A gated apartment complex. Perhaps only 34 doors, so never overcrowded. Set in the World Heritage site of Fornalutz village. Lovely views over valley . Quiet, attentive and inconspicuous service. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Apartment has AC. Ours had a fridge , two ringed hob, drip coffee maker and a dishwasher. Limited range of cooking tools, however you are on holiday....

Just amazing. If you want to wind down, then go here. One of the most relaxing settings and hotels we have ever stayed in. Lovely rooms, amazing scenery, stunning walks. Quiet, beautiful and just wonderful!

Recommended by friends on their fourth stay, we received a warm and friendly welcome from Christina, including complimentary fresh local orange juice - delicious. The apartment (no. 13) was spacious, including generous bedroom, large bathroom, and kitchen / dining room, plus a good sized terrace with an excellent view; it's generally accepted as being the second best in the hotel...

This is our second visit the Sa Taqueta apartments, having discovered this 'gem in the mountains' last year. It is a fairly small, adult only (big plus in August) hotel which sits in a perfect location to enjoy sun and the magnificence of the mountains at the same time. And surrounded by orange groves. The apartments are large, with separate...

Spent a week here away from the hubub of the coast. Lovely apartment. Our room had an en suite and there was a separate bathroom for the other bedroom. The terrace overlooked the pool and the valley and we saw some lovely sunsets. It was very quiet and peaceful so ideal for relaxing after a day out or just spending...

Our visit to this retreat was one of ours most positive surprises ever. We did know what to expect but wanted to get away from the tourist areas around Palma and looked for a hide away in the mountains. Sa Tanqueta was so delightful and romantic. The apartment was great with perfect terrace with a stunning view. We didn´t have...

Here the plus and minuses from my perspective: + Nice views from the rooms + Clean and quite big apartments for European standards - Staff quite lazy and not very motivated (do not expect them to make a reservation at any of the restaurants. They will not say "no, we do not do that" but they will tell you that...

Due to changing plans, we moved three times within the hotel, twice in the first four days. Each room layout was different. The rooms, the bathrooms and kitchen area are all very clean but each room is atmospherically cold and could do with some colourful local pictures or displays for example of the local painted tiles. There are attractive flower...

Stayed in room number 1 this time. Much bigger than expected with a lounge/diner, bedroom with two chill out beds and bathroom. What I would say is with room number 1, you certainly do get the WOW factor when you arrive but you do experience a little road noise with the comings and goings of guests and the general public...

The staff are extremely kind and welcoming. They do everything they can make your stay one to remember. Sadly some things were out their control. The apartments are lovely and the setting and views simply breathtaking. Sadly however, the negatives sadly outweighed the stunning hotel and location. Here they are :- 1. In 36 degrees of heat - Our air-conditioning...
