Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited here with my family in July. I am only writing the review now as it has taken me this long to get a full refund (thanks to Barclays). We did a lot of research before we decided where to book. We looked at photos, reviews, the works! Loved that Belle vue had slides for the kids, and self catering option for such an affordable price. We book the deluxe rooms as we hadn’t been away for a while and wanted to treat ourselves. The holiday was for my disabled mum, two kids (2 and 6), and two other adults. We checked in and drove over to where our rooms were (the complex is massive, cars parked anywhere and everywhere. The place looked run down and like an abandoned butllins). We left our luggage in the cars to check the room out. Upon entering the room we was hit with a stench of damp, making it hard to breath. There was a plug socket hanging off the wall, puddles of water in the kitchen and bathroom, cobwebs everywhere, dust In the wardrobes. I could go on. See photos for what we were faced with. My sister went to reception (each apartment block has its own reception and you have a main reception where you check in) to ask if we could be moved. They gave her a key to another room. This rooms door had been kicked in and fridge pulled out and smashed on the floor. She went back to reception and they said to go to the main reception. Off we went to the main reception where there were a few groups of people waiting to speak to the manager. Clearly we were not the only ones with issues with out room. After speaking with the manager we was offered to downgrade our top of the range room (if you can call it that) to a different section of the complex. If this was what the top of the range room looked like what would this room be like. The room we was given was meant to be newly refurbished! We declined and asked for a full refund. We was told we had to speak to booking.com to get it resolved. After going back and forth it was agreed we would get a full refund. We was given our tourist tax refund and was told we would get our refund for the four nights stay. We then had to find somewhere to stay in the height of the summer holidays. Lucky we had a hirer car and a credit card to put the purchase on. We then spent the next four months (including on our holiday) speaking with booking.com and the hotel trying to get our money back. The clause with booking.com has is its down to the hotel to represent their hotel and what they don’t tell you is that you need it in writing from the hotel before they can releases any refund. The cheek of Belle Vue was they tried charging us one nights stay although we didn’t stay there, had proof we booked somewhere else, and the stress and financial hardship they put us in to book somewhere else due to the unacceptable accommodation they are providing. Booking.con team all tell you something different. Make sure you get everything in writing. Belle Vue are money grabbing horrid people and need to invest in the upkeep of their complex. It should be quality over quantity. They are really out of depth with the size of the complex. I know holidays are now really expensive but stay anywhere but here!!!

Hotel's Favourite
Well what a great holiday. Myself, wife daughter, grandkids 8 & 4 we had 2 rooms 1 family room and 1 double. All inclusive for 2 weeks. Firstly dont listen to all the negative comment this was great. Yes the resort is a little tired in places Family room was in older block but great size, clean with kitchen Double room in adjacent block has been ungraded and was beautifully done so no complaits about rooms. Staff were very friendly, and when daughter had issue with shower we told reception at 2pm by 6 shower replace, great service. Hotel site is over a large area and until you get your bearing if feels alittle daunting, one thing if you arrive at night have your torch ready as we went wrong in the daylight getting to our block. 2 dinning rooms, we were assigned the smaller one, 3 star buffet food you can always find something to eat yes bit samey if you have lunch and dinner but cant complain about anything... there was always pizza, pasta, salad, meats, veg, rice, kids area and loads of sweets ice cream and jelly, great for the grandkids. We believe the larger dinning room gets a bit manic at certain times but done think that unique, happens everywhere. Location was fantastic 10 min walk to beach, 20 with a 4 yr old right along the 'strip, as we called it all the bars restaurants and shops. Pools you have a choice of 5 or 6, we generally stayed at the pool between out rooms, older pool but fantastic size. Yes a little tried compared to all the others, which have been updated to a fantastic standard. You still have same problem of saving sunbeds as everywhere in the world but there are alot of them, we generally are not early risers so we never had beds but people leave and you will always eventully have beds really wasnt a problem for us. Each pool has a bar, drinks as much as you like from 11 until 6 never queued for more than a few mins as they have a 3 drink pp rule which works really we. Great idea yes if you are 4 or 5 group you just make 2 trips, not a problem. Snack bars open from 11 so basically you can eat all day, Burger, hotdogs etc available all day. Now then at the other side of hotel the waterpark. What a place, included in you hotel, slides, pool and splashpark all new this year beautifully updated, great investment from the hotel. That area is alot busier so be prepared. Also the hotel very kindly lets anybody use it so it dose get busy. Again we never waited for more than a few mins to get on a slide. Brilliant it was. Feel a little sorry for hotel as the investment is great but have a few little design issues but sure they will sort out in the off season. What a fantstic area for young and old. My only 2 little gripes, toilets at pool areas are in the hotel blocks, which if fine, but up near waterpark, is so busy, they get heavy usage so could do with more regular cleaning. Other little gripe, from 6 the only place to get your all inc drinks is the entertainment area 3 bars but The queue's are long so be prepared, we only did the entertainment 3 times so overall cant really comment good or bad. So in summary, great location, large complex so nothing felt really busy, rooms great, food good what more can I say would definitely return thank you Bellevue for a great 2 week holiday!

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, everything was kept clean and tidy and the staff worked hard at ensuring you enjoyed your stay! The food was of good quality and plentiful however there was not very much local cuisine on offer in the evening which was a little disappointing. The swimming pools on site are perfect for kids and adults alike and we had loads of fun around the water park area. We would definitely return in the future!

I can't quite understand this place's negative reviews as my stay was amazing. We first got there at 2 am and went to get checked in. After they told us what room we were in, we headed to the building (Minerva 1). When we got there it was filled with ants all over the floor so we went back to the reception and asked for a room change which they were more than happy to do. After getting the new room, we got ready and you could see the size of the place from the balcony. We were there for 7 days and there was stuff to do each of the days as there are many different pools outside each building. The food can get repetitive but there is always enough for snacks etc... I really enjoyed the nighttime show that they put on which is good if you have kids and even for adults at later times. Staff were friendly.

