We stayed at this hotel as a family of 5…2 adults, 3 kids (aged 15, 14 and 9) for ten nights half board. The hotel is located opposite a very small convenience shop but within a 5 minute walk to a large supermarket, less than 10 minute walk to the beach and train station.

We couldn’t fault this hotel. We booked a 1 bed apartment which had a super king size bed, a fold away bed, and a double sofa-bed in the living area. The apartment was comfortable with a small kitchenette - full size under counter fridge, cupboard space with plates and glasses etc provided. The air conditioning was great and worked well. Our balcony overlooked the pool which we were delighted with. The room was cleaned daily and was immaculate. The entire hotel was immaculately clean and the staff clearly work very hard to maintain the high standard of cleanliness.

The food selection in the hotel was great. The breakfast buffet consisted of a selection of fruit, yoghurts, meats, cheeses, hot breakfast options, pastries and in the outdoor seated area a chef was cooking omelettes, fresh fried eggs, and pancakes.

The evening buffet was well varied each evening and we never felt that it was repetitive. We really enjoyed the food and found it to be of much greater quality than we had expected before arriving at this hotel.

The drinks menu at the hotel is very reasonable - bottled water at €1.35, glass of wine €2.90 etc

There are two pool tables in the bar area (costing €1 to play a game) which my children made use of at times. The hotel staff run kids entertainment at certain times each day also.

The pool is adequate for the hotel and there were always plenty of loungers available around the pool. It opens at 9am each day but we found that it was maybe 10.30 am before anyone lay around the pool and everyone respected the fact that you couldn’t reserve loungers with towels. There was never an issue getting a lounger.

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and always very polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble

All in all a great holiday at this hotel and we would definitely return

Just back from a 10 day stay in Miami Park with my husband and 2 teenage sons and we stayed half board. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed, they had even left 4 plates of food for us as we arrived late, a lovely gesture. We really did strike gold with this hotel, it is small and family run which totally adds to the charm. There is no rushing for sun loungers during the day and no big inflatables in the pool, these are the rules and all the guests respected them, which was fabulous.
The hotel and the rooms are possibly the cleanest I have seen on my travels. We stayed in the superior suite, which has a seperate room with 2 single beds and the kitchen/living room has a double fold out couch. Big shout out to Avi in reception who arranged for a pull out bed so everyone had their own bed. Brilliant service.
I cannot speak highly enough about the staff, Radka Luna and Pili, these ladies go out of their way to look after the guests and are so hard working. Maximillian also makes a great cappuccino and was alway very kind to the lads when they had him plagued for change for the pool tables. All the staff were amazing and we always looked forward to seeing what Julio had cooked in his little outside hotplate area each night, he is such a gentleman and after a few days knew your order and would bring down your omelette/pancakes without even asking in the mornings.
The location could not be better, 2 minutes from the main shopping street. 5 minutes from the train station where you can do a day trip to Barcelona for €35 for the 4 of us to return.
Only a 40 minute drive from Girona airport, with plenty of watersports and activities to keep us all entertained Miami Park and Calella won us over, and we will definitely be returning.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Calella; you will not be disappointed!
We arrived early afternoon and the room was not yet available but they did everything to hurry up for us and Francesca made us very welcome.
The rooms and the hotel in general are just spotless, cleaned every day if you wish, with a microwave, fridge and toaster provided at no extra cost. The air con was also good, and we had an a amazing pool view from our balcony.
We stayed half board and the breakfast was great, with lots of choice. You could have freshly cooked omelette to your preference and fresh pancakes daily. The dinner was different every day, and proper food, not once did I see a pile of deep fried processed rubbish; it is all proper food and you can eat properly as a family without the kids being high as kites all week. Weekends there is a chocolate fountain which my kids went crazy for!
My daughter is coeliac so I was quite worried before we arrived - it could not have been better. Francesca assured me on arrival they had made a note of our need for gluten free options before I even mentioned it, and it got better from there. There was fresh fruit and salad galore daily. Every single day we ate at the hotel, the chef came out and personally walked me through every dish to let me know what was safe and what wasn’t. The service was incredible.
While we were there, the saxophonist came twice and he was amazing. The pool was clean and kids had fun all week, with face painting, kids activities and the local amenities.
The train station is a few minutes walk, as is the supermarket and local square. A note - Calella is very olde worlde so not for those looking for fast paced high tech holidays. It is perfect for switching off and enjoying family time.
I wouldn’t hesitate to come back here as we have stayed in many hotels in Calella and this is our best stay yet. Thank you Francesca and the rest of the team for such a wonderful stay.

