I'm going to state an unpopular opinion here, but staying at this hotel, I felt mostly neglected. The facilities are nice enough, the castle is nicely appointed, and the breakfast was fine, with some local specialties, but no skim or soy milk. This B&B is about 3km from Sierre, it's not really in Sierre at all but in really closer...

Hi Jon, Thank you for taking the time to write this article. We are really sorry to read that you have not had the chance to enjoy the your stay at our castle. As we offer a wine tourism experience, it is for us absolutely necessary to be located in the middle of the vineyard. Thank you for reminding us...

I stayed here as part of a work trip, and Benoît is one of the best hosts I've ever had. This unique property is located on a beautiful vineyard and is wonderfully maintained by the owners. The rooms are quaint but have all the amenities one would need. Breakfast is comprised of local meats and cheeses, as well as homemade...

This B&B has deserved their awards! Lovely owners (but don't speak a lot of english), nice rooms and excellent Valais-style breakfast. They also propose a lovely welcome drink with wines from their own vineyard which are all for sale and also sell different fruit juices and genepi (a digestif). The beds are excellent, we slept like a King and Queen...

Very quaint hotel and attractive place to stay. Service although low as seen across Switzeland is better than any other place I stayed in this stunning but abrupt country. Rooms are good, food is nice and area well placed. Lots to do around town, mountains in every direction and a good base to start from.

We have recently stayed there again for 2 nights, after we have been there roughly two years ago. The quality is still the same, very good. We like the location on a hill in the middle of the Rhone valley, surrounded by vineyards. The location is central for excursions in all directions, up and down the Rhone river valley as...

We stayed at the Castel de Daval last weekend and enjoyed it so much! The castel is in the middle of the vineyard and it is absolutely beautiful. The owners of the castle were very friendly, and therefore we felt so welcome and at home. We got a wine degustation where we could try those very delicious wines and where...

Very warm welcome. Very very capable lady owner helped with luggage and made very appropriate recommendations about attractions and restaurants around. Even called a restaurant for me. The kind of person that makes a difference. The other highlight is the site and views. Abundant gorgeous views on the vineyards around. From my room (Le Cornalin), I had a view on...

We stayed for 2 nights. Me and my husband had a room with a terrace, our son in the tower room had access to the same terrace. Beautiful view of the Rhone valley from the terrace. Clean nice rooms, good breakfast. We tasted some of the housewine, drank it on the terrace with view of the Rhone valley. We could...

Perfect place for a stay in the Valais, stunning views, beautifully modernised castle looking building. Host , Monique, very friendly & accommodating, but we need to take French lessons:-) The building was very clean with all amenities & very comfortable. Our room in the tower had very narrow steep stairs - very awkward to climb with luggage especially , we...

We all love the place!!! This is beyond fantastic! Pros: the winery, very nice owner Monique, the services, the breakfast, simply everything. Everything is clean as new, nice view, nice vineyard. The living room is so relax that we can sit there for the whole night and enjoy the wine. Cons: To be honest, the location is good only with...
