A lovely ancient building with friendly and efficient staff. The food was great and our only quibble was that for a week's stay the menu was a bit limited. The location was amazing and the views spectacular; the village looked as though the Romans had built it, in beautiful golden stone. The great excitement of our stay was when we...

Having travelled Mallorca many times and stayed in some of the best small resorts and fincas, Son Palou tops our list with no exception: fantastic setting amidst some of the most scenic hikes, UNESCO world heritage site Orient the village is like an open air museum. The finca itself is a splendid reminder of history, surrounded by 1000-yrs old olive...

At the beginning of November, we spent a few days in Finca Son Palou. Orient itself is a wonderfully preserved little village and a great location for trekking or biking. If you are into these or looking for a serene place to unwind then this place is for you. There is no shop so if you need something specific, bring...

My wife and I enjoyed a 4 day stay at Finca Son Palou in July (so this review is some four months late!) and it was the best four days we have spent at any hotel for many years - we would have stayed longer if they hadn't been fully booked. Things we most enjoyed (in no particular order): The...

We spent a wonderful week in September/October at Son Palou for our eighth visit and it was as wonderful as ever. This was our first time at this time of year and the walking was great because the temperature was perfect for walking in the wonderful valley and mountains so close to the hotel. The staff have always been welcoming...

This hotel is beautifully situated in a gorgeous village in the Orient valley in the Tramontana mountains. It must be one of the most attractive parts of Majorca and a lovely place to get away from it all and to relax. The staff were all fantastic - welcoming, attentive and professional. The restaurant food is of a high standard. The...

Our fourth visit to this delightful Finca in a stunning setting. Tastefully furnished and comfortable with a friendly host, Marc, and staff. Our Junior Suite was clean and spacious with its own terrace, sunbeds and lovely views. Good food and plenty of walking in the area which is what we enjoy .

Our room was No 16 which has a terrace overlooking wonderful countryside. Unfortunately due to cool weather we never got to use it & we were so busy that we never even got to watch TV which Marc very kindly switched to English channels. The wifi in this hotel is the best we have ever experienced anywhere. So fast &...
