The hotel itself is really nice to look at, grounds look stunning, pools are great size & layout and staff very very friendly, however the food wasn't great so we eat out 4nights out of 10 even though we paid for all inclusive. The all inclusive alcohol was cheap versions & not that nice very mock tasting. No food available after 3pm even to buy at bar if you needed a snack for kids other than icecream or crisps, and the crisps or icelollies you had to pay for, so if your kids didn't eat properly at breakfast or lunch then they starve unless you go shopping. Rooms look great & beds very comfortable but maid service was pretty poor and rooms were only cleaned twice & bedding only changed twice during our 10 day stay. We had to request clean towels & soap etc as they failed notice we ran out of soap or clean towels. We had a few dirty drinking glasses in our room & the maids never lifted them, they were there until we left 10 days later, so room sevice on a whole was quite poor.
Pools look nice but they didnt seem to be filtered properly or cleaned regularly & there was alot of debris & grit etc still floating about in the mornings from previous days.
Entertainment wasn't great. We had 2 nights that were decent when they had 2 brothers on singing. The rest of the time it was really just for the kids so very boring for us adult. This hotel caters mostly for Germans, it was actually completely full of Germans who were very very rude. We also had to get up in the morning by 6am to get sunbeds. Not at all ideal as you go away on holiday to relax not to have to set your alarm to make sure you actually have a sunbed by the pool. Not the fault of the jotel to be honest just due to greedy Germans! For this reason on a number of occasions we went to the beach & paid 6.50 euro each for beds. On a positive note the location is fabulous & staff are really great & very friendly & helpful.
Sadly the negatives out way the positives especially the price we paid.
We adore Alcudia but would not book this hotel again unless the price was much much lower & if we did would only use the hotel as a base & not as all inclusive. We did not get our monies worth for this holiday especially as we ended up having to spend a lot of extra money eating out.
Sorry Alcudia Gardens but you need to improve in so many areas to be up to standard to reflect the price. Staff are really great though & so is your location!

Dear Alison, Thank you for taking time out of your day to leave a review. Thank you for your kind words about the appearance of the hotel and its grounds, we work hard to keep it looking its best. It is nice to know that you had a great impression of the hotel and its facilities. We do indeed have big pools and plenty of sunbeds. Please be assured that we have shared your kind feedback with the team regarding the outstanding service they delivered to you upon your stay, your comments echo exactly the experience we wish for our guests. Our entire kitchen team was regretful to read that our buffet did not match your expectations. Our qualified and creative chefs are always eager to improve their services and constantly suggest ways in which they can enhance our buffets. We are challenging ourselves on daily basis. The snack bar is open from 10 am to 6 pm and offers a whole range of tasty foods and drinks. From pizzas and burgers to salads and desserts. We are sorry if you had the impression that this was not an option in the hotel. We are delighted to read that our beds have offered you the comfort you needed. Regarding the cleaning service, we are sorry we did not meet your expectations. If you would like something cleaned that might have been missed, please tell reception so they can pass the message on. We take comments like yours about a lack of cleanliness in our pool area very seriously. Our cleaning staff is required to follow specific protocols when cleaning the pool every evening. We are very sorry that it was not followed properly during your stay. We must say that we were very surprised to read your comment about our entertainment programme, as this element is usually highly appreciated by our guests. We sincerely regret that you did not find something to your liking in the wide selection offered during your stay. Lastly, we regret that you had the impression that our hotel is only for Germans. In our hotel, we warmly welcome guests of all nationalities and ages, and we always try to offer our best services to all our esteemed guests. Thanks again, we hope your journey home went smoothly. Best wishes, Joan Company and all the team at Alcudia Garden Aparthotel.

Pros - lovely hotel, very clean, great facilities, comfortable beds, superior apartments are well decorated and spacious. Staff are brilliant, always on hand to help and ask questions. Beach is a 30 second walk from the hotel, very close to supermarkets and shops. Bus that takes you to Palma is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and is very cheap €5.55 each (see photo of bus timetable with more information)

Cons - quite far from Palma airport (45 min drive) which means private transfers / taxis are expensive (€140 for a return fare). There are local buses but they only run a few times throughout the day. Hotel has no parking but there are parking spaces around it. Hotel buffet isn’t the best in my opinion, food is very average and I would imagine after eating there more than twice it would get very boring.

