My mum and I stayed here for a week from the 14.09.22 for the first time after reading the excellent reviews the hotel and staff had, and they were not wrong. The place was spotless, all of the staff were extremely friendly and happy to help with anything, the room was a little outdated but clean and had a great view, and the entertainment was brilliant.

Each day, there was activities such as stretching/Pilates, water polo, kids activities and many others which were run by Marcin and Pablo who were so kind and entertaining.

There is lovely food available from the snack bar near the pool and each evening there were different themes for the buffet, however there are many nice restaurants very close by if any of the food is not to your fancy. Maria and the snack bar staff are all lovely and very helpful, with a short wait for food that’s lovely and great portions.

We spent most nights out for food but returned to the hotel in time for the evening entertainment. There is also the option to pay for a buffet breakfast for €10 each, with the option to get a deal for multiple days. All the food was lovely and the staff are happy to help with any requests or questions.

The entertainment changes each night, with the night and the next day’s entertainment being shown on the display board each morning. Bingo is played each evening after the kids disco, and is free, playing for cocktail vouchers for the bar. And the vouchers are worth it! The cocktails and other drinks are all great. Arslan and the bar staff are brilliant, making jokes with you and giving the hotel a homely feeling.

Overall, it was a lovely holiday and we quickly felt comfortable and at home here. There’s plenty of sun beds around the pool and didn’t have to rush to get a good spot, however unsure how this is affected when it is the peak of the season. A couple things could be improved, such as the rooms not having a full length mirror and not many plugs (one of ours in the kitchen area only fit the toaster and nothing else, but this appeared to only be in our room after talking with others), and the check-in time is 15:00. We weren’t told about the check-in time and had an early flight so arrived just after lunch, however our suitcases were able to go in a locked room and we were given keys to the shower rooms downstairs to get changed so we could use the pool whilst we waited for the room to be ready. I’ve kept to rating as five stars since these were only minor things and didn’t impact our holiday experience greatly. Would definitely go again!

Myself, daughter and boyfriend, 27 years and my son and his friend both 15 years stayed 10 nights. Check in was great and the receptionist so helpful and friendly. The food is fantastic so we paid for half board for 6 nights. It was 26 euros per person per day which compared with eating out was roughly the same but the quality of food and choice was unreal. The pool bar with Mery and Maria was outstanding. Food there also lovely and the cocktails!!! They work so very hard and were a bit short staffed but you wouldn't have noticed as the manager was often helping out. Always a smile. The evening bar was great. Amazing cocktails again and staff brilliant. Mini disco for the kids was great because of the staff, he had so much energy and was fantastic with the kids. Entertainment really good. Pool area was spotless and small pool so safe for little ones with the staff entertaining the kids for ages through the day. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much for the best time.

We stayed here in 2014 and thought we would return, so glad we did. When we first arrived we got a pool view room on 4th floor but we didn't like it and requested to be moved and were given room 524, great spacious corner room on 5th floor directly above main entrance. We stayed in this side before and much prefer it to pool view as no noise and cooler. Room had very comfortable beds, best we have had abroad. Only fault we had was with cleaning it was very, very poor. Our beds weren't changed until day 8 and the general standard of cleaning was very poor. We did report this to reception but it didn't really affect our stay.

There are so many good points about these apartments but the main one is the staff. Maria at reception, older lady short hair is amazing and provides such a Hugh kevel of customer service. All the poolside bar staff are amazing especially Jesus, Mary and Arslan who all worked there last time we visited. Also the animation team Martin and Pablo, two great guys who work tirelessly to keep us amused. We also love that you can come down at 10am and find a sunbed where you want, actually anytime of the day you will find one. The air con in the rooms is excellent too. We were self catering but the pool side bar lunch menu was amazing and the restaurant breakfast and dinner was very tasty.

The location of the apartments is excellent, 10min walk yo beach and 5 mins to main Alcudia strip. We visited Champions for dinner, HUGE portions, the upstairs Chinese on the strip and Julios for crepes. We went to the shine bar quite a few nights as our kids loved the entertainment and bingo etc. Alcudia beach is amazing for famalies with children, beautiful sand and so shallow until far out. We also walked to the port area and visited alcudia old town which is really beautiful and has amazing restaurants.

Overall we would definitely stay here again as a great self catering base for the family. This complex is quite small so I felt very safe with the children they could not go anywhere. Thank you for an amazing holiday, excellent customer service and allowing us to make more amazing memories. Love Sol de Alcudia and hopefully we will see you again soon.

Just come home from Apartmentos Sol De Alcudia with my son, absolutely brilliant, immaculate rooms and reception, bars and pool area. We were practically the first to get there since reopening after two years. The staff were so friendly, best staff I can remember in a hotel. All staff wearing masks this week, good Covid practice everywhere, constantly cleaning tables etc. The Gin bar has a great selection of not just gins but whiskies too, food is good too. If I tried to find anything negative it would only be the location, quite restricted on eating places around the area but this is because everywhere is only just opening again, quite a few places being set up. Supermarket spar near by. Little bit of noise from a local bar but it stopped at midnight and it was only one night, perhaps as it gets busier that may change but all in all a fantastic holiday and also the day entertainment chap, Martin, brilliant with organising things to do for kids. Excellent, thanks .

