Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

2 weeks premier pitch ....caravan The site as before was immaculate shower rooms could do with being updated but are useable and in constant use. New pool side toilets and wet suit washing area which is a bonus. Pool was open early and fairly warm but clean..and checked regularly.the small bar was welcoming and the food although albeit limited menu was tasty. sAfe for children to play. A busy site but not noisy Definitely recommend

Great site, clean and facilities are good. Nice hot showers too!. Only downfall are the staff, not very friendly and definitely do not like any noise or loud (ish) music. Numerous visits by the “blue” patrol requesting music turned down even during the day. Wasn’t even that loud! Felt a little like we were almost being targeted and definitely unwanted. We were quite a large group and do like to make the most of it however, should we have been too loud, a nice approach would’ve been better. I think they should have something on their website requesting no large groups or anybody wishing to have too much fun! Needless to say, we won’t be attending again. Grumpy Pete definitely rules the camp site, not just the bar!!!!! Probably a better campsite for young families who like to go to bed at sundown.

Good site well laid out with everything there for the family. Small shop stocking essentials. Shower/toilet blocks are dated and not enough in high season. There are additional ones by pool but not the cleanest.

Just returned from our second stay at Budemeadows. All facilities clean and tidy. Site kept in great condition. Grass is cut on pitch soon as it’s empty. Bins empty twice daily. Grumpy Pete’s bar is well stocked with a great gin selection. 🍸 We will most definitely be back for another stay.

Such a great site with so much potential to be a 5* BUT Why did I feel as if I was being watched all the time? Maybe the owners have had bad experiences with past campers? But in our experience of staying at many other amazing camp sites, the level of cctv, passive aggressive notices and snooping staff this site has is very much unneeded. Great outdoor pool, handy shop, quaint bar stocked with handy games for rainy days and a brilliant play area including zip line! Clean toilets with hot showers and laundry rooms. Such an abundance of amenities BUT they weren’t enough to over shadow the ridged sometimes downright rudeness of one of their staff members, I don’t know about “Grumpy Pete” more like obnoxious arrogance. I don’t know if anything can sum up what I’m trying to say more than... they lock the play area at 8.30 every evening, bizarre indeed.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday here. Site was wonderful, facilities were always clean, showers were hot and i never had to wait to use one. Washing machines, laundary baskets and washing lines to dry your washing or beach towels! Swimming pool was such a bonus and a big hit with my boys (8 & 6). They loved the freedom on site, made lots of friends and enjoyed the park (closed at 9pm as it started to go dark) pool table and table tennis. The staff were amazing, they worked tirelessly to ensure the campsite was well kept and were even on hand to offer advice on local gins served at the bar 😋....takeaway was great for nights when you left the beach too late and couldn’t be bothered to cook...we will definitely go back...feel so relaxed 😎 Thank you Budemedows.

Didn't even get a chance to see what the park was like due to an extremely ignorant and rude man who answered the phone when we called for enquiries. If you are going to work front of house then you should speak and act accordingly, very disappointed

All the facilities you would need, on a quiet family site, with a lovely pool. However, the owners are odd, patrolling the site in the evening watching what you're doing, locking the playing field off at 8:30 and telling us to turn our music off which couldn't be heard on the next pitches anyway as we checked since we didn't want to be annoying for anyone else who was relaxing on holiday (despite the fact no one was on the next pitches to us). Could be a lovely site if not made to feel on edge. One downside to the actual site is the dated toilet blocks which could do with being renovated and modernised. In addition to this, when we stayed here it was very hot so there were a lot of fly/ mosquitos around so definitely bring some repellant. If you're hoping to use the wifi you will only get 100Mb a day for free, however, the 4G is very good in this area and we had no issue just using our phones internet when needed.

Nice clean site, toilets/showers are a bit dated but clean and warm. Beach is only a few minutes away by car. There is an outdoor pool, bar and shop which is only open in high season. Good access and easy to find.
