Travellers' Choice
The rooms at One Holyrood B&B (Newport, Isle of Wight) have been individually designed with quality, luxury, character and comfort as a priority. Accommodation is spread out over three floors of a Grade II listed building. Having undergone total restoration the building has maintained its charm and architectural integrity. One Holyrood Hotel over looks a sun filled garden. A Continental breakfast is included in the room rate and we use locally sourced and seasonal Isle of Wight produce wherever possible. Breakfast is served from 8am, with an earlier time available on request. In good weather breakfast can be served in the garden. We're open all year round! One Holyrood is licensed. Our cafe is open all year round for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and our now famous Traditional Afternoon Teas. The latest addition to One Holyrood is a private function room, The Tool Shed. Just refurbished we are taking bookings for private events for up to 30 people.

Loved the recently renovated and tastefully decorated building, The rooms are classy and very individual. The enclosed garden is extremely nice and would return in the Summer (post vaccine) to enjoy there eating al fresco. Menu and drink choice is good and service is wonderful. The staff are very kind and informative and advised us to take the bus up to the marvellous Carisbrooke Castle and walk down after touring. Intrigued us by saying it's worth it for the donkeys. Not the quietest place though as neighbours snappy hysterical little dog kept waking us up EVERY morning before 08.00. Does the dog walker hate this B&B?

Good location, next to a public car park (payable) and to the town centre. The room was very well appointed, clean, and strong shower. Staff really lovely, very friendly. Breakfast was nice, several options to choose from. Room became very hot as it was at the top of the building. But by turning the heating off and opening the skylight it was quickly rectified.

My wife and I stayed recently at this bed and breakfast and had a wonderful time. The staff was very welcoming and even let us choose which room we wanted since there was a vacant room. We were unfamiliar with the area and the staff helped us navigate the ferry system for the first time and made excellent dinner suggestions - go check out Hewitt btw. Breakfast was served right on time and was delicious (and included in our night fare!). Overall a wonderful experience and we hope to visit back soon.

Absolutely lovely , beautiful rooms and facilities . Wonderful owners and staff . Breakfast perfect with lots of choices from the menu . Lovely boutique rooms and beautiful garden area for guests . Amazing owner Karen who made us feel so welcome , they even allowed to take out dog and use the pet friendly room . The room facilities were excellent all types of beds from regular to extra large . Decor is very chic and tasteful. They have a coffee shop /restaurant which is equally as good . Cannot recommend a stay at one Holyrood more . FIVE STAR CHIC