So my review of the bellvue . I was given a map at 12pm told brief description to find my own way like I am sorry but this is so bad a hotel doing this to families with luggage. I have never witnessed ever in a hotel very poor basic food who doesn't have a kids section when your stating your family friendly hotel . On my stay the children's play park slide was closed off , nobody could go down 2 water slides closed off . Never went in pool as it looked dirty with leafs in and muck daily . I went past reception on day 1 seen people coach to go home now I know why they were happy to leave the place . Found some of the staff not very helpful. Me and my partner went out for food 1 night and in the restaurant the man said we all call the bellevue the HELLVUE took few days but we could see why. I know its 3* you get what you pay but the standards this hotel delivers them is 2* no towels meaning you have to go on 20 minute walk for fresh towels to reception. Would I return no but would definitely look in to club mac .

We have just returned from a week away at Hotel Belle Vue we arrived late at night to a warm welcome from reception and clear instructions to our accommodation with a map .The room was spotless and spacious with a side room off the bedroom with a sofa bed our 8 year old decided he wanted sofa bed in side room maybe a light in here would be helpful and my wife and i slid the 2 singles together maybe a catch to lock them in place would be good they tend to drift apart .bathroom again was spotless and large shower was great. House keepers cleaned room 3 times throughout the week only once did they forget to leave bath towels but a quick trip to reception soon had problem resolved .We was all inclusive so ate in buffet restaurant for the week we was really surprised on the choice available for breakfast ,lunch and dinner the restaurant did get busy but we never had to wait for a table and yes there was a queue for your food but we didn't mind gives us chance to talk to other guests and decide what to eat from all the choice( the fish was amazing ) the days we didn't eat lunch at the buffet we ate by the pool hotdogs burgers and chips was offered which was great .We thought the pool staff life guards and all other staff very polite pool staff was very friendly and by the end of our stay new our drink order . To sum up we loved our stay here after reading some negative reviews decided that you cant please everyone but we would happily book again for another year i know some of the apartments need an update im sure now its closed for winter break the staff will work hard to update the areas that need a little work maybe some path lights to see in the dark We will return

Do not visit awful so run down I was 1 of them people that didn't listen to the reviews ignored it and its bad . I checked in on Saturday 10pm I was put in Minerva block I was giving map no clear instructions were to go I had to pull suit case in the dark could hardly see. Got to room absolutely disgusting hairs on the bed sweet packets on the floor people in corridor screaming drunk we left the room straight away pulled cases back to reception told them I not staying there I upgraded paid money which I thought was disgusting having to pay for room i should of been given clean room up to the stands in first place. I was given Fedra block pulled the cases another 20 minutes wouldn't be surprised if I need new case after this holiday. Got to corridor Fedra block massive heavy thing hanging off the wall so dangerous could fall on child, lift was off people carrying cases and pram upstairs. But what a difference fedra block is so clean and nice comfortable room no noise . I was all inclusive but it was like walking in to feeding time at the zoo going in the restaurant it was so busy you had to be quick for a table queue 10 minutes for food queue for drinks then to change cutlery cause its dirty not my ideal kind of holiday I have had better meals on long haul flight thats saying something but each to their own. I ate out every day after that as that food was disgusting. If your after an all inclusive and be spolit for choice this is not the hotel very basic to me it was like old mother Hubbard kitchen !!!!same cheap basic food everyday pasta, rice, chips runny bolognese sauce no meat in meat station chicken wings that were pink with bones in no good for kids pork chops .No kids section .snack bar burgers hot dogs chips everyday. Never seen any of the staff actually look happy to be there. The staff at snack bar rude standing talking ignoring people then you order drinks to have to repeat your order again cause she didnt hear cause she been talking and laughing . I have never ever lived like this on a holiday I must admit I struggled on day 1 I had a shock what the food was. You get given paper cups constantly dont mind around pool but hard plastic would be better than paper cup .there no were to go for indoor bar for nice pint . Woman at kids entertainment machines is so rude shouting at my son for picking used tickets up he just looking at them . I seen young kids getting served alcohol with pink band on at show garden. Loads mosquitoes. When I checked out there was no hello how was your stay i was i was asked are you checking out! i said yes name that was my check out . Definitely didn't get our money's worth we would not return. Wish I done club mac . Overall alcudia and its beach lovely but the hotel is shocking

Absolutely shocking for a all inclusive holiday poor quality of food snack bars never open and the room are falling apart after paying £2650 for a family of 5 to stay here I would never come back again absolute waste of money put a complaint in to on the beach on arrival as they put 3 of us in on block and my 2 other children in the block next door thinking it was acceptable to do so which I refused only to be told that their hotel provider has not got back to them which is a joke

Have just got back from a 5 night stay, we stayed in fedra 2 , room very modern and clean, maid service twice while we was here, few things walk from block to main restaurant was a pain esp as we had two young children with us gets a bit much for them, all inclusive food well breakfast is fine plenty to choose from, lunch and evening very much the same if you like chicken fish and pork your winning, no choice at all for children but in previous reviews said there was, so not sure as the hotel was closing they have removed this but nothing for kids, parents where struggling trying to find something for kids to eat, think this is wrong !!! Pool bar ok for snacks burgers hot dogs chips, two ladies work so hard there but needs to be cleaned very slippery as kids use it as a cut through from the slides, water and soggy chips on the floor…. Evening entertainment good we enjoyed, mosquito’s horrendous bite to hell with them…. Wouldn’t go back