We were self catering, which I’d recommend as there as so many supermarkets and great restaurants on the seafront. We ate in the hotel’s restaurant twice (one when we arrived and a second time due to Spain being in lockdown due to Covid-19 so the only food we could get was from the restaurant).

Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and I would definitely come back here!

Dear Olivia, Thanks for choosing to holiday with us at Alcudia Garden Aparthotel. We're really pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us. It really makes our day when our customers post about their positive experience with us and it helps us to keep working on what we do best. We're pleased to hear you enjoyed the recently renovated superior apartments and that there was plenty of space to relax during your stay. The location of our hotel is a strong point as the beach is right on the doorstep and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The current situation in Spain with the COVID-19 has meant a lot of restrictions in businesses and travel, despite that we’re glad you could enjoy your holiday and we hope you arrived home safely. We would be more than happy to welcome you back again soon. Best wishes and take care, from all the team Alcudia Garden Aparthotel

My boyfriend and I booked here for 7 nights with bed and breakfast.

We were put in a beautiful pool view room with a top floor room which we requested after seeing some other reviews on here which I would recommend doing if you can.

This hotel was everything we wanted! It was in such a perfect location so close to the seafront with tonnes of restaurants if you’re not on all inclusive.

The pool was great and featured daily activities such a dancing and games like water polo and volleyball. Although we didn’t join in on every activity, the entertainment team were really enthusiastic.

The hotel bar and pool bar were really reasonably priced and had some great choices for the hot afternoons we spent round the pool.

The breakfast was great and as we’re both vegetarians, we found there to be a lot of options for us - they even had milk alternatives!

The room was lovely and so much bigger than we thought it would be, huge shower and nice bathroom too.

Overall we both thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Garden Aparthotel and would definitely recommend it for young couples. Try to go just bed and breakfast if you can because there are so many lovely restaurants nearby!

We was put into this hotel as our original booking for club mac had been closed. The food was terrible so please don’t use the restaurant, we witnessed the kitchen staff use the same utensils for raw meat and then tried to put cooked meat on our plate without changing to a clean one. A few of the staff were polite but the majority were rude and abrupt, even more so after we had complained about the food. We had 2 nights of entertainment which lasted an hour and the other 5 nights was a quiz, the children where constantly bored and was not included in anything as it was mainly
Spanish people. Please do not go to this hotel if you have children, the area is constantly open to the main roads so it’s not safe apart from the last night where they actually decided to close and lock all the gates (wish they’d of done that the first night). We paid all inclusive yet only received full board (meals between 8-10, 12:30-2 & 6-8) apart from that there was no food available after this time. My children sometimes missed breakfast as we didn’t get up in time so had to go hungry until the dinner. We asked the bar if they had any snacks as it was all inclusive to be told you can have cake after 4pm. All ice lollies where charged which normally you have free with the all inclusive package. We ended up eating out every day. We tried to access the dining area on an evening around 11pm to have a snack but was pushed out by staff saying no the food is not on, this is for people arriving during the night. Everything was closed and finished for 11 so every night we sat on our balcony after that and went to bed. We was also not made aware that most things where closed so no archery available, all massage etc closed so literally it was just the pool available on the days. We ended up walking 30 minutes each day to go to the water park just to escape the horrible atmosphere. English is not welcome at this hotel..

