We have not long returned from a week all inclusive (group of 6) and can say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel!

The bar staff and entertainment teams by far are the best part of the whole hotel! They really made our stay extra special. The bar staff got to know our order and made drinks just to our liking! We never had to wait long at the bar or for table service and we were greeted with smiles every time as we became regulars at the bar! Chamberlain was super helpful explaining the menu when we arrived, along with Jose, Migel, Alex and many others who were all so friendly.

The entertainment team were amazing and always up for a laugh! Special shout out to Shawn for making us feel so welcome and relaxed and for of course having us in fits of laughter every time we saw him! Kuba and all the ladies were lovely and chatty and got us involved in activities without being too pushy! All 6 of us felt that we would return purely for our experience with the entertainment and bar staff! These teams are definitely a credit to the hotel and all deserve every bit of praise they get!

The hotel was clean, modern and had a luxurious but relaxed vibe. The room was cleaned daily to a good standard and reception tried their best to help with enquiries (even tho there were a few misunderstandings when we asked about local activities). I only wish there was more information about local excursions/amenities as Jet2 rep was not about at convenient times.
The food was ok, a little hit and miss. Some days food was great other days it was cold and a bit miss match. Breakfast was always good and the puddings! The restaurant staff were efficient in cleaning empty plates but not so much at offering drinks on arrival. We often saw other tables offered wine and hot drinks (breakfast) but we were only asked once in the whole week if we wanted drinks.

The location of the hotel is beautiful! Being able to walk straight onto the beach was amazing and the sea was so clear! It was a 50 minute slow walk from the main alcudia port along the beach but taxis around €10 each way so not bad. The sky bar is not included in all inclusive and quite pricey for drinks as it is open to the public, however we still felt it was worth a visit for the breathtaking views and good music!

Over all a great stay, lots of memories made and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed but fun holiday.

We visited this hotel years ago and loved it we couldn’t fault it at all. We decided to return with our kids as we loved it so much.

Little things let the hotel down wasn’t offered a welcome drink at all yet they have a lovely stand with champagne on view but don’t bother to offer you one. No bed guards at all huge let down when there are tiled floors in the room. In the restaurant you can have bottled water but don’t try and take it out with you as you will get stopped. If you ask for cava in the restaurant we got told to get from
Reception (welcome area ) wow don’t try this lady shouts at you infront of guests that it’s for new guests arriving only. The restaurant offers a children’s area with plastic plates and cutlery but it’s full of forks and about 4 spoons and knives why bother offering the service? About 5/6 things are labelled the rest is guess work in the restaurant

Entertainment -started too late in my opinion 8.30 kids and 9pm for adults this also included waiting till 9.30 some nights when bingo was played.

The real bad point for us, our 1 year old fell out of the travel cot and hit her head she had a lump the size of a golf ball on her forehead we had to take her to hospital and she had to go into the emergency room to be monitored and have a x Ray. When we returned to the hotel we asked if had any proper wooden cots they didn’t , no bed guards either. So basically we had to sleep with a one year old in our bed and take it in turns for the rest of the holiday to have sleep. I actually said this to the man on reception and he said
Didn’t know what to suggest. Unbelievable.
Also I would like to add not once did the hotel check that our daughter was ok , so a family with a young baby ask for taxi straight away to hospital and you don’t think to check that she was ok sorry but this is terrible.

Good points the staff in restaurant very friendly and always chatted to our girls. Some of the bar men were great but one man was useless he had to keep asking others what we wanted.

We loved this hotel and it’s such a shame small things let it down and we won’t be returning in the future.

