We booked a three bedroom apartment( two en-suite ) and my daughter booked a two bedroom apartment . Our apartment was lovely and spacious for 4 adults and our two grandsons . Large balcony overlooking the pool. Apartment was cleaned twice during our stay , bedding and towels changed mid week . We stayed in the Santa Cruz block . Lovely pool area for the boys to enjoy , Pool towels available from reception. We ate out in the Safari restaurant ( recommend booking in advance ) Mediterranean , Zac’s . Good choice of menu in each restaurant . Fuengirola is a short walk along the beach path where you can finds plenty eating places in the Old Town .
A second hairdryer in the apartment would be useful , rather than only one attached to the wall in the main bedroom.

Relaxing short stay
Booked seaview 2 bedroom apartment with hot tub.
Asked for one that had a sunny position and was very pleased with the decent sized garden on 812 ( seems sofabed meant it could accommodate 6 )
Spacious attractive accommodation. Good kitchen
Smart looking complex , nice gardens.
Came with handy dressings gowns
Very comfy sun loungers by main pool. One of the smaller pools next to it was heated well.
You can walk to the beach via a low ceiling tunnel goes under the road. Sea very clear ( cold/ refreshing!) , shingled beach no sunbeds.
Disappointed however with how hard all the bed mattresses were for otherwise well furnished apartment.
Confusing you have to collect the keys at different area to the grand Wyndham entrance.
Agree unusual pool towels not renewed as easily as in most hotels
You need a car I feel- to stock up well if self catering. Not a lot nearby and area hilly.

A spacious well kept large apartment but feels more like you’re in USA than Spain. It seems everything is top secret nothing gets explained on check in and everything is a major deal when you try to sort. Rules Rules Rules, if you like being bossed around with a multitude of rules then this is the place for you. If you want to just chill out then go elsewhere.

Lovely resort however I would recommend that anyone with children who go to bed prior to midnight do not stay here. Our suite was ridiculously loud with neighbours playing music and on the other side a dog barking. When I spoken to reception I was told that the law is music can be as loud as they like until midnight. Potentially not the best location then when you have a child in bed.

The standard of the flat was poor badly in need of refurbishment. In my opinion it was not fit to be let When we arrived it
was not clean and there was a horrible smell we discovered a dirty mop in the
bedroom wardrobe totally unacceptable. When we complained it
was eventually removed but no apology was made let alone any offer to change the apartment
The standard of food in Zachary's and Safari restaurants has gone down significantly and the choice is now very
limited. The staff were friendly and attentive

The staff were so friendly and the atmosphere of the resort was amazing. There is a short walk to the local town. The room and the whole resort was well looked after. They had amazing restaurants on the complex with the most amazing food. All in all was very very good and would recommend to anyone looking for a great holiday.

Fantastic experience from start to finish receptionist realised my elderly mother was a bit unstable on her feet so gave us a free room upgrade with access from a lift rather than having to walk upstairs, once inside the apartment it was immaculately furnished in every room then to find a hot tub on the balcony was fantastic! One of the best places I have stayed will 100% be back next year….

We stayed with friends in a two bed apartment in the signature Costa del Rey section apartment was out of this world and had the addition of a jacuzzi and pool both heated out side the patioed rear totally secured for only residents to use staff were very friendly and Sam's restaurant served up fantastic food would recommend this complex views across the sea excellent

We booked through hotels.com which states that it’s a 5 star hotel - but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t live up to the requirements for this, which is of course hotel.com’s mistake, but still disappointing as it is why we booked this hotel. Nice and clean apartment and pool area, but there’s a LOT of information lacking when booking, eg that you don’t get your room cleaned every day and that you have to wash your towels and restock toilet paper yourself - all of which is fine, but would have been nice to know, as it is not stated anywhere on the website or at the hotel, and you do not get the information at check in.
The music by the pool is so loud, that you can hear it from inside your apartment even with the doors closed. Food at Zac’s restaurant feels like it’s just gotten heated directly from the freezer (tastes fine though if you, like me, really like greasy food). We had booked our stay with half board so breakfast at Safari included a full English breakfast (which is very good), but I would have been extremely disappointed with only the buffet, which is what you get with the bed and breakfast option (no warm food). Dinner at Safari is fine and tasty, but not a gourmet experience.
It’s a very big area with different neighborhoods, and it’s hard to tell where you’re “allowed” and not, as you have access to some things and not others. The staff is exceptional though, so very friendly and helpful, they deserve 5 stars.