We absolutely loved our family holiday at this hotel. The hotel was clean, the bedroom/apartment was a good size, and all of the staff were just lovely and helpful. Our room overlooked the pool and (despite what some other reviews say) even when the entertainment was on we didn't find it overly noisy at night and could easily sleep. The view from the balcony of the mountains and nearby lake were lovely.

We had breakfast each day and it was cooked perfectly and had a very good variety of choice, including for vegetarians. On the last day we left too early to get breakfast and they made us a lovely take-away breakfast.

The pool area was a nice size and was clean and not too busy and warm enough (it was annoying that most of the sunbeds were covered with people's towels each day, even when not being used, but that happens at most hotels and must be difficult to deal with... I suggest that as some other hotels do, they shut the pool for 30 minutes mid day and require all towels to be removed at that point).

The location of the hotel is good, a 10 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach and a 5 minute walk away from decent small shops. For anyone that's self catering, there is a Lidl which is a 15 minute walk away and we wish we'd known that sooner as theres so much choice of food there (there's a Burger King just near Lidl too!).

Evening entertainment was great. We loved the kareoke, lots of fun and so many talented children and adults. The bar was good, and service was great. Reception staff were also very helpful.

Air conditioning in the bedroom was nice and cool - sometimes a bit too cool and would have been good to have a slightly less cold setting during the night (we had to turn it off as our sons were getting too cold, but then we were getting too hot when it was turned off).

There's a nearby lake that has some great exercise machines next to it, you mightnt think of going to see the lake but its worth it, our 14 and 11 year old sons and us enjoyed it. The Old Town is worth a visit too.

Overall, we really liked the hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting Alcudia.

Just back after a family holiday in Alcudia. Cannot fault the hotel at all, we had a great stay - very clean, lovely staff. Rooms were regularly serviced (although 1 tip for the hotel is they could supply a small brush/dustpan kit rather than waiting on cleaners).

Pool is on the small side and quite busy but always had a lounger (tiles around pool very slippy when wet). The entertainment and pool bar/restaurant team were brilliant.

Noise was not an issue for us at all while we were there despite the hotel being fully booked - unsure why previous posters would have listed this as a problem.

I recently spent a week with my mother in this resort. We had a studio room which was basic but clean and functional.
The room was cleaned daily, we opted for self catering as like to try the local restaurants which are ample in the surrounding areas, there is food served at the hotel also and was very nice and reasonable.
The entertainment is hosted by Martin a very lovely gentleman who has bags of positive energy for the kids and adults nothing is to much for him and a yoga class by the pool daily.
Then you have the lovely Arslan on the bar, what a lovely gentleman he really made us feel at home we had lots of lovely drinks made and lots of conversation again nothing was to much making our stay memaroble.
Then reception a very helpful gentleman Lluis advicing us on local places and trips out all the staff at this hotel work really hard and aim to please.
Would definitely go back, very reasonably priced and close to beach

The apartments are situated approx 10 minute flip-flop walk from the main beach in Alucudia. The apartment itself has a kitchenette, two single beds pushed together and a smaller single couch/bed which is ok but not the most comfortable to sleep on. We had a view on the pool side and the noise does continue well into the late night around 1am but this is also from the surrounding hotels/bars.
Food wise there is room for improvement which is why I have only given it 4/5. The restaurant buffet food for breakfast and dinner is bland with not much taste and is not very appealing at the same time being quite dry. The lunchtime à la carte menu is freshly made and is of better quality.
What makes the hotel a good stay however are the staff. From the Restaurant staff; Jesus, Mary, Andrea & Mar (+ more) to the Barmen Diego and Arslan and of course the guys in charge of the entertainment Martin and Pablo who bring everyone together to have lovely time. Keep up the good work guys.

This was our first trip to this hotel and our experience from checking in to checking out was a stress free experience. Maria on reception was exceptional good at what she does explained in detail everything we needed to know. The safe in the room is €25 for a week with a €5 deposit which is refundable on check out. We went self catering and there was everything you needed if you wanted to cook light breakfast and lunch we ate out every evening. The restaurant downstairs we ate in twice also great value. The hotel itself and our room were spotless the cleaning team works very hard and it reflects on the hotels appearance. Our cleaner Barbara was very good and very helpful with a few requests I had she should get a mention. There were plenty of sun beds and no towels on them without bodies I’m not saying it’s doesn’t happen but not while we were there the only negative comment I can make were all the inflatables in the swimming pool not the kids but the adults the pool is quiet small and it was taken over with balls flamingos rubber rings dolphin you name it the pool had them. My husband is recovering from knee surgery and physio was swimming hence he only got in to swim once and that was 5.30;pm so that is why I’ve given 4 stars . In my opinion because of the size of the pool this should be addressed by the hotel the life guard did not bat a eyelid slept most of the day otherwise I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday with my 14 year old daughter.
I had requested a quiet room after reading some reviews about noise so thankfully that wasn't an issue. We had booked self catering so only had lunch a couple of times in the restaurant and dinner once ... Food was fine but nothing spectacular. Room was small but functional and cleaning staff did a great job - clean sheets and towels almost every day. Air Conditioning was a godsend too ... Not too loud and kept the room cool enough to sleep at night.
Pool was lovely and plenty of sunbeds but I think they could have done with a few more parasols as there was none available if you weren't by the pool early. Pablo and Martin were very entertaining but it would have been nice if there were events aimed at teenagers.
Location was great .. Just a few minutes walk from the main strip.
Overall, the hotel was fantastic .. I'd definitely go back