Dear Laura, Thank you for taking some of your precious time to share your impressions about our hotel. We sincerely appreciate your kind words and positive feedback about our restaurant staff. Please be assured that your feedback is important to us and we take it very seriously. Your satisfaction is one of our top priorities and its a truly disheartening to know that you left our hotel with a negative impression. We would like to offer you our most sincere apologies for having made you feel disappointed with our costumer services during on that night when she fell out of the travel cot and hit her head. Rest assured that it has been communicated with the team to ensure that corrective action has been taken. This is the first case and so far there has never been a problem with our baby beds. For this reason we was not prepared to offer you a wooden cot. But constructive criticism, both positive and negative, is always welcome at the Hotel Condesal. It helps us improve where improvement is needed, repair where it is needed, and take pride in what is worth being recognized. We unfortunately will not be able to change the past, but I do hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back at Hotel Condesa and allow us to showcase the quality of service we are known for. Sincerely yours, Andrea Horvathova Public Relation Hotel Condesa

My wife and I have just returned from a week at the Hotel Condesa and plan to return in the future. The hotel is clean throughout and they have all the reasonable Covid measures in place which are enforced at the bar with a no mask no service policy, in the evenings there is table service and I have to say the staff are very good and at no point were we left waiting for a drink, a special mention goes to Marina, Estoban and Najim who worked very hard but always with a smile which can’t be easy. The evening entertainment was of a higher standard than most hotels in Spain we have visited and there is a daily activity program for children and adults, this isn’t really our thing but those taking part seemed to enjoy themselves, this was largely down to Kuba (aka K-Dog) whose energy and personality was infectious, like the other staff he also always seemed to be working but also always had a few minutes to talk to anyone, young or old, if you ask him he will put premier league matches on the big screens inside or out depending on what else is going on. We took most of our meals in the main restaurant and generally on the terrace which was run by Najim who was fantastic, the food was extremely varied everyday and there was such a selection it was difficult to decide what to have, the quality and availability was again above the average we have experienced. We had a problem on arrival which we were very anxious about, on check in, which was the easiest and quickest I have ever experienced, we were greeted by Javier who gave the solution to our issue and in seconds allayed our fears and concerns, not only does he know all aspects of his job and the hotel but he has a calming demeanour that instantly sets you at ease. The cleaning staff were constantly at work around the hotel and grounds and did an excellent job to a high standard. The location of the hotel is directly on the beach we spent our days watching the sea and the water sports as well as a couple of walks into Alcudia (5k). The only disappointment we had was that even as all inclusive guests we had to pay full price for drinks in the Sky Bar which sadly meant we only spent an hour there which was a shame as we were looking forward to using the bar every night, perhaps the hotel should look at this policy with maybe consider a buy one get one free approach, it is for the reason that we have given a 4 star rating.

Overall 2 out of 5 is still very good review for this hotel, bearing in mind issues with water (see no.17) you can read below.

Negative

1) 10 to 15 mins waiting at reception for any request, they need more people there not only 2

2) 10 euro for towel, pay at reception then you get voucher which you give at the pool to get towel, when you leave they return money

3) At the Beach you pay for pink sunlounges 13.5 euro per day (couple) and only allowed is private bed not from hotel or towel on the beach as it is property of government

4) No kettle, no tea or coffee in the room

5) Tiny old fashion TV with 99.9 % channels in Spanish and German only, 1 in English

6) For top roof bar Romanov you pay even in all inclusive package

7) Mini bar you pay 22 euro if you want them to fill up, better off to go to supermarket and buy for over 50% less

8) Pool table 2 euro

9) Safe you pay over 3.6 euro per day

10) Some children toys like seat in shaky car is payable too !!

11) Hotel should give masks at check in ( like other hotels) – you get in restaurants or reception if you ask only

12) Covid rules should be better like disposable gloves in the restaurants and temp check cameras ( seen it in other hotels i visited), spacing inbetween sun beds too, here they don’t care but they require 2m spacing in queue, seriously 0_o

13) If someone gets covid whole hotel will get it as people are stuck next to each other around the pool

14) Not all items on the drinks menu are in all inclusive, most you need to pay

15) Constantly coming locals trying to sell, not the hotel fault but if you are at the beach and 20 times someone comes and try to sell that piece of fabric or massage etc you will get annoyed

16) People reserved sun beds before 7am and come back after 10am – annoying, i reported it and they still did not put any notice around pool that it is prohibited so you need to do the same to have some sun beds

17) You are not allowed to take water ( other drinks, food too) from restaurant/bar I was stopped and water was taken from me, so what I supposed to drink over night and early morning? As they don’t supply with tea / coffee facilities and don’t give any water in a bottle from bar, ridiculous!!