We arrived late and was greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist who informed us that a meal had been left for us which was very unexpected but very much appreciated. The room was very spacious and clean, lovely shower and bath with instant hot water each day, the rooms are cleaned to a high standard daily and fresh towels are provided.

The swimming pool is on the small side but it's beautifully clean and we never had any issues getting a sun lounger and it was never overcrowded in the pool.

We stayed half board, lovely breakfast each morning , plenty of choice and well prepared, Dinner was the same , pretty good choice and believe me you will never go hungry (only slight downside is the food wasn't always as hot as we would have liked)

Lovely town two minutes walk away from the hotel, Beach is about ten minutes walk away and the train station the same, we decided to travel into Barcelona on one day, it takes about an hour on the train and it cost 11 Euros return, fantastic value.

Wi Fi is very hit and miss and the TV is mainly Spanish channels but it does have BBC news 27x7 which was nice.

We had a lovely stay at the Aparthotel Miami Park Hotel and I wouldn't hesitate on returning - It was fabulous - thank you to the Hotel and Staff for making it such a lovely stay.

I went here not to long ago and it is amazing trust me. It is great for families, rooms are cleaned and beds made every day at no extra cost, food is good but not many options for vegetarians or fussy kids. The pool area is great no reserves for sunbeds which was good and pool is nice and clean. No inflatables in pool but not everyone followed that rule. Lots of entertainment and food choices. Air con at no extra cost in room and worked wel . Tv worked well and for football

There are so many good things about this hotel, but there are a couple of major problems too.

We stayed in a junior superior suite (top floor with terrace). We were initially given a rubbish corner room on the 3rd floor but requested an upgrade (cost a bit more) but was worth it. Our top floor room was lovely and sun terrace /views fab. We stayed half board for a week. Really liked the food, all traditional Spanish cooking, lots of fish dishes. Always something new to try, our 2 teenage boys were happy too. Staff at the hotel are v friendly and always helpful. Calella is a great place, easy to travel to Barcelona 1 hour by train and with lots of shopping and eateries close by. We were lucky enough to visit when the Sing for Gold and Octoberfests were on, fantastic to listen to world class choirs and bands in the local squares. Beaches are clean and good for snorkeling too.

Now for the problems: hotel walls are v thin..and the room next door seemed to be THE place for several (yes several!) different couples over the week to get it on in the early hours. Nothing against this, but not so often, so loudly and for so long, that's just inconsiderate and becomes embarrassing when your teenage children keep a tally of how many times other guests went at it during the night!

But by far the bigger problem was the air conditioning.. It must have been installed when the hotel was built and is no longer effective. Even with the air con on full and the coolest setting the room temp overnight was around 25degrees which made sleeping v uncomfortable. Can't imagine how guests in high heat of summer would survive! The staff are aware of the issue, and have to encourage you to use it with the terrace doors shut (we did) or smile apologetically. For this reason I would not go back to Miami until they upgrade to functioning air con. Shame as it's a lovely hotel in a great location.

