Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to spend one night at the Honucai hotel in Mallorca. The room was cozy and very modern at the same time the hotel looked very new and very clean. It came equipped with a nice balcony and my room had a view of the sea. There was an amazing rooftop pool and a bar which offered drinks and live music in the afternoon. In the morning the continental breakfast was amazing with some traditional meals. I really enjoyed my 1 night stay and I hope to be back some day!…
A gorgeous hotel about 1 minutes walk from a perfect white, sandy beach. Plenty to choose from at breakfast time - hot foods, meats, cheeses, pastries. A very relaxed feel to the whole place. Roof top bar has great views and great cocktails although there’s a small pool there I can’t see anyone using it due it’s proximity to the bar tables and chairs. Staff have been lovely and attentive. Highly recommend for a chilled, romantic getaway. …
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Honucai. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. We had booked a room relatively late and no sea view rooms were available at the time so we asked if one came up that we’d like to take it. There was no such availability when we arrived but we were offered a suite for our first night instead, which we were delighted with. It had a great view and was spacious. The next night we moved into our booked standard room which was also nice, just without a sea view. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. The only downside was that our double room had two single beds put together. The bar, The Top, is a lovely place to chill out with loungers and a plunge pool, offering a great view of the marina, sea and beaches. The food at both The Top and the Salicornia restaurant was good. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice and we liked that it was served until 11am. The staff at Hotel Honucai make you feel very welcome. We have to give a special mention to Quique and Alex, who gave some great recommendations and were so helpful and friendly. We’d definitely recommend staying at this hotel!…
We have just had a great week at this boutique hotel. We had not been to Colonia before but it is a lovely calm town great for families with no blaring disco music and is not dominated by Brits. The hotel is lovely, really clean, great breakfast and kind professional staff. A special thank you to Paoblo and Luc who made some fantastic cocktails! We will definately return to this gem. Thank you.…
A mixed bag review: the rooms are OK, but not huge. Laundry service is not always great (ripped and stained towels came back as just washed). The whole interior decoration is very fresh, spacious and stylish. Staff at reception very friendly, but when for a price tag north of 5 K € it was agreed to have 2 neighbouring rooms 10 months in advance and the week before just to be sure, then it is somewhat disappointing those rooms are not there when checking in, it’s even a bit annoying that there is no accompanying apology and very annoying that in hindsight management hides behind an unforeseen prolonged stay of other guests as the reason: so why is that again my problem? No counteroffer other than for a next booking, no glass of wine, and no double bed for the parents. Back to the review though : location is absolute top, as is the roof terrace (small 50 cm pool, but great to hangout nonetheless). We had no noise at all: not from street, nor neighbours. Breakfast somewhat inflexible (no tortilla possible....) but OK. WIFI is unreliable from time to time. Overall too expensive for what’s on offer. …