18) No chair at desk in the room so ladies needs to do make up standing

Positive

1) Top roof bar Romanov, very nice view

2) Food very tasty

3) Clean hotel

4) They are very generous with pouring alcohol so be careful as you may get drunk quickly 😉

Tips

- There is supermarket 5mins walk from hotel so go and buy water as they will not give you any water or allow you to take in glass to room. Have seen many people with cases of water bought in supermarket and later i got it why

- Bring cash as you need to pay for towel in cash

Dear Marcin, Thank you for taking some of your precious time to share your impressions about our hotel on Tripadvisor. We appreciate the kind remarks, and we are glad you enjoyed our restaurants. Our top priority is to take care of our guests, and we are glad you acknowledged our commitment in maintaining clean and safe accommodations in these challenging times. Your satisfaction is one of our top priorities and its a truly disheartening to know that you left our hotel with a negative impression. In the high season our hotel obviously has many more guests than at other times of the year and there may be certain moments and specific times of day when guests may have to wait a little longer to be attended at the reception. We are very sorry that you had to wait longer than usual. Regarding the COVID-19 issue, we have carried out and trained all employees, long before the opening of the establishment; This has been to comply with the requirements demanded by the competent health authority and so far continuously changing, according to the latest criteria received from the Ministry of Health and the recommendations of the Mallorca Hotel Federation. Despite our verbal or pictorial indications, there are people who do not take charge of the relevance of this situation. However, we continue to try and advise on a daily basis, both to the establishment's staff, as well as to the hotel's own clients or passing visitors. Because of the Covid 19 regulations guests are not allowed to take any beverage or food from the restaurants. Please let me clarify that it’s not allowed to reserve any sun lounges and for this reason all over the pool area there are many signs. We take all guest feedback very seriously, and we're constantly working to improve all aspects of our service and facilities. We unfortunately will not be able to change the past, but I do hope that you will give us the opportunity to welcome you back at Hotel Condesa and allow us to showcase the quality of service we are known for. We wish you all the best until then. Andrea Horvathova Public Relation Hotel Condesa

We stayed 4 nights in two sea view rooms. This hotel is certainly not for us. It’s crowded with people everywhere all the time. The rooms are dated and actually a bit depressing and in a lot of need of TLC. Sun beds by the pool are reserved in the early mornings and sun beds on the beach needs to be pre booked the day before. I’m very glad we only had breakfast included cause the restaurant was like a battlefield of people and tables full of dishes that no staff had time to clear. Staff, except for one man in the reception, looks like their work is a punishment. No close by restaurants for lunch, there are a few if you walk along the main street but the most restaurants and shops are 1,5-2 km away. We had a car so we left in the morning and had breakfast elsewhere and just returned for sleep. Sleep would had been easier if walls and doors was not made of paper, you could not only hear your neighbors talk, you could loud and clear hear exactly what they said, when they sneeze, snore etc. And housekeeping starts knocking, and entering the room in the same second, at 8 am so don’t forget the do not disturb-sign.

Maybe our kids are too old for this, 12 and 16, but I don’t understand how anyone can call that vacation.

+ comfy beds
+ nice rooftop (above 16 years)
+ nice beach
+ variety of breakfast
+ parking just outside

This is our second visit and cannot wait to return. First was in August 2021 when restrictions where just lifted and more recent 6th May. Hotel did not disappoint and it was great to see some familiar faces. Our holiday was amazing from start to finish. As we had a birthday to celebrate we had emailed the hotel prior to this about the possibility of an upgrade. Unfortunately the upgrade we wanted could only be booked if booking directly with the hotel however on arrival and after speaking with the General Manager Toni he said to leave it with him. He definitely did his very best and we got upgraded to the best room in the hotel for the last 3 nights complimentary. Whilst the rooms we have stayed in previously have been spotless and comfortable the presidential Suite was something else and definitely was the highlight of our stay.

