have visited vineyards all over the world -- Cape Town, Mendoza, Sonoma, Napa, Australia, Italy -- but this place is so much closer to the soil than experienced in other great wine producing regions. We had a wonderful afternoon lunch with wine pairings --- exquisite and fresh. The tour occurred during the harvest along with traditional grape maceration. The...

We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. Jet and Ronald are great hosts and we felt very much at home at the Passadouro. Every evening Jet cooked us great local dishes as Ronald gave us a tasting tour through the Douro valley wines. Although the majority of the guests are dutch (we are also Dutch)...

We used Quinta Passadouro as our base for a 5-day hiking holiday n the Douro Valley. Our hosts, Ronald and Jet ("Yet") Weustink, were exceptional. Ronald was a true expert on the wines of the region--of which we amply sampled several different and excellent wines and ports with each evening meal. Jet was the person to consult concerning the hikes...

My wife and I just spent two wonderful evenings at the Quinto Do Passadouro near Pinhao and left completely happy with our visit. Jet and Ronald have a very genuine way of hosting and making you feel welcome. You MUST HAVE THE DINNER!! The sharing, family style, at the outdoor table under lights from the tree was perfect. Excellent Portugues...

Our two nights at Passadouro were highlights of our holiday in Portugal. As mentioned by others the aproach is via a long winding road from Pinhão and you can see the Quinta a little time before you arrive. The welcome was warm and friendly, we were shown to our room with overlooked the garden. The room was simply but comfortable...
