Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed in Marismas last year and just returned from our second holiday there. The splash pool is ideal for young children, the kids club is great, the all inclusive food is excellent (different themes every night) - also i can see they have made some upgrades to things like the sun loungers since last year which is good because some hotels just don’t bother. There is a shop on site which is reasonably priced. The mini golf is good fun. I love the plants and trees all around the hotel grounds and the way the buildings are not built up too high. The high street and pier, beach etc are just a short walk away but if you get a taxi the hotel will refund the money back to you. Marismas is the only hotel we have ever booked a return trip to, and we are already daydreaming of our next trip!

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Everywhere spotlessly clean with brilliantly friendly staff. Plenty of sunbeds available through the entire day. Claudia on reception couldn't have been more helpful with a query we had with one of our rooms, thanks Claudia. A small issue with the hairdryer was fixed almost instantly, the same with a friend's fan, nothing too much bother. The onsite shop was very reasonable. We were self catering but had dinner twice in the restaurant. The first was 'international' night and there was plenty of choice with some food cooked to order. The second was the 'BBQ' night, also excellent. We would definitely consider all inclusive on another trip. Drinks prices in the bars were very reasonable. Good entertainment in the evenings. We really enjoyed the quiet location of the hotel with a 10 minute walk to the 'strip' with restaurants and bars and a further 10 minutes to the port. Will hopefully be returning.

being going to fuerte since 2007 every year for the kite festival and stayed at las Marismus since 2016. The perfect place for me, Secure car park. 15 mins walk to the main strip for shopping and eateries if required but the dining in the hotel is excellent for a 3star. I do half board. The gardens, outdoor facilities and pool, are clean and tidy . Staff are excellent its like coming home, Would not consider going elsewhere.

I rarely revisit and rarely review but I feel this hotel and it's staff deserve the acknowledgement for all the hard work they put into making the place run smoothly and providing the best stay possible for it's guests. Having stayed twice and re booked for 2024 I can say it's one of the best hotels I have stayed at in the Canaries Islands. Ideal location for most (10mins to town or beach)some bars/restuarants close by too. Only stayed self catering as the facilities are good with excellent on site shop therefore can't comment on all inclusive. Good clean pools (kids pool can get noisy at times) and plenty of loungers too. Hotel has a good sized and well secure car park for those who hire a car as I did. Check in/out was straight forward and staff helpful too. Rooms have no air con but are equipped with ceiling fans which I have found to be adequate and a good safe is also available at a reasonable cost. The grounds and rooms are kept spotless by the staff with regular towel changes and room turnovers ever other day. Pool towels are also provided free of charge. All in all I'd say ignore the minority of people moaning about the small stuff and leaving negative reviews and give the hotel a try, I guarantee there's a lot worse out there. Finally a big thanks to Andres on the front desk for all his help and info during our stays at Las Marismas.

After reading the reviews on here my husband and myself booked 10 nights here via Jet2 Holidays. We have stayed in Corralejo many times, but always like to stay on different apartment complexes around the resort so first time at Las Marismas. We arrived lunch time and told by friendly reception staff that our apartment would be ready at 2pm (check in is at 5pm) Luggage store available. Once in our our one bedroom apartment (2224) Top floor (second floor) overlooking the waterfall and crazy golf. Spacious, well equipped but had a few problems:- fridge, tv and safe didn’t work and tap was very loose and leaking in the kitchen, once we told the receptionist all problems were resolved within a few hours. Beds very comfortable, massive balcony and spacious bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d need to do a quick meal. Fridge had a small freezer compartment. Our front door looked out over the car park which was very handy as we had a car and could pass shopping and beach bags over the wall. We were self catering so didn’t use the restaurant or bars. We really only used the apartment complex as a base, didn’t swim in the pool but did sit around it a couple of times throughout our stay, Plenty of loungers and mattresses always available (even though it was October half term) Pool area very clean. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous, many different species of plants and trees (pomegranate and banana) it’s like walking around Kew Gardens! Wi-Fi is excellent around the apartment and complex. You are given free pool towels. Nice well stocked shop onsite. Location is great, opposite the Baku crazy golf and water park, about a 15 minute stroll into the old town and beaches. Free crazy golf within the complex. One tip I would suggest:- email Las Marismas a week before you arrive and ask for a pool/crazy golf facing apartment on a top floor- that way you can leave the patio doors open (fly screen) closed and allow the breeze to flow through the apartment as there’s only ceiling fans which do work well but no aircon, we found this was absolutely fine. Also take ear plugs as the water fall is very loud at night if you have the doors open. We would very much recommend staying in this beautiful complex it’s immaculate and very friendly/helpful staff.