Food was of a high standard with plenty of choice and we preferred eating at the restaurant by the pool for breakfast. There is also a snack bar serving the usual burgers, nuggets, fries and it was so handy if you just wanted to grab something quickly. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the al a carte restaurant where staff went over and beyond for the birthday celebration. We cannot thank Siad enough for insisting we ate there for the birthday celebrations rather than eat out of the hotel. Anna looked after our every need during this time and her attention to detail was something else.

There was a great selection of drinks in the all inclusive package and Daniel head barman was always on hand for the banter and service with a smile. Must also mention Anna again who continued to give a high standard of service in the bar and buffet restaurant. As we choose to sit at the beach front this time there was a waiter went around frequently to refill your drinks so no need to move from sunbed. Juan was our favourite and by the end of the holiday he didn’t even have to ask what we wanted.

The hotel is situated right on the beach front and whilst the sea was still cold this time of year once you got in it was lovely. You could definitely feel the temperature getting hotter.

No need to bring your own pool towels as these are supplied with a refundable deposit of €10 each. The pool was still quite cold and no inflatables allowed. Lots of beds and umbrellas available throughout the day.

Whilst this hotel seems to attract more European guests I would encourage anyone in the uk or Ireland wanting to travel to this part of the island do not pass The Condesa.

Finally would like to thank all of the staff for a memorable and enjoyable stay and we hope to get back in August this year.

We stayed at Hotel Condesa almost 4 years ago in August 2018 (My review is a little delayed) with 5 adults and 2 children ages 3 and 7 years young.
Upon arrival, which was just after 9pm, the Reception staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I noticed how clean the Reception area was. As we had booked an All-inclusive stay for 1 week, they quickly booked us in and then guided us in to the restaurant to have dinner, even though it was almost closing time.
Our 3 hotel bedrooms which were next door to each other, were very clean and a good decent size. Beds were very comfortable and showers nice, clean and had little toiletries on display. Towels were clean too. Rooms were cleaned everyday and beds made neatly.
The views from the rooms were side view of the sea and green trees which we found lovely and peaceful.
The kids absolutely loved the children's pool which included slides and big birds and animals with water coming out of them. The adult pools were very nice and big. Bar area was nice and the staff very extremely nice and friendly. The staff at the Children's pool were really nice and offered chicken nuggets and chips daily. Different activities also took place such as face painting and games.
The night shows on stage were very entertaining and really got the crowd involved.
I must state that the restaurant food was exceptional and had so much different variety and all drinks were free i.e. various wines & soft drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very nice and enjoyable and you could sit anywhere outside in the sun.
The beach was just opposite the hotel past the swimming pools and clean and very convenient to relax on or just go for a nice stroll on the white sandy beach. The sea was a beautiful eye catching Blue/Green/Turquoise colour and you could walk quite far in to it without it feeling deep. Very clean water. Lots to do and places to visit such as the Old town day and night with a local bus nearby.
This hotel was the perfect choice for my family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We still have so many fond memories of our stay the lovely, kind staff.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again!!
Perfect holiday and very very happy with everything. Could not fault a single thing!! Very child friendly too. Safe environment. Beautiful surroundings all around.

