This is an enroute stay while visiting the picturesque area of Montreux-Martigny-Chomoson-Sion where there is 40% of Switzerland's wine production with great local wine tasting establishments. We stayed overnight at the hotel after a day of touring this extensive wine valley and before heading up the mountain to the ski resort of Crames-Montana. I opted for a single room on the train-side of the hotel and after drawing the metal shutter, I slept without break until my wake-up alarm. The room (216) was long and narrow with basic amenities and nice balcony to watch the trains passby. The bed was comfortable but pillow was deplorable. Wifi is available for free but was only useable in the lobby and directly in stairwells ice the lobby. There is one English Channel but viewable on an older CRT TV that is similar size to my laptop screen...difficult to see well from the bed. The continental breakfast was basic and sufficient before the next part of a journey. Travel well and enjoy! More

Simple hotel next to the railway station. Very clean room, friendly staff and owner and fair value for money. Godd breakfast buffet. We will stay here again when we next visit. Bed a bit short for any one taller than 6 feet.

“For a quiet stay, ask for a room on opposite side of the hotel from the railway. When eating at the hotel, there is a nice wood-finished dining room tucked-away to the far left of the bar, versus the main eating area.”
