The former Hotel de la Poste is still a causy place to be. The welcoming is warm and polite. The ambiance is good. The rooms are large and typically Swiss. My room, 12, on the scond floor had no bath room/shower. The shared bathroom/shower is clean. The breakfast is generous and Bibi is keen to have enough of everything. At...

We chose this hotel for a one-night stop on a driving tour of Europe. First impressions were not good - a weedy overgrown bit of grassy area outside the front door, an extremely grubby hallway and a great deal of clutter everywhere. We were greeted by our hostess Bibi who informed us we had been upgraded from a Junior Suite...

I've never felt so cozy in a bed away from home. You will feel welcomed from the first moment you step in to this unique and charming B&B. The owners are delightful. Bebe will help you with as many questions as you have. Rosaly's is a short walk from the train station and to all the restaurants and shops in...

We stay in this area on a regular basis because we enjoy walking our dog in the local countryside. When our regular hotel was full, we took and chance on the Hotel de la Poste and it was a great choice. Firstly, they accept dogs, so that was a good starting point. The rooms are well decorated in swiss style...

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, lovely place with Swiss charm! Very good location not too far from the town centre, hostess was very helpful, good breakfast, fantastic view of the mountains. Definitely would recommend.

I have spent five days with my family first week of January 2015. this is a very simple and nice hotel, family run. The location is excellent, side by side with one of the main Ski lifts, and two steps from the train station, but a the same time is quiet. Do not expect luxury in this place, but rather...

We stayed for a weekend with our children - one of whom was poorly during our stay and the host could not have been kinder or more helpful. The hotel is small and well situated close to the station. The rooms are pretty with lovely views. But it is the host that made us feel so welcome and really went...

My husband and I are staying here for 4 nights having found an excellent deal online. We are staying on the top floor in the suite. It is possibly the comfiest, cleanest and best room I have ever stayed in! The decor and lighting in here is well suited to the room, there is a TV, DVD, digi box, coffee...

Hotel de la Poste is an excellent choice at Chateau d"Oex. We just returned from our 3rd visit there and it is very charming. The rooms are immaculate and come in all different configurations, with or without private bath. We stayed on the third floor, opting for a shared bath room, and it was delightful. Urs and Bebe are extremely...

Don't be disapointed when you look at this unique gem from the outside, the beauty is within. We had an absolute wonderful time and loved every minute of it. It can get anymore 'Swissness' than this and the whole family just wanted to stay on. The rooms are truly Swiss chic and breakfast is beautiful done, it has everything one...