I arrived here with my almost 4 year old son mid July for 7 nights. At check in the staff were warm and welcoming and we were greeted with a nice cold glass of water for my son and a glass of cava for me. Nice touch I thought. The entertainment at the hotel is superb, a different show every night. Quality performances and singers. I loved the Tina Turner night and the Gypsy kings act as a guitar player too I appreciated the guitar playing.! Access to beach is direct from a secure ‘scan room card’ at access beach door by the adult pool. 3 decent pools, 2 for children, one geared at babies and toddlers and another with bigger slides for the over 6’s with lifeguard watch. Really reassuring knowing you have extra later your kids are safe in the water. The loveliest touch were the ‘toddler toilets and toddler height sinks and soap dispensers for little hands. All spotless each day. Ice cream cones reasonable at 1 euro 50 at bar. The kids especially love the ice cold slushes in blue or red all 2 euros. We went half board instead of all inclusive but includes all local soft drinks , wine by the glass and Estella on tap which is unlimited. Great touch. Food was varied, tasty and catered for all including vegetarians. The cakes were absolutely scrumptious. The salad bar was great lots of choice and fresh strawberries with pancakes was a lovely touch. My son loved the pool slides kept him entertained all day and loved the kids disco. They have a roof top bar 6th floor ( over 16’s only) went up to have a look wow the views were sublime Drinks were served quickly despite being a large hotel of 400 + rooms. The location is about 10 minute walk into local shops and restaurants. The beach is gorgeous and the hotel is very well positioned steping from pool to sand so near. We would definately go back. The only critisism is the Wi-Fi is frustrating as each time I wanted to send a WhatsApp or make a call I had to reconnect each time which was a little irritating. And one day the towels for the pool were not available after breakfast. They had an issue with laundry that day?? Also may be take out the pebble dash walls on the bedroom a little old fashioned! Other than that very happy. The staff make it too! Work so hard.

Dear elaineaN7394XW, Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience with us! We are thrilled to hear that you had the best holiday in a long time and that you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay with us. It's fantastic to hear that you found our staff warm and welcoming upon check-in, and we're glad you appreciated the little touches like the cold glass of water for your son and the glass of cava for yourself. We're delighted that you enjoyed the superb entertainment, the variety of pools catering to different age groups, and the direct access to the beach. We're also pleased that you enjoyed the food options, including the tasty cakes and the salad bar, and that your son had a great time with the pool slides and kids disco. The rooftop bar sounds like it provided breathtaking views, and we're glad you enjoyed the drinks and the service there. Thank you for your feedback regarding the Wi-Fi and the availability of pool towels. We will certainly look into these issues to ensure a smoother experience for our guests in the future. Your comments about the bedroom walls are duly noted, and we appreciate your suggestions for improvement. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay with us, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable stay in the future! Best regards, Andrea Horvathova Public Relation Hotel Condesa

The staff at the hotel are 5*. They are helpful, friendly and couldn’t do enough to help and make your holiday the best it could be.

The sky bar is lovely, not included as a part of the all inclusive programme, but not a problem for us as the view is worth it and the drinks were fairly priced and enjoyable.

The hotel itself needs some TLC in terms of keeping the pool areas clean and bringing the rooms up to a modern standard. We found the rest of the hotel didn’t really match the standards set by the sky bar. The umbrellas by the pool I think all need replacing as were all broken when we tried to use them.

We found the breakfast buffet cold 4 days out of 4, unless you got the crepes. We tried arriving at opening time and that made little difference.

We weren’t all inclusive, so ate out most of the time, but did have lunch at the hotel on our last day. This was very good value at €15 per person, there was plenty there all hot and fresh so was impressed with that.

All in all, we had a good short break at the Condesa. We probably wouldn’t return based on the walking distance to the port, and the little things that didn’t live up to the 4* rating.

We’ve just had a weeks break here at hotel Condesa and could not fault the hotel one bit.

When we walked in we was amazed by the attention to detail and how clean the hotel was. Looks just like the pictures.

The room was spotless and cleaned daily which I was very happy with and the view from the balcony of the pool and sea was beautiful.

The food was good deserts were okay maybe more could be offered however we did manage to find a pudding to eat each night with ice cream always offered. Loved the fresh fruit everyday and the warm bread.

All the staff were lovely and friendly and always went above and beyond, all the staff work tremendously hard and it shows with how quick and efficient things are.

The bar staff were all very lovely and worked so quickly making drinks so you never was waiting long for a drink even in the hot weather and busy evenings.
Lots on offer for the all inclusive.

We did go to the sky bar one evening, found the drinks up there to be a bit expensive but the views and the atmosphere up there was lovely.

The pool was a bit cold however once in there it was nice, lots of sun loungers and brollies. I loved how you have immediate access to the beach, the beach may I add was beautiful, clear blue water and white sands.

I can’t wait to come back here throughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone!!