I have spent 3 nights in the hotel with my 4 yo daughter for my husband’s Ironman race. The service is extremely good and the hotel has outstanding and very friendly stuff.
It happened to be my daughter’s birthday. The staff was very kind and professional. They prepared a little celebration for us. They do things with their hearts! In addition, the buffet breakfast and dinner are fantastic, with a great variety choice of food, fresh and delicious always. They change the selections everyday. Also, for my husband’s Ironman race, there is clear information in the hotel to help him for the preparation. They have a bike room for guests to gear and clean up the bikes, a very thoughtful touch. When my husband was running for the race, I have spent great time with my daughter in the pool as well as the children’s room equipped with a lot of toys. I can’t recommend this hotel more. Thank you so much for this great experience!

From the moment we arrived in the early hours of the morning to find the staff had saved us huge meal portions because we missed dinner, this place did not disappoint.
The room was spotless and spacious, the beds very comfortable (and I slept on the sofabed!) All the staff go above and beyond, from the cleaners to the entertainment team, making sure all our needs are met. The food was plentiful, lots of variety, my very fussy 10 year old and vegetarian room mate were more than happy. The poolside was well maintained and sparkling clean, plenty of sun loungers, could do with a few more parasols but there was always a shaded area to sit and relax.
We particularly enjoyed the aquagym to get us moving each morning.
Situated in the 'old town' part of Calella, just a short walk from the train station and several supermarkets and very near the main pedestrian street. About a 15 minute relaxed walk to the beach.
Fell in love with this place, the hotel and Calella itself, will be back!

As a family of five with a 17 yr old, 15 yr old and 12 yr old, we had a lovely time in Aparthotel Miami Park. The pool was great and we never had an issue getting sun beds. We were on the second floor and wifi worked fine. We had a Junior Suite with an extra bed and a second bathroom which was much appreciated. The sofa bed was very comfortable and there was a partition between the living area where we slept and the bedroom with the three beds in it. Even though there was a gap above the partition it was better to leave it open for cool air to circulate. The air conditioning depended on shutting the balcony doors and in our apartment it often took three or four attempts of banging the doors closed before the AC worked. It was a 12 minute walk to the Xiri 9 bar at the beach where there were two drinks and one sun bed for €6 if we showed our hotel key card. The sea got deep very quickly and there were very strong waves that meant it would be hazardous for young children although there were lifeguards on duty. There are an abundance of restaurants nearby and we enjoyed eating out. We arrived at close to 11pm and asked at reception if there was anywhere to eat, the receptionist only suggested takeaway but actually there are a number of restaurants open until 12.30 or 1am. Kebab Calella down the street has tasty food unlike the overcooked pizzas we ate from Can Charly. Check out is at 11am although if you book through a third party you may need to leave at 10am. There was no information on checkout time until we asked and even then the staff weren’t sure. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reasonably priced, family friendly accommodation.

Very disappointing holiday. I had requested 2 rooms next to each other as we were travelling with my son and his young family and we needed to be able to use a baby monitor between the 2 rooms. We waited 5 hours for our rooms with a one year old desperate for her cot, which by the way was put in a room at the charge of €5 a day ( we knew this but the first time ever been charged for a cot)! We were offered one room slightly earlier but told this wouldn't be together so we waiting so was the importance that we had adjacent rooms. We finally got rooms but not together!! Nights spent in separate places!! Rubbish and disappointing!!

The sound proofing is non existent!! The noise us unreal!! You can clearly hear conversations next door never mind kids and adults playing in the corridors, banging doors, banging on doors shouting and screaming. No one seems to supervise anything. We've had very little sleep due to the constant noise through the night!

The very small pool is also unsupervised.. of course kids will jump and play but the constant bombing from 9am until 7pm makes the pool unusable by many!!

So many people complaining of the same problems as us..

I'm in the hotel now 11.09pm. 2 more nights to go, kids playing in the corridor outside our room, babies crying, adults shouting, doors banging, it's just a nightmare!! I'm really not a party pooper, everyone should be having fun, its a holiday but this is no fun.
