At the beginning of November, we spent a few days in Finca Son Palou. Orient itself is a wonderfully preserved little village and a great location for trekking or biking. If you are into these or looking for a serene place to unwind then this place is for you. There is no shop so if you need something specific, bring...

We stayed only 3nights however it was so great. excellent dinner, good and kind staff, most of all beautiful panorama view. We walked around the path they recommend and enjoy calm and beautiful sunset time. I hope they keep this condition.

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 day stay at Finca Son Palou in July (so this review is some four months late!) and it was the best four days we have spent at any hotel for many years - we would have stayed longer if they hadn't been fully booked. Things we most enjoyed (in no particular order): The...

We spent a wonderful week in September/October at Son Palou for our eighth visit and it was as wonderful as ever. This was our first time at this time of year and the walking was great because the temperature was perfect for walking in the wonderful valley and mountains so close to the hotel. The staff have always been welcoming...

This hotel is beautifully situated in a gorgeous village in the Orient valley in the Tramontana mountains. It must be one of the most attractive parts of Majorca and a lovely place to get away from it all and to relax. The staff were all fantastic - welcoming, attentive and professional. The restaurant food is of a high standard. The...

Our fourth visit to this delightful Finca in a stunning setting. Tastefully furnished and comfortable with a friendly host, Marc, and staff. Our Junior Suite was clean and spacious with its own terrace, sunbeds and lovely views. Good food and plenty of walking in the area which is what we enjoy .

Our room was No 16 which has a terrace overlooking wonderful countryside. Unfortunately due to cool weather we never got to use it & we were so busy that we never even got to watch TV which Marc very kindly switched to English channels. The wifi in this hotel is the best we have ever experienced anywhere. So fast &...

Just returned from 10 days at this friendly place. Room was warm and comfortable (October weather sometimes isn't). Stepping outside to the morning sun, the view of the valley, a veil of mist against the surrounding crags, and...silence - just magical. The lovely buffet breakfast set us up for each day's exploration of the local trails or town markets. Car...

This is a lovely finca hotel in a lovely setting with good walks near by. The room was a good size and well-appointed. The staff were very pleasant. There were very good breakfasts and we enjoyed dinner once in the hotel.

It looked too good to be true. But it is exactly as it appears on the website ...except better. The room, buildings and restaurant were excellent. The very ancient and perfect mechanical stone olive press is an unexpected and atmosopheric feature of one of the sitting places. What no photograph can prepare you for is the hidden green valley amongst...