We have taken note of your suggestions. It is very important for us to know our guests’ opinions, since when it comes to planning menus and ingredients lots of time and effort are invested. Our guest tastes play an important part in the decision making process with regard to the improvements to be continuously made. On the other hand, we have guests from different nationalities and we try to adapt our restaurant time to everyone. Naturally we are terribly disappointed that our staff members did not show case the usual level of hospitality which we pride ourselves on and we have shared your feedback with the entire team at he hotel. Regarding the entertainment, during the day and in the afternoon our animation team has different activities for children and adults. With very best regards from all the team here. Location was excellent, just off the Main Street and across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the port and an abundance of restaurants. We booked a premium garden room and were allocated 3025. Check in was quick, €36 euros for a safe for two weeks which we thought was good. Room was lovely although if I’m being picky I thought it may be slightly bigger. The garden was amazing and really handy having extra space with kids. We looked out over the pool. There was two single beds in the bedroom pushed together and a sofa bed in the lounge that we kept down for the duration of our stay. I’ve got to say after two weeks on the sofa bed my backs a bit sore but it wasn’t unbearable. We had a little kitchenette and a coffee machine. Massive wardrobe In the bedroom and another in the lounge which was useful. Bathroom was large and shower was powerful albeit a little slippy at times. The cleaning staff were excellent and friendly and happy to just swap your towels on days you didn’t want a full clean or bed change.
Pools were great, although the first day we got a shock that it’s a sudden drop after the red line. The smaller pool was perfect for little ones. Sunloungers were the usual fight to get one, but the lifeguard does move towels if not occupied. We went for lunch once and came back 40 mins later to find our towels gone.
We were all inclusive and food was varied. Mexican Monday, Asian Wednesday and Balearic Saturday. My favourite was breakfast, a huge spread was available, cereals, bread, yoghurts, hams, cheeses, fruit, pancakes, pastries as well as the usual hot selection, the bacon was lovely. I’m a fussy eater but found something to eat every day, my son loved the pasta station and my daughter ate chips most meal times. My husband will eat anything and tried most things which he enjoyed. We all loved the massive dessert section. One thing I will say is that if you time it wrong the queues can be quite large and overwhelming. I got a bit fed up of them by the end. I’m not sure how the hotel could get around this though. The staff in the dining room and the chefs worked tirelessly. Icecream and drinks are available from the snack bars throughout the day. My kids didn’t want to do the kids club but you could see the animation team worked hard all through the day and evening. We didn’t stay to watch a show, preferring to go out at night.
All in all we’ve had a fabulous stay, and would return. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to put a coffee machine in each block, maybe near the water vending machines, I know we had one in our room but it was quite noisy and often I was up earlier than anyone else but there was nowhere that I knew of that I could go get a coffee to sit on the balcony with . Alcudia garden you have been great!

Dear Susan, How lovely to receive your feedback and see what a great time you had on holiday while staying with us. We really appreciate you having taken the time to share your thoughts on our hotel. We are pleased that you had a wonderful stay with us to which you found the location fabulous. We are delighted to know that the assigned room was to your liking. Our rooms have been renovated with the comfort of our customers in mind Thank you for highlighting the private garden area, the kitchenette and the wardrobe space. We are sorry to hear that the sofa bed did not give you maxim comfort. If you would have asked at reception we could have offered a mattress topper that could have helped. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the excellent cleaning service. Rest assured that we will pass your opinion on to our team. We're so happy to read you could make the most of the hotel's pool, and that you found the right area for you and your children. Thank you very much for your words of praise for our staff and chefs. Our buffet is versatile and always offers fresh food. At breakfast, our live show cooks are happy to prepare fresh dishes for you, and there are freshly squeezed juices ready for you to drink. Dinner times are special in that we offer a range of different theme nights with cooking shows. Our guests like to comment on our food as it is truly enjoyable. We are glad to have been able to also meet your expectations. It’s disappointing to hear that the queues were quite long during your stay with us. Our restaurant does get quite busy, especially during peak season. Thank you again for this heartwarming review. We hope to see you again very soon. Best wishes, Joan Company and all the team at Alcudia Garden Aparthotel.

We have visited this hotel in 2022 and came back again this april for another cycling holiday. The hotel has chnaged for the better!

Upon arrival we were offered prosecco or orange juice while we checked in which was a brilliant touch. Key cards have been replaced with wristbands too, so you neever forget your room key. This was brilliant as you didnt have to keep reminding yourself to bring the keycard every time you left the room.

The entire hotel has seemed to have a makeover and paint, looks very fresh. The best thing by far in the hotel is the water disepnsers on each floor. These give you FREE ice cold filtered water. This is essential for cyclists filling up their water bottles but also every one else, it means you dont need to pay for bottles of water and saves space in your fridge.

