Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First the positives, location is great, straight off the motorway. The reception staff were lovely and a waiter,Rob, at the adjoining restaurant went out of his way to locate my lost cardigan. However, the rooms were not good. My bed was so hard I woke up in actual pain every morning, even sleeping on top of the duvet didn’t help. For a hotel that promises a good nights sleep, they are falling very short of the mark. The bathroom was a disgrace. There was black mould on the bath that remained even after I asked for the room to be cleaned. And goodness knows what on the paintwork. I am really disappointed with premier inn and I would be very hesitant to ever stay here again.

Great access to M62 but no noise to disturb my sleep. Great staff and breakfast as always was perfect. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Free Wi-Fi so I could work when I needed to.

Evie in the restaurant was so good. Thanks so much for your help and advice. She’s a brilliant person to have in your company. I’d employ her myself! I was so happy that she went out of her way to help me out and she really made my time here. Thank you!

A group of 26 recently stayed at this hotel and I was so happy with the whole stay and experience. Prior to our trip I had multiple calls and emails with the hotel about our stay, which was very helpful. At check in, it was organised and Marie was super friendly and helpful. We also used the restaurant for Breakfast and dinner and the staff, service and food were faultless. Thank you!

Came to the premier inn at Goole with my 8 year old, her first time in a hotel and a little girly night away. We were greeted by Marie at reception who was so welcoming and chatted away to my little girl. My little girl is normally quite shy but she felt that comfortable she went and asked Marie if she had any scrap paper she could draw on. Marie said she would have a look and bring it up to our room. She turned up with scrap paper, a bag full of felt tips, some chocolate and a bottle of wine for me!! I was so touched and my little girl was chuffed to bits! The hotel is comfortable and considering it's right next to a busy road you wouldn't think it. Lovely stay and thank you so much to Marie for making it extra special for my little girl!!

We stayed for 4 nights over Easter and had a lovely stay. We have stayed here before a few years ago. Marie at Reception gave us a fab warm welcome and had a laugh with us at check-in and got us some extra towels the following evening. Marie also booked us in for breakfast. It was about a 40 min drive into York which suited us and one of the days we even took a trip to Bridlington where the kids had fun at the fair and we all enjoyed fish and chips by the sea. There is a Brewers Fayre next door which was okay for a drink and was attached to the PI. Within a 30 second walk was also a petrol station, Subway, McDonald's and a shop. Plenty of parking. Only slight downside was no air con in the room and with 4 of us in there it would have been good to have it, but at least the windows opened. Overall, another good stay here and we shall no doubt return again.

The premier inn at Goole was a fantastic experience. The staff are amazing. We ate in the attached restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. The food was amazing and the service was very prompt. Can't fault them in any way. I even managed to lose an earbud in the restaurant. Of course, I didn't realize it till I came back home to Sunderland. The lovely Marie at reception could have not been any more amazing. She agreed to drive into Selby where my son lives and post it through his letterbox. That's certainly a 5* service. Thank you so much. We will stay again soon. xx

Super friendly staff - big thanks to Marie who gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival! Comfy bed with lots of space in our room. Handy location next to a Brewers Fayre attached and McDonalds & petrol station opposite the hotel which are both open 24/7

Stayed here one night in the Goole Premier Inn on the 30th of March. Stay was pleasant and received excellent service from the receptionist Marie. Although the site was very busy the customer service was excellent, particularly from Marie.