Just back from a fab trip to Las Marismas. Complex lovely, big pools, not too cold, lots of sunbeds, provided with towels for sunbeds, apartments spacious, beds comfy. Provided with lots of information on arrival, staff very helpful at reception. Our son loved the miniclub, girl was very friendly and great fun. Location ideal around the corner from waterpark. We only ate one night in main restaurant, wasn't too impressed however poolbar food was lovely. Entertainment on a few evenings too. Could do with air conditioning, there are ceiling fans but bedroom was stuffy as didn't want to open door at night on ground floor. It wouldn't stop us going back, highly recommend.

We returned from our week at Las Marismas last weekend and very much wish we were still there! After a top notch holiday elsewhere last year for our first family holiday abroad, we were nervous about setting our expectations too high, but I'm so glad we booked here. The reception staff were fantastic - welcoming and informative on arrival (check-in is officially 5pm, but we arrived at 1.30 - they gave us our wristbands and sent us to the bar for food and drinks, having stowed our luggage in the room downstairs - we were in our room by 3) and incredibly helpful when my daughter was sick one night (too many sweets?!) - thank you so much Aston! We had a 2 bedroom apartment (1303), which comprised a bedroom at each end (2 single beds either together or pushed apart as a twin for the kids) with a lounge and kitchen/dining/kitchen area in the middle and the bathroom (with a great shower over the bath near the entrance. The bedrooms and living area had sliding doors (with mosquito screens) out onto a long balcony. The balcony had a useful airer for clothes/towels as well as tables and chairs. The view from the balcony was across the wonderful cacti gardens - what a treat! Though we did have to retrieve some swimwear from the foliage below on a particularly windy day.. The rooms were cleaned on 5 out of 7 days - we were informed on check-in that they would not be cleaned on a Tuesday or Thursday. That's fine with us. There is no air con, just ceiling fans - yes it was a bit warm overnight, but we coped. Better than what was awaiting us back home! Like most places, the pools were a little chilly of course, but great to cool off in the heat. There are 2 main pools and 1 kids splash pool - all of which were clean and well maintained. No problem getting a sunbed, though not always in full sun - fine with us with young kids anyway. Pool towels were provided in the rooms and could be changed at reception for 1EUR. The grounds in general were well maintained, clean and a delight to wander around. There is mini golf (we had a free one hour game each day) and I believe there were tennis and squash courts as well as a gym, though we didn't use them. There is a very reasonable and well stocked mini market on site and we spotted a few vending machines about too. We were all inclusive and enjoyed a range of dishes - there are theme nights each night (Spanish, Italian, Asian, BBQ, "International" and Mexican) and they put on a fantastic spread for Halloween. There was always salad, chips and soup on offer at lunch and dinner too, so hopefully something for everyone. The waiting staff were friendly and clearly working hard. The only let down was that the pool bar snacks weren't always there - they should have been out from 11ish til 1 and then 3 til 4 each day, and on at least one day they didn't both with the 3 til 4 slot because they'd been so busy serving to non-all-inclusive guests. It didn't bother us enough to complain, as we'd had a decent late breakfast and the ice cream we could get kept the kids going til dinner. We didn't drink a lot of alcohol, so can't comment on that, but the wine, beer and soft drinks we did have on all inclusive was perfectly drinkable :) The hotel is located pretty much at the top of the main strip and lots of people went out in the evening, though there was some music and a brilliant magic act at the hotel for those of us remaining on site. This finished by about 10pm and the complex was quite peaceful on an evening/night, which I really appreciated when getting my daughter to bed. We can't comment on the kids clubs, as ours didn't want to go - they were way too happy in the pool. It took us about 30 minutes to walk down the strip to the marina and beaches in Corralejo (we got a taxi another day which was about 7EUR) and spent one lovely afternoon on the beach nearest the marina - it was nice and sheltered so the kids were happy to swim in the sea. Round the other side of the harbour it was pretty choppy and fun to watch the surfers catching those huge waves! Overall, it was a very positive experience and we certainly hope to return to Las Marismas in the future.
