Very friendly & helpful staff. Lovely old hotel with a beautiful internal courtyard, room was quite large, very clean and peaceful, but a little old fashioned. Onsite parking available on a first come, first served basis. A bit tight if you have a large car, but staff assist you in parking. Cost is €14 per day. Breakfast was included and... More

Our guide said this was "like staying with aristocratic friends"- very true but would add "who've fallen on hard times". We seemed to be the only people staying the first night and have to say it was so much nicer. We were surprised how much noise people above you make in such a solid looking building. The staff are just... More

Staying one night in Ubeda we found this Palacio in the Michelin Green Guide We had room 1 lovely very high ceiling room with two antique wooden pretty large single beds, fab stone fireplace, perfectly adequate bathroom with large towels, beds turned down and shutters closed, which is a lovely unusual touch nowadays. This is a genuine old palace in the heart of the old town. We had a huge suite with large bedroom with comfy bed, modern bathroom, and even a small sitting room, and complete with chandelier! The place is full of character, and had several rooms we could sit in, a small chapel, and is set around a lovely patio,... More

A lovely old Spanish house - beautifully decorated to give a truly authentic experience! Do not expecta Ritz Carlton bathroom but at least our bathroom had a bidet! So civilised! And a great breakfast as well! Highly recommended if traveling from Madrid to Granada!

If you love antiques and appreciate old architecture, this 16th century hotel is the place for you. We had a double room with our own lounge on the top floor. All furniture was antique and in beautiful condition. Bed very comfortable and bathroom facilities are modern. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was outstanding with cooked on offer if we... We were only planning to spend one night here but we're enjoying both the hotel and the city so much that we stayed on for another night - and would have been happy to stay even longer. Palacio de la Rambla is a gorgeous 16th century building that's still owned by the Marchesa de la Rambla in the ancient city... More

Two very comfortable nights, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful and homely surroundings. Our room opened onto the garden, which was a peaceful and cool place to sit and read. Easy to walk around Ubeda from the hotel, a charming and quiet town.

This palace is kept very much in the period. At first, it seems a bit underwhelming. But, once you are inside and get used to the fact that you are practically traveling back in time, it is quite something. The palace is kept up very well. The rooms were clean (except I think there was semen on my remote control)... More