All staff were friendly and helpful, as it was April it was still cold and rainy so most of the entertainment was inside. The apartments were great, only downside was no air-con in April, so even on the days it got to 24/26 you didnt have an option for it. The rooms are supplied with a TV (if you speak english i suggest you watch neox HD or disney channel and press the little language button at the bottom of the remote and you can turn it into english!) Rooms are big enough and have a massive walk in shower. All shampoo/conditioner is supplied too.

Breakfast was standard hotel buffet, although between 8.30-9.30 it got really busy. One suggestion to the hotel is to provide porridge or oatmeal at breakfast, its cheap and warming which is what alot of cyclists would prefer.

The hotel ground are immaculate and well taken care of, the entire place seems very polished and cared for. The indoor swimming pool and sauna are a nice touch too when its cold outside. Although be warned, up to 4 people can book the sauna via the hotels 'App' so if you expect to have it to yourself just becuase you have booked then you might find other people in there too. We did have a very angry man tell us he had booked the sauna and wasnt willing to share it. Spoke to reception who only told us that we should share and done nothing to help. Maybe a sign on the sauna stating 4 spaces per session are available?

All in all, i love this hotel and look forward to coming back for another cycling trip next year.

Dear Fraser, Thank you for sharing your experience at Alcudia Garden on TripAdvisor! We're thrilled to hear that you consider us the best hotel in Alcudia port for cyclists and that you returned for another memorable stay. It's fantastic to know that you noticed the positive changes we've made, from the warm welcome with prosecco or orange juice to the convenient wristband room keys. We're glad you appreciated the upgraded facilities, including the water dispensers on each floor, which we believe are essential for our guests, especially cyclists. Your compliments on our friendly and helpful staff, well-maintained grounds, and enjoyable entertainment indoors mean a lot to us. We'll certainly take your suggestions into consideration, especially regarding breakfast options for cyclists. We look forward to hosting you again for another fantastic cycling trip next year! Best wishes, Vicens Fuster and all the team at Alcudia Garden Aparthotel.

Pool was excellent, one small pool suitable for toddlers, a slightly bigger pool with 0.8m depth and a large pool for adults.

Entertainment team were always happy to see you and worked their socks off. But one easy major improvement would be to play classic minidisco songs during the minidisco so that children can just dance as opposed to listening to people speaking in different languages for the vast majority of the time. As mini discos go it's the poorest we've seen, and our children normally love them. I feel harsh because the entertainment team worked their socks off and their shows after the minidisco were well rehearsed, I'm just trying to be constructive.

The rooms were cleaned daily, but the amenities for a self catering holiday were extremely basic (had to ask for a kettle and a toaster!).

All in all a nice hotel, but basic improvements in the aforementioned woukd have made the holiday more enjoyable.

We stayed for one night at the end of June prior to going to stay with extended family in a villa. Whilst we were only there for a single night we thought this place was great!

Our apartment in block 3 was on the ground floor and it was nicely decorated with a large outdoor space (Note: We stayed in Alcudia Garden as supposed to the adjacent Palm Garden which is part of the same wider complex - not sure if there is a difference). Everything in our place was really clean and well equipped.

We decided to eat there in the evening and the buffet/all incl food was really good. Lots of variety between meats, seafood and tons of nicely prepared salad options, it included drinks (beer/wine/soft drinks) so it was very good value. Didn't catch much of the entertainment but it looked good for families.

Really impressed by our short stay and from what I saw it was on a par with places in Mallorca where I have stayed which were 4* (the food here was better!). Excellent central location and very near to the beach. Would definitely return for a longer family holiday.

Good location. Food very nice, great variety but not hot, cold plates. Our self catering apartment had no amenities only a 2 ring hob, cutlery and 2 massive pans. No toaster kettle or anything. Staff were all very nice. Massive restaurant, manic couple hundred people in there. The room furniture was tac n dirty. Beds were comfy. I requested a quiet room and they put us right by bin collections and deliveries or we could pay for upgrade at 35e per night 490euros. Mosquitos !! Galore horrendous.
