Even on a cold February night the Old Dairy looked warm and inviting. Mayes Park has its own drive and guests' parking area. Two bedrooms to choose from, glorious underfloor heating in the beautifully-tiled bathroom, and a stylishly decorated living area made for a stunning honeymoon location. My wife and I loved the privacy, quiet, and rural views over the...

Stylish French furnishings and modern facilities, such as underfloor bathroom heating, sit comfortably within what used to be a typical North Weald farmstead that promises even more delights as the owners continue their modernisation project. We arrived on a dark, damp January evening but woke to bright sunlight, the songbirds fooled into thinking Spring might be just around the corner....

We had a really peaceful, restful stay in beautifully decorated, very well presented rooms.Excellent breakfast served at a civilised time on a Sunday morning added to a feeling of well being with great coffee and lovely fresh produce. An ideal base for attending a wedding as we did,or as a special treat on the way to Gatwick.Highly recommended.

We were looking for a nice place to stay overnight for a wedding and found the choice of nearby accommodation somewhat lacking. Even for £80-90 per night, the rooms on offer just didn't seem to hold any appeal. That was until we came across Mayes Park Lodge, which stood out from the others instantly. For just a little more money,...

We felt so welcome and relaxed at Mayes Park it was exactly what we wanted during our stay in England after spending some time in London. It was recommended to us by some friends and excelled our expectations. We stayed in The Grain Store which was beautiful and we hope to come back again someday.

We stayed one night in Mayes Park and were overwhelmed by the level of decor, comfort and privacy offered to us in 'The Dairy'. I wanted to buy every piece of furniture in our room! Hanna was absolutely lovely and it truly felt as if we were having breakfast in our own kitchen! And, - yes - it was indeed...

Mayes Park Lodge is the perfect idyllic bolt hole. My husband and I spent the weekend here and within 10 minutes we were relaxed and ready for a weekend away sans kids! Hannah and her husband were so welcoming yet not intrusive, the breakfast, which was served outside to make the most of the glorious weather was healthy and filling...

I've been coming to the area for a while on business and have been staying in generic style hotels up until now. I'm thrilled to have tried something different and have been relishing the beautiful surroundings and delicious food. I would recommend it to anyone!

A heavenly place to spend our wedding anniversary. Beautiful location, great surrounding area, delicious food and lovely, welcoming hosts. Hannah and James recommended lots of great activities for us including walking up Leith Hill, visiting Nymans Gardens and visiting Petworth House. To finish off the weekend, we also had some pampering treatments at Slinfold Country Club. What a treat! We...

Very pleasant and comfortable accommodation. Very quiet and peaceful at night because it is in the countryside. It's more expensive than most B+B's but very nicely decorated rooms (one of the owners is an interior designer). I stayed in The Old Dairy which has 2 bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a seating area. I would highly recommend it.
