They moved me to a different hotel (Casa Esteva) from what was promised. It had no air conditioning, tv or wifi. Bathroom dirty, beds shaky, lot of noise whole night, we could not sleep. I later found out that other people had the same problem. If you don't ask them to change your room, they will give you a crappy room for your complete stay.
This hostel is set on a nice square just across from the harbour, the square has a couple of restaurants, there is a water fountain out the paving slabs great for kids to play in whilst having a beer. we moved here from the sister hostel for the air conditioned rooms, the rooms are basic but clean with en-suit bathroom with a good shower. we had a tv with no uk channels but you can change the language via the menu to the original . we had breakfast whilst at both hotels but served at the Boho, there was hot drinks, apple and orange juice, water, toast and jam, fried eggs although not kept warm, and a few biscuits and yogurt . this was the same everyday, not the best but okay if you like eggs. you can sit outside on the square and eat it, there is a bar but as yet they don't do day or evening food. you can buy parasols that people have left behind for a euro, their 7 or 8 euros in the shop. There is no pool here but we went to the hostel gami 5 minutes walk to use theirs it cost 6 euro a day. you hear this a lot, you get what you pay for and in that sense its okay.…
Problems with: comunication -air condition -no hot water -clogged sink. Smelly room, no soap, shampoo, etc.room has't been cleaned even once! Not exchange towels. shabby walls. breakfasts only for the brave!
When you enter the reception of Boho Concept, you are quite impressed and seem sure that the room will be of a similar standard. However, that's not the case at all. The room was small, it was stinking and no amount of airing it helped. We later discovered that the bathroom drain was the cause and had to keep it sealed shut unless we really needed to use it (good idea to hold your breath while you're at it). The shower cubicle was too small too. Overall, we paid too much and it failed to meet even the basic of requirements. The good bits - The staff was reasonably helpful with answering our questions, room is well lit, location is right in the centre and everything is accessible from there.
